6 years later...
Minju can literally hear her heart eats and nothing else at this point. She was so nervous. Minju and Xiaojun are Visiting Kang General Hospital after resigning 6 years ago. It's been a long while since they've been there but Minju's father fell I'll once again.
6 years ago when he had a heart attack, he eventually recovered pretty fast because he's a healthy man. He was never the type of person who would abuse cholesterol and caffeine. He doesn't smoke, but his only downfall was alcohol.
Now it's not his heart that is failing, it was now his liver, and that's fatal. Minju knew that she has to see her father before something bad happens.
Jinjin worked out her relationship with Minju's father when she recovered 6 years ago but now that this happened again, she dissapeared with his money once again.
Rui's currently being tested if he can donate a part of his liver for his father. Kahi and Gain are still overseas to get tested but the rest of the siblings are planning to donate if ever they're compatible.
"Would you be okay to see him alone?" Xiaojun asked Minju, just in case she's just keeping it to herself but she really can't face him.
Minju tucked some of her hair covering her face on her ears and nodded. She looks ready for this. She even bought a basket of apples. No other fruits to come with it, just apples.
They went inside the ICU. It looks the same as 6 years ago, except the staffs are different. They're much younger.
Everything else is the same. The facility was kept clean and sanitary to prevent diseases from spreading.
Minju went to her father's isolation and saw him awake, watching his own cardiac monitor. "You're not a cat. You don't have nine lives. Quit trying to die." Minju greeted.
Unlike before, his father looks glad to see her this time. He stared at his daughter who's never said anything nice to him ever since she discovered that he cheated. Minju's always been the invisible daughter of the family, she's always focused on her studies and never had a relationship to the opposite sex at a very young age like her sisters. While her two sisters are well known and famous, she never left her room unless she really has to.
Now that he was in pain and ready to accept death, he's starting to understand Minju's situation more.
Minju was always scared of him and her mother because of the yelling and the fights early in the morning and last thing in the evening before the kids sleep. Kahi coped up with the toxic household by going out more with friends and dating guys while Minju wrote on her diary to make it seem like something was really happening in her life.
Then at high school, she never had friends to go out with like Kahi did. She distanced herself with people because she's afraid of them. Then she witnessed him and Jinjin and their forbidden relationship.
Minju eventually lost herself and met Ziyi. She allowed a man control her and just give up on life. It was a very traumatic relationship that she might never overcome. At that point, Minju's father never really expected her to see a man with adoration and trust.
He wouldn't blame her if she saw them all the same. Weak, cheater, liar, and violent.
Everybody in the family including Jinjin expected her to isolate herself from everybody like she always did. It was all better that way. She tried so hard not to experience anything so she wouldn't make the wrong choices.
Anger was all she relied on so she could wake up everyday and be strong.
The anger and will to get her revenge gave her the motivation to wake up everyday.
Minju placed the basket of apples on his lap. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." She said looking away, uncomfortable to be nice to her father that she hated for so long.
"I'm sorry." Her father told her. Unexpectedly her tears escaped her eye. She turned around to hide the fact that she's crying.
"I cheated on your mother and ruined our family. I always envied your mother. To her family, and her friends she's always the best, the strongest, intelligent and everything. I needed someone to compliment me." He said.
It was pathetic. Everything he said was pathetic.
Minju's sobs are now audible to him. "You were the coolest. I loved the road trips. The city lights. The sea and the mountains. Every stop over. Just us inside the car, singing silly songs and talking about the most memorable moments. Everything was perfect. Until l..." she couldn't continue and started crying.
She kept her composure and face her father with red nose and swollen eyes. "Either way, I was relieved that you didn't leave Jinjin and Rui with the same selfish reasons."
"You always cared so much. I really hope Xiaojun cared that much too. You deserve someone who would care about you like you cared on a lot of things." Her father started crying too.
Minju glanced at Xiaojun who was talking to a Male nurse. He looks like he's having a good time with his new friend.
"Can you ask him to talk to me? I have things I need to tell him in case I won't make it." He said leaving Minju grabbing an apple, forcing it in her father's mouth.
"Don't say crazy things." She said and left him to ask Xiaojun to talk to her father.
Xiaojun obeyed and went to Minju's father's isolation to have a one on one conversation.
