6 WEEKS LATER
6 weeks later and harry, niall, zayn and liam are back in holmes chapel on a 3 week break and harry wanted to surprise louis so he didn't tell him exactly when he would be back home but harry is excited
"have you texted louis" niall asks
"yeah but he hasnt answered he should be on his lunch break, but he probably got stuck at work" harry says
"well lets go get something to eat, and then we have to meet with zayn, liam and julian and go over when you want to start recording your new album" niall says
"i know, i cant wait this tour has been so much fun and i cant believe that my american leg of the tour is done" harry says
"i know but then we got the rest of the world" niall says
"i know, where do you want to go eat" harry says
"umm how about the pizza place on cedar street" niall says " i need to go see my parents before they get mad at me if they find out i am home and didnt visit"
"well they probably know since my parents know" harry says
"ok, let me text my mom and tell her i will be by after we have our meeting" niall says as they walk to harry's car and get in as harry drives to the pizza place as harry and niall walk into the restaurant, harry sees louis sitting down having lunch with who harry knows is louis ex team mate from high school and louis back is facing harry and niall
"louis is here" harry says in almost a monotone jealous tone
"H, are you ok" niall says
"yeah, just louis didnt tell me he was still having lunch with greg" harry says as he takes a deep breath
"you want to leave or say hi" niall asks
"lets go say hi" harry says as they walk to the table where louis and greg were sitting as they get close harry can hear louis laughing
"hi louis" niall says as louis turns around and starts to get nervous
"hey, umm niall, marcel, how have you both been" louis says as he sees harry look at louis in disappointment
"wait, louis are you friends with marcel and niall" greg says laughing
"um" is all louis can says but didnt say anything else
"louis" greg says as he starts to laugh "marcel actually thought you would be friends with him" gregs says still laughing as louis wont even say anything or even look at harry as harry starts to get angry
"no we are not friends" harry growls out with so much anger
"no we just wanted to say hi, lets go marcel" niall says with anger in his voice as niall and marcel walk out of the restaurant harry hoping that louis would go after him "harry"
"just, dont say anything" harry says as tears start to pool "lets go home"
"ok, i will just order food later" niall says as they start to drive to nialls apartment "you know what lets go to a hotel i know louis will go to our apartment looking for you"
"ok, why would he do that, i thought he didn't care if anyone knew we were together" harry says as he starts to cry
"i dont know" niall says as he parks his car at the hotel and they walk in and check in and soon go into their room " i honestly dont know, are you going to talk to him about it"
"i have too but not today" harry says
"let me order the pizza" niall says as he takes out his phone and calls the pizza place" has he called you"
"no, he is probably still with greg" harry says "what if he tells greg my secret"
"i dont think he will but just in case you need to be prepared to out yourself first" niall says
"was everything he told me a lie, i thought he was sincere but to deny me that hurt" harry says as he takes a deep breath "we been together over a year and now he does this"
"are you going to forgive him" niall asks
"i dont know, i guess i need to see what he has to say first" harry says as he see his phone ringing
"louis" niall asks
"yeah" harry says as he sends louis to voicemail "i dont want to talk to him right now"
"ok, but you know that louis is going to ask liam or zayn to call you" niall says
"let me call them and tell them to stay out of it" harry says as he calls liam and zayn "zayn is pissed off at louis and liam understands"
"well then what do you want to do" niall asks harry again
"i dont know i mean i dont care that he didnt tell greg we were together but to deny me as at least his friend, i guess his image is still more important that me, i dont want to be his secret boyfriend, i get that as harry styles he cant come out but as marcel what excuse does he have" harry says as the tears start to fall
"look, before you get all worked up just listen to him see what he has to say" niall says with a calm voice as they hear a knock on the door and niall goes and opens and pays the pizza delivery guy and nial comes back as he places the box on the table "you need to eat"
"i know and i will listen to him but i am still hurt" harry says
"i know you are, and what are you going to do when we have to be at the radio station and greg is there" niall asks
"i will refuse to do any interviews with him" harry says
"well we need to finish eating so we can go meet with julian and the guys" niall says
"ok but dont say anything to julian, in case we fix this i dont want julian to hate louis and you know that once julian doesnt like you he will never forgive you and he is worse when it comes to me" harry says
"did you tell liam and zayn"
"yeah, so lets finish and go" harry says they finish their food and soon are on their way to the recording studion and 2 hours later niall drops harry off at his parents house and niall goes to see his parents
"harry" anne says surprised
"mom, i missed you so much" harry says as he hugs anne really tight
"this is a surprise you never come home when you have breaks from tour" anne questions
"well i came to surprise louis but he is still at work" harry lies
"well i love this" anne says
"how has tour been" anne says as harry tells her about his adventures while on tour and how much he misses her and just being home "well i miss you alot and i cant wait for you to come home after your tour ends"
"me too. how is gemma and dad" harry says
"everyone is good, gemma is going to do her internship here in holmes chapel so she is moving back home at the end of the month and dad well he just got promoted at work and is happy, i told him to retire but he likes to work and well i am doing good and now i help out jay when ever i can with the kids" anne says
"well i am happy you are keeping busy" harry says with a smile as annes phones starts to ring
"sorry son its jay" anne says as harrys eyes get wide" hi jay" is all anne can say as harry motions to anne the she doesn't know where he is at" no jay sorry, i didnt even know harry was in town, he never comes home when he goes on tour, why what is going on, ok well call me later then" is all anne can say as she glares at harry" why did i have to lie to jay, talk and talk quickly"
"well" harry says as he starts to tell anne everything that happened at the pizza place" but mom he didnt have to tell greg we were dating but at least that we were talking as friends or something but he never said a word and greg was laughing at the idea of louis and i being friends, mom how can he do that to me" harry says crying as anne just hugs harry and places a kiss on his cheek
"harry, son you have to talk to louis and ask him these questions" anne says as calmly as she can
"i know mom but for right now i dont want to talk to him" harry says
"are you staying at your apartment or are you going to come home" anne questions
"no i am at a hotel, i know louis will come look for me here or at my apartment" harry says as he tries to control his tears
"well talk to him listen to what he has to say" anne says
"i know" harry says as he sees hears his phone ringing" hey niall, yeah ok come pick me up"
"your leaving" anne questions
"yeah, niall is my ride, but mom here is the hotel and room number but please dont tell jay or louis where i am" harry says as they hear a knock at the door and anne answers and niall walks in
"louis called me" niall says
"jay called my mom" harry says
"has he tried to call you" niall asks
"yeah but i send him to voicemail, but i am going to turn off my phones so if you need to get a hold of me call the hotel" harry says as he gives anne one last hug as he and niall walk out of annes house and head to the hotel and go to harrys room "are you staying"
"no liam is waiting for me at home, and i want to be there in case louis goes" niall says
"i am sure he wont go since he knows you are pissed off at him" harry says
"call me if you need me" niall says as he walks out of the harrys hotel room and harry sits on his bed and takes out his notebook and starts to write as his phone starts to ring and he sees its liam "hey liam"
"how are you"
"umm i dont know, just needed to be alone niall is on his way to the apartment" harry says
"has louis tried calling you" liam asks
"yeah but i am ignoring him ,if you talk to him tell him i dont want to talk to him right now just give me time" harry says as he starts to cry

