Salem's P.O.V
His eyelids fluttered slowly as he woke. It took his thoughts all of three minutes before hitting full speed once more. He tried to talk but no words came out, just a sound like gasping for air. He was still shaking periodically.
How long have I been here? A day, perhaps three or more? Will I be here for eternity? Have I died? Eternal solitude is my punishment? That can't be possible, could it? The thought horrified him.
He attempted to move, but nothing more than jerking movements. It was hopeless and he knew it. The only comfort was hope that Pandora hadn't suffered the same fate. He didn't wish this on anyone or anything. He feared he'd never see her again.
He wanted to cry but hadn't the strength to do so. Help me was is last thought before fading out once more.