"I already hurt my daughter so much. I damaged her heart in many ways. She might get angry easily. She might yell and scream at you. She might saw too many hurtful words and regret all of them after the argument. I damaged her that much. I have turned the most beautiful flower into thorns. I am not asking you to hold the thorns tightly, all I can ever ask is to wait for the flower to grow back again. My daughter is not all bad, she used to be the sweetest. She always understood if me and her mother are having a difficult time. She always makes way for her sisters, being considerate. I don't expect any other man who she will trust again. I hope you guys end up together." He told Xiaojun.
"I love your daughter. She's not all thorns. She used to be." Xioajun smiled shyly. "How are you holding up?" He asked Minju's father since Rui's already getting tested to donate a part of his liver, then it must be bad.
He must be in so much pain.
Xiaojun was confused though, personally with liver problems usually has yellow discoloration of the skin and the eyes. This man looks normal to him. He looked closely to his eyes and it was nowhere near yellow.
"This is actually nothing. I have caused my kids lots of pain. I bet this is nothing compared to that. It's a real disease. Something that can be prescribed with medications. I have doctors that are keeping an eye on me. I can be confined in a hospital. Narcotics are available. When I hurt my kids, none of these are available to help them." He responded sadly. "Actually Xiaojun, I have a favor to ask you. Can you take Minju out of the hospital for a while." He said grabbing something from the drawer. He pulled out the only cash that he has since Jinjin took his card once again.
Even though he hasn't bought any of his new medicine yet, he didn't think twice and only thought about his daughter's happiness.
"I'm not sure if this is enough, but can you take her to a park and buy her Mars. She loves that chocolate bar. Especially when walking on parks. Can you do that for me? When she discovered I cheated, it was the only thing I can do for her to make her feel better." He shed tears once again, recalling all those times he had to take his daughter out because she wouldn't leave her room.
Xiaojun pitied the man on the hospital bed. He took his money to make him feel that he's doing this for his daughter and not Xiaojun. "I will sir." He told the man who's currently crying in front of him.
"Promise me to do this everytime she's fallen silent. She loves parks and plants." Minju's father told Xiaojun.
"Yes sir." He said while being gestured to go out and take Minju with him.
Xiaojun went out the isolation and saw Minju talking to male nurse he was talking to earlier, Byungchan. He's actually an nice guy. Hard working too. The guy reminds him of himself when he used to work here.
He loved his work so much and treats his work place sacredly.
A girl from the Pulmonary Unit came with a frowned face. "There's an admission?" She asked holding plumsets and cardiac leads.
"Yes, isolation 3." Byungchan told her. His eyes was clearly admiring her. They glistened as he smiled at the female who looks exhausted from work.
Minju knows this scenario too well. She must've arrive from a code from the ward or ER.
"You can go to the Pulmonart Unit. I can fix those." Byunghcan offered, and even handed her his Gatorade that was perfectly sealed and untouched. It was almost as if he was waiting for her so he could give it to her.
The girl received it gratefully. "Thank you so much. The truth is, I left the patient I was supposed to instruct for PFT. My partner for the day was still at St. Therese for Pt. Transfer. You're so kind. Thank you." She said before rushing to attend her patient.
Minju reminded her of his she and Xiaojun used to work here. "If only you took care of me like that I wouldn've fallen for you straight away." She whispered to Xioajun.
"Nope! I would be too kind then. You don't fall for nice guys remember. You said they're obviously rehearsed." Xiaojun told Minju loud enough for Byungchan to hear it.
"Is that so?" Byungchan asked.
Xiaojun placed a hand on his shoulder m, giving him the best advice he could give. "Good guys are boring. Give her a little thrill." He said then took Minju outside like her father told him.
"That's how she'll despise you." Minju cut him off just in case he would give more stupid advise.
"Oh come on Minju, that's how you noticed me. If it wasn't for your hate with me, you would've continued falling for Hendery." Xiaojun started arguing on the halls. They were on their way to Rui for Minju to get tested too. She might hate her father so much, but in the end, she never wanted to do nothing and watch him die.
On the way, they saw the girl that Byunghcan likes. She's at a nurse station talking to a really handsome doctor. "You're so funny Jiwoo." He said before checking the charts. They look like they were having a nice conversation before they actually went back to work. "Go back to the Pulmo Unit. Your patient is ready o take a PFT." The doctor told her.
"That sneaky girl has been flirting all this time?" Xiaojun whispered to Minju is annoyance. He couldn't believe his eyes.
Once Jiwoo was gone, the other nurses started circling the handsome Doctor.
"Dr. Seungwoo, do you have a girlfriend." One of them had the guts to ask him before he moves on to the next nurse station.
He smiled at them. He has a charming smile. "None at the moment." He said then walked away leaving them all star struck.