"love you too" harry says as tears continue to fall
"i will let you go, i will call you later to see how you are doing" liam says as harry says ok and hangs up the phone and stares are zayn " dont know what to do harry is heartbroken"
"i know i dont know what louis was thinking" zayn says as niall walks in the door
"did you talk to louis" niall asks zayn
"yeah, he feels bad but he said he wasnt ready to answer questions about them" zayn says
"but did he tell greg anything after we left"

"look, tell louis to give harry his space and harry will reach out to him when he is ready to talk" niall says
"i did tell him but you know how stubborn they both are" zayn says as his phone starts to ring "sorry its louis"
"answer" niall says
"hey" zayn says as he answers the phone and puts it on speaker
"harry wont answer my calls or text" louis says as he starts to cry
"i cant do anything he is stubborn like you and i told you to give him space and time and he will reach out to you, you hurt him and its not that you denied he was your boyfriend but you denied him as your friend" zayn says trying to not get mad

"and what is wrong with telling people he is your boyfriend, you both walk around the city together as boyfriends but why cant you tell greg that" zayn questions
"i guess i am insecure to tell anyone that i am in love with the school nerd" louis says as niall covers his mouth
"so you rather loose harry because you want to protect your high school reputation, well in that case i hope harry breaks up with you" zayn says
"how can you say that you are my best friend" louis cries out
"i am but right now you are in the wrong and you know that i will never tell you what you want to hear but what you have to hear" zayn says" and you are wrong so wrong, i thought you loved harry so much"

