Eddie walked through the cold that night.
he wore only a light coat over his shirt and some jeans, trudging through the light snow that barely littered the ground beneath him. He left footprints as he brought himself up the ladder Richie always left down that led up to his bedroom window. He pulled himself up onto the sill, lifting the window and sliding in quite ungracefully.
he suddenly felt relieved as he saw his boyfriend sleeping on his bed, hair sprawled across his pillow. He sat beside him, lightly holding onto his arm as he kissed his forehead. He pulled his hands away and his eyes widened as blood darted his fingertips. He quickly grabbed richies arm and gasped, screaming. Richie woke quickly, head spinning. "Richie!" He cried out, hugging him tightly before getting up and running to the bathroom.
Richie felt himself crying as well, watching as Eddie cleaned the cuts properly and bandage the wounds. "I-I'm so sorry, Eddie." He choked, "I-I know it's selfish of m-me, I just- he s-said so many things to me and-"