"And if he's going to have a girlfriend, it would be a Doctor as well. Are they living on a fairytale?" Xiaojun started ranting like a father. Minju was so amused that she didn't cut him off and listened.
"Byungchan is a better choice. He's hard working, he's nice and he's serious without any other options. Doctors are attracted to beauty. Have you ever seen a doctor with average girls? If they do they have a beautiful mistress." He started explaining.
"You're choosing Byungchan's side because you saw yourself in him." Minju told him, yanking him away before the nurses hears his rants. They might wait for him outside the hospital and beat him up.
Rui eventually found them. He looks nervous for the results if he can donate or not, but he's happy to see his sister and Xiaojun. He's been seeing them every month, if Minju and Xiaojun decides to come to Seoul. Usually, they would come visit every end of the month.
"I'm going to watch over father now. I'll just wait for Kahi noona and Gain noona." The kid said as he greeted them with a hug. He was now taller than Minju and almost taller than Xiaojun. He looks matured and responsible as he grew up.
He's now a man of the family that his father and mother can depend on.
If this is a normal teenager, he would prioritize his friends more than his fucked up family. He would've gone out joining dangerous crowds with the excuse that his father is a cheater and his mother is a mistress.
Instead of avoiding his home like he usually did after moving to Korea, he has now decided to be the reason for his parents to come home. He would cook them food, clean up and schedule family dinners. If he feels like he has nowhere to go, he has decided to create a place where he can comfortably live and stay.
It's his parent's fault if they couldn't keep up with him and maintain the healthy environment that he was trying to create.
"We'll be back in a bit, don't worry." Minju told her brother, giving him a tight hug. It's been a while since they had one of those. She was actually afraid that Rui might not like being hugged now that he's all grown up.
They watched him as he shyly waved his hands as he walked towards the ICU.
"That kid would hate the hospital in such a young age." Minju muttered, recalling how much Rui has stayed in the ICU because of their sick father.
...
While Seunghun was arranging Christmas tree for the cafe's Christmas decors, he was interrupted by Kriesia and Hendery. He shook his head despising the view of these two people. 6 years ago, they told him that they're not really dating. That it was all pretend. 6 years later and here they are, eating what they have said.
Seunghun still remembers when he and his friends promised each other not to date girls back in the college dorm. Everybody seemed like they actually agree and commit to their promise. Everything turned around after they have met these girls.
He's not even mad that they all have their own magical princesses in their lives, his biggest problem is that he hasn't met anyone to take him out of his misery.
All in all he just feel like a childish loser who looks skeptical in finding a girl to love and finally relate to his friends' stories. He felt ignorant and boring and even sometimes feel like he's not capable to love.
Questions like,
Does someone like me?
Am I not attractive?
Do I not look like someone who knows how to care?
Sometimes he tries to accept that this is how he will end up. Single and taking care of his cafe and Doyoung.
He should've accepted when Minju said she would introduce him to one of her friends.
He finished the Christmas tree and went back towards the cash register just in case someone would come in and order something.
"Dude, thanks." Hendery told him taking Kriesia somewhere else.
"Take care." He said without sincerity but in irritation. He's once again left alone.
After they left, Seunghun buried his face on his hands put together on the counter. He heard the door close, there was complete silence besides the instrumental music that he's playing for the customers. Then he heard the door open once again. He smirked and raised his head, "left something?" He asked but to his surprise, it wasn't Hendery and Kriesia.
Seunghun stood up clasping his hand on his mouth in shock. He kept stuttering and trying to say something but his words doesn't continue.
He was tongue tied.
"I'm here to claim my extra vanilla scoop."
Seunghun stopped trying to say something and smiled.
...
(Flashback)
8PM
Hendery: Kriesia, can I pick you up tomorrow? I wanna go jog at Han River with you.
Kriesia: Sure! Just don't expect me to jog. I'll be there eating a sandwich from Seven eleven until you're done.
Hendery: Honest, I like that.
Kriesia: eww!
4AM
Kriesia: Hendery!
Kriesia: Change of plans.
Kriesia: Jungwoo's mom called me. She told me we're going to Jeju islands. I guess our pretend relationship ends here.
Hendery: that's actually nice to hear. Good for you.
Hendery was actually at a post near Kriesia's house waiting to surprise her with a paper bag of Mcnuggests and fries. Kriesia did tell him that she doesn't like the leaves that Hendery eats. She even called him donkey at some point because she hated the salad that he brought her during lunch.