"louis when you love someone you dont hurt them by denying them but you show them off to the world, no matter what greg would of said you should of told him the truth and if he truly was your friend he would of accepted it and if not then he was never your friend" zayn says as calmly as he can
"your right, and now i messed everything up" louis says crying "do you know where harry is at"
"no niall wont tell us" zayn says " and i am not going to ask either"
"um can you let niall know that when harry is ready to talk to me to let me know, i know if i call niall he probably wont answer me" louis says crying
"i will, just calm down, i will go see you when i get off work, i should be done in like an hour" zayn says as he hangs up his phone
"i swear i dont know what else to do, and we are going to be here for 3 weeks, i hope they figure it out before we leave for the rest of the tour" liam says
"yeah me too" niall and zayn say at the same time
"how is harry" zayn asks
"Not to good" niall says "he feels betrayed, he understands but he us hurt that louis wouldnt even tell greg he was his friend that hurt him the most"
"i know i would be hurt to but the damage is done and now we have to see what happens" liam says
"i need to go and see how louis is, i worry about him when he goes thru heartache and it being harry i dont know what he is thinking, but i will call you later and let you know what is going on" zayn says as he walks out of nialls apartment and goes to louis house and when he gets there jay answers the door
"zayn, what is going on" jay asks
"umm jay, i love you like my own mom but this is something louis needs to tell you, is he in his room" zayn asks
"ok, yeah he is in his room tell him i want to talk to him when you leave" jay says
"i will i promise" zayn says as he walks up the stairs and goes into louis room "lou"
"yeah" louis says as he lifts his head and looks at zayn
"man you look horrible" zayn says
"i feel like shit, i cant loose him i honestly cant" louis says crying " its not even been one day and i feel so lost without him, i cant take this knowing he is here and i cant see him or be with him"
"look calm down, we are not going to get anywhere but louis you have to understand why he is pissed off at you" zayn says
"yeah, but i dont know why i couldnt tell greg" louis says " i guess i got worried what he would say or think about me since he started to laugh when he asked if niall and marcel were my friends"