Kriesia did hear it from Minju, that Hendery eats only vegetables and drinks dried leaves. Of course, unlike Minju, she can tell him that she didn't want leaves.
He watched Kriesia wait at the balcony with a luggage. They might be staying in Jeju for a while. He wanted to be happy for her but at the same time, he was suspicious.
How can Jungwoo not tell her about this trip beforehand. Why is it that it was Jungwoo's mother who told her? Was it because he didn't want Kriesia to turn him down?
Hendery continued to watch over Kriesia until it was already 6AM. It was at least 2 hours of waiting and watching Kriesia trying not to fall asleep on the balcony, and her only actions were checking her phone and checking the time.
She clearly looks like she just got stood up. Looking at her right now compared to when she came out excitedly with her make up perfectly done. Now, she looks sad and disappointed.
Jungwoo's mother eventually called and told Kriesia that she has mistaken that Jungwoo was bringing her when he said that he will be bringing someone. It means, Jungwoo told his mother that he'll be bringing someone and automatically thought it was her.
"He's going to bring someone? Is it a girl?" Kriesia couldn't help but ask.
"Yes sweety, that I why I thought it was you. Sorry. I didn't know you guys have broken up." She apologized then hung up.
Kriesia was about to cry when Hendery came in like a kidnapper, pulling her inside her house then gave her the food that he bought her. He looks serious and furious. "Go ahead and eat breakfast." He instructed.
Kriesia was flustered. She didn't even get the chance to cry and regret ever taking Jungwoo for granted. He opened the box of Mcnuggets while Hendery was starting to brew coffee on her coffee maker that Minju gave her as a present her last birthday because Minju always needed coffee and she couldn't get it in Kriesia's place. Basically she did it for herself, but since Kriesia's also obsessed with coffee, it gave her some benefit too when she's lazy to go out for some coffee.
"He's bringing a girl and it's not me." She said before laughing like a maniac, or some kind of mentally unstable patient. It was a laugh in different pitch until she was sobbing, then she laughs again.
She felt stupid and it's what making her laugh, then she recalled how much she still loves Jungwoo, that's what makes her cry.
"You're acting crazy." Hendery told her, offering her a cup of coffee. "Keep yourself together, let's jog and then go to the gym. Let's get fit together and stop thinking about everything else." He said, taking a sip of his own coffee, using Jungwoo's mug.
Kriesia started crying once again. "I love him!" She sobbed, putting a piece of Mcnuggets inside her mouth.
Hendery almost gagged imagining how many calories she's putting in her mouth. Somehow he felt irresponsible for bringing her fast food.
"Love yourself first. Be healthy." Hendery told her, pulling the box of Mcnuggets away from her before she noticed and pulled it aggressively.
"Be healthy? And what? Jog? This is why you're single you're boring and follow the rules. You care about health so much that girls can't relate. They get intimidated and try to keep up with you, but you're just too out of reach with your hippie beliefs and your freaking tasteless leaves, fucking leave me alone and go back interrupting Shrek, Donkey! I'd rather go to McDonald's and eat all the junk I can eat." She said grabbing her purse.
"Boring? Tasteless leaves? Health?" Hendery chuckled. "Jungwoo can treat you all the food in the world and help you gain calories when you're stressed. I might not a be a #foodie Simon Instagram, but I smoke with you when you're stressed, tired and depressed. You don't gain weight by smoking." He said in between chuckles.
"Smoking affects your lungs." Kriesia argued.
"Calories affect every vital organ in your body. Just saying." He told Kriesia.
"Give me that coffee!" she said snatching Hendery's coffee. "I hate you so much." She said drinking Hendery's coffee.
"That's cute Kriesia. I know you like me when I was still training you." He said leaving her frozen despite the hot coffee.
(End of Flashback)
...
Xiaojun took Minju to the nearest park like her father told him. He bought Mars and an bottled iced tea. Minju was surprised that he knew that what she likes.
"Your father told me that walking on parks was the only thing that made you happy." Xiaojun confessed right away.
Minju sat on a bench, followed by Xiaojun. She took a deep breath inhaling the fresh air, looking around to see the trees and flowers around her. "That man hurt me." She said with her tears started falling. "I wanted my father back. I always loved the road trips. It made me feel like I'm on an adventure. It was perfect. I thought it'll always be like that."
Xiaojun pulled her in a hug to comfort her. He kissed her forehead to make her feel secured.
"I wanted to hate him for ruining everything! Why does he have to be sick? I hate him, but why do I feel guilty for hating him. Why does it seem to be wrong to hate him? I couldn't hate him anymore. It's like I'm tired of hating him. It was him who turned me into this hard concrete wall, but why do I still want him as my father. Why do I want to forgive him and convince myself that he wasn't that bad." She said in between sobs.
"You have forgiven him. After all these years, you have finally forgiven him. He might have crushed you so hard by not considering what you and his whole family might feel of him cheating on your mother, but you weren't a bad daughter. You still found a way to forgive him. You're not a concrete wall Minju. You were hiding behind it. You're still you." He wrapped his hands around her until she calmed down and stopped crying. She just sat there staring into blank, her head on Xiaojun's shoulder.
...
"I'm here to claim my extra vanilla scoop."
Seunghun stopped trying to say something and smiled.
"This place got bigger. Can we afford this place?" Yangyang asked Hyewon, who already found her favorite seatn just beside the glass wall to see the outside of the place. "There's free vanilla scoop, we can afford this place." She said gesturing for Yangyang to sit beside her.
Seunghun was glad to see them both. It's been 6 years since the two of them disappeared and never showed up. Nobody has heard of them but Minju and Xiaojun.
They now look like a normal couple. They aren't awkward anymore. Hyewon doesn't look branded like before. She looks simple now, but still beautiful. No salon styled hair, just laying straight.
"What can I get you both?" Seunghun personally wanted to wait their table. It's been a while since he's seen Yangyang. He has grown into a fine man.
"Are you sure we can afford this place?" Yangyang asked Hyewon shyly.
"He's still afraid of spending money. I don't get him really. Get us your best sellers and my usual milk shake please. With extra scoop. I brought him." she pointed at Yangyang who was smiling shyly.
"Don't be shy Yangyang. Since it's been a while.." he paused. "All in the house." Seunghun generously got their orders for free. It's not like a meal for two would make this place bankrupt.
He couldn't wait to catch up with them, because of that, he was rushing to serve the water first thing. He was serving water when he noticed Hyewon giggling, her eyes fixed at him.
Why?
Is there dirt on his face?
Is he wearing his apron backwards?
"What's going on?" He asked.
It took Hyewon a while to stop her giggles and finally talk. "The freedom board is funny. It's filled with letters for your staffs. Kids nowadays are funny. They see a pretty face and they fall in love." She said still ready to giggle any time soon.
Seunghun shook his head and checked the freedom board closer. It's been a while since he actually checked those notes. Some are pictures of the couples who always date her. He took those pictures himself. Some are love notes and some are drawings.
Those who post here are clever and creative.
He suddenly noticed a note for him, and there's a lot of them. They were all signed by one person.
Hayoung ♡
Seunghun took every one of them and put them on his pocket for later. He wanted to read them all one by one.
"Remember when you asked me what I wanted to be before I became a Respiratory Therapist?" Hyewon asked Yangyang.
He smiled, recalling the last time they came here. Hyewon was trying to do all her firsts with him without saving any, because she never planned for a 'next time' because the next day, she was gone without a trace.
"You said you wanted to be a racer." She continued. "I just recalled what I wanted to be. I wanted to find safety. What I wanted and desperately wanted to be is not a profession. I wanted to be safe. Now that I feel safe, I don't care what the hell my profession is." She told him.
"Well, you make people feel safe in your work. It's okay now." Yangyang reassured her, holding her hands.
The reason why they're here in Seoul is because Yangyang's going to ask Hyewon's parents approval of their marriage. After years if avoiding them, Yangyang thought he should have the decency to actually ask for their approval of this relationship.
The situation calmed down, because Hyewon's mother already approved of Yangyang two years ago. Her father eventually got tired of trying to control his daughters and completely given up in controlling Hyewon. He gave the company to a family friend and bought a ticket to a cruise for him and Hyewon's mother.
All the stress and responsibilities were gone in his life and it helped him relax more. He's still a share holder but doesn't have all the burden responsibility he once had.
...
Minju and Xiaojun went back to the hospital and went straight to the ICU to switch with Rui so he can come home and get some rest when they saw Dr. Seungwoo talking to Rui.
"Yes Dr. What seem to be the problem?" Minju interrupted in concern.
Dr. Seungwoo faced her and smiled and she almost lost her balance, being blessed with such beauty. Xiaojun rolled his eyes, clearing his throat so Minju would be brought back to reality.
"Dr. Lee wanted to deeply apologize for the wrong diagnosis. The samples were switched when your father was brought here last night. He only suffered with alcohol toxicity. The other patient has Liver Cirrhosis. The samples and results were accidentally swapped." He explained.
"My father isn't dying?" Minju confirmed.
"Nope! He's alive strong. He just need to forget about alcohol. Stay away from it and completely avoid it. A few more days and a few more tests just to confirm that he's back on track, he can go home." He explained with a smile then excused himself to check the other patients.
Minju ran towards her father's isolation where Rui was already informing him that he wasn't suffering from any life threatening diseases. He looks flustered. He couldn't even say a word.
He thought, now that he's not dying, his kids would hold on to the same grudge and anger. They won't be as sweet anymore.
Minju came in leaving Xiaojun outside since more than 1 people inside the isolation is prohibited, she told Rui to leave the two of them and hugged her father. She said no words and just wrapped her hand around him.
Even his father was surprised at her actions.
"Hurry up and devour your apples. We're going on a joyride after." She said with a smile, handing him an apple.
It was enough to make her father cry once again. This time it was louder. "I thought you're not going to care for me now that I'm well." He honestly said.
"Hurry up and eat!" Minju told him.
Kahi and Gain came in hugging him as well. "You are not holding any kind of alcohol unless it's ethyl." Kahi told him, ranting more.
Byungchan came on the side with a very charming smile. His dimples was so cute that Minju wanted to poke it. This hospital is now only hiring those who pass Korean beauty standards.
"Sorry but only one person is allowed inside the isolation. The rest can proceed on the waiting area." He told them. Minju came out right away, since she knew the hospital regulations too well.
Minju came out and saw Jiwoo, the girl that Byungchan likes. She's currently extracting blood from a patient.
"Byungchan, what is this ABG for?" She asked.
"I think he needs oxygen support. It was him who really has Liver Cirrhosis." He explained.
Jiwoo glanced back at the patient who was breathing rapid and shallow, and Minju can already tell that the girl is cursing inside her head. "You mean he's a candidate for intubation?" She corrected Byungchan's first statement.
Oxygen support is too vague. A nasal cannula is an oxygen support, a simple oxygen mask is an oxygen support. This patient needs ventilatory support.
"Yeah, something like that." He responded while attending to other patients.
Jiwoo sighed and closed his ABG kit with the blood sample inside it. "You have got to be kidding me! What is happening? My 12-hour shift with you has always been smooth it was like heaven. What happened in this hospital? Is the grim reaper withing the hospital grounds today?" She asked.
Xiaojun swallowed a lump holding Minju's hand out of guilt. "Just work together guys. I'm sure you'll get through this day." He said pulling Minju out of the ICU.
While they were trying to get Xiaojun out of the hospital, there was a paging announcement.
"Paging RT on duty, please proceed to the third floor now! Paging RT on duty, please proceed to the third floor now."
"That's code blue." Minju said dragging Xiaojin out of the hospital. "You really are amazing. I remember my first day with you. How are you still working on a hospital? Are you trying to get everybody killed?" She praised him in sarcasm.
"That was least of my intentions." Xiaojun argued.
Minju took him to Treasure box, straight to the kitchen to look for Seunghun, "This guy is not allowed in the hospital anymore. Any job opening?" Minju asked Seunghun.
He turned around and hugged the both of them right away. "I missed you guys. How about you join Hyewon and Yangyang and I'll serve you your favorite drink." He suggested.
"Yangyang and Hyewon? They're still together? They were dealing through hell the last time we saw them. Is this possible?" Asks Minju who rushed towards the dining area and saw the two having a nice conversation. It was enough to make her smile in satisfaction. These two fought to be together and it was relieving to see them six years ago and know that it was worth it.
Xiaojun frightened her when he placed his hand on her waist. She glared at Xiaojun but didn't remove his hand. "We've been through hell as well Minju, just a different hell. Overcoming together just confirms that it's love. To love is to see a glimpse of Heaven and Hell." He told her.
...
A/N: First of all, I would like to say sorry for snapping last chapter. Here's the Epilogue, and I might add bonus chapters later, but for now it's been Seoulfeels and "12 Hours of H̶e̶l̶l̶ Heaven".
Thank you guys for those who always waited for an update and stayed till the end. I can never than you guys enough. This story did made me happy while I felt like I was struggling alone. Writing it and publishing each chapter was the only thing that made my life go round. It felt like I actually have a life.
So thank you guys for inspiring me to write.
I remember writing this to get over someone. I said that I will forget him as soon as I finish this book, but it seems like I have forgotten about him in the middle of writing. For the first time I wrote a book without any deep meaning and metaphor. It's been fun guys thank you very much.