"no, after they left we left but i didnt tell him anything" louis says "i know that outing harry styles i will be outing my self and will be nothing but the popstars bully and i dont want to be known as that, i know its true but i want people to know me as the one that loves him i dont know what i am saying anymore"
"just calm down, your mom is coming in to talk to you when i leave, but louis just please give harry his space and let him come to you that is all i am asking you to do, dont make things worst that what they are" zayn says as he hugs louis
"i will i promise its just i miss him so much" louis says "its been hard him being away but we at least would talk and facetime but i fucked up so much"
"just calm down, i know he loves you very much so just give him time he will be here for 3 weeks so please just let him come to you" zayn says
"i will, just if you talk to him tell him i am sorry and i love him" louis says crying as he hugs into harrys sweater that he may or may not have stolen from his luggage before he came back home
"lou, are you going to be ok" zayn says still holding on to his best friend
"yeah, just not much i can do and i iiiii ii dont want to loose him" louis cries out "please help me i cant loose him not after i got him and now because i was stupid i might loose him"
"just calm down i don't want to leave you here and you be like this" zayn says
"i will be fine i promise, i am sure when my mom talks to me and i will start to cry again" louis says crying
"look, i have to meet with julian but i will come check up on you before i go home" zayn says "just know that i love you"
"love you too" louis says as zayn gives him one last hug and leaves and soon louis hears a knock on his door" come in mom"
"boobear, are you ok" jay says as she goes to her son and just holds him tight "tell me what is wrong so i can help you"
"mom, i made a huge mistake" louis says
"tell me so i can either hold you or help you" jay says as louis starts to tell her everything that happened that afternoon "but why didnt you tell greg that marcel i mean harry is your boyfriend"
"i really dont know it all caught me off guard, i wasnt really ready to answer questions about us to anyone other than to who ever knew, i never thought i had to answer questions about us and now its too late i probably lost harry" louis says crying
"ohh boobear what are you scared of" jay questions
"mom, i dont know maybe knowing marcel is harry styles that i might not be good enough for him" louis says as he takes a deep breath" i mean as marcel i always thought he is gorgous but add harry styles i mean he can get anyone he wants"
"but he chose you" jay says
"but when greg was laughing asking if we were friends, my insecurities got the best of me and i was scared that greg would laugh at me it sounds stupid now that i say it outloud i should be proud of harry and tell everyone that we are together and it shouldnt matter what anyone thinks, he is amazing and treats me so good just like dad treats you, he always makes it his mission to make sure i always smile and am happy but asks nothing in return" louis says crying
"look just get some sleep i will check on you in the morning, good thing tomorrow is saturday so get some rest and when you have had time to think we can talk some more" jay says as she hugs louis and walks out of his room and louis just lays on his bed thinking about harry wondering what he was thinking, what he was feeling and before he knew it he had fallen asleep
The following morning harry wakes up when he feels niall jumping on him
"get off me" harry says as he rolls to his side and niall falls on the floor as harry sits up laughing
"how are you feeling this morning" niall asks
"i dont know, confused, hurt, i dont know i want to listen to what louis has to say but i am scared i know we havent talked about what we are going to say to people since alot of people know that he was my bully but it hurt that he couldnt just say i was his friend" harry says taking a deep breath trying his best not to cry but the tears falling from his eyes said otherwise
"i know, H, but i think you should talk to him clear everything out" niall says
" i know i have to but" harry starts to say as niall cuts him off
"no no buts you need to this way you know what he has to say and can figure it all out today and not later, i dont like to see you hurt and your performances show" niall says
"fine, let me text him" harry says as he pulls out his phone and text louis and a few minutes later louis text harry back" he will be here at 2"
"ok, lets go get something to eat i am starving" niall says as harry changes his clothes and they go to a nearby restaurant to eat when they are done they go back to their apartment and just relax the rest of the evening, the following morning Harry and Niall get up and start getting ready they head out to breakfast and go back to harrys apartment
"do you know what you want to do" niall asks
"no i think i am going to listen to what he has to say then make a decision its just makes me so mad that he did that" harry says as anger starts to come thru
"calm down remember listen to him and then make a decision, dont make a decision over one mistake" niall says calmly
" you are right" harry says as they hear a knock at the door and niall opens it as harry takes a deep breath but is relieved that its zayn and liam
"where is louis" niall asks
"he is coming he was waiting for his mom to get out of work since dan was called in for an emergency but he just texted me he is on his way" zayn says
"are you ok" liam asks
"no, just its been hard and i dont know what to think anymore" harry says as they hear another knock on the door and liam answers it and louis walks in and harry cant help but just stare at louis
"hi" is all louis can says
"hi" harry says back as they just stare at each other
"we will be in the kitchen" niall says
"have a seat" harry says as they go and sit down
"h, i am sorry" louis starts to say as he starts to cry thinking he will loose harry

"so denying you, i know is should of told greg the truth but i wasn't ready to tell anyone about you, i mean us i am scared if anyone finds out you are harry styles they will know that i was your bully and that terrifies me" louis says
"but why not tell him we are friends that we talked thru things or something that would of be better than nothing than denying me as a friend" harry says as tears start to fall
"i am sorry but i want to tell you that this morning i ran into greg and i told greg the truth i told him that you and i became friends and now are boyfriends he laughed at me and i told him that i never want to be his friend if he is going to act that way and i told him how amazing you are and how i regretted everything i ever did to you" louis says cryings" i know it might not be much but i know i have to start some where"
"you really did" harry says shocked
"yeah, look i never want to fight over this and i know that it hurt you that i saw your face and i knew i had to do something to make things right, i never want to keep you a secret, i think you are the most amazing human and i am so lucky to call you mine and i never want to know what being with out you is like anymore, H, i love you so much" louis says crying" you treat me better than anyone will be able to, I am sorry, babe please tell me you forgive me and we can try again"
"first i want to say you didnt have to tell greg the truth but thank you for that and louis i love you so much, and these 2 days that i didnt see you were torture for me but what did greg tell you when you told him the truth" harry asks
"he was surprised i told him why i bullied you and he told me he kinda had an idea but that he couldnt be my friend anymore because he is still friends with some of the guys from the team and he didnt want them to know that you and i are together and he doesnt want to be anywhere associated with the school nerd, so i told him that was fine but image and popularity are not everything and i learned that the hard way" louis says
"i am proud of you and princess i love you too, so much" harry says as he hugs louis as louis falls back and harry is on top of louis" you want to tramatize our friends" harry whispers into louis ear
"sure" louis says as they start to kiss

"ok but lets eat first" harry says as their pizza gets to their table

"umm 2 weeks" harry says
"um gonna miss you" louis says as he starts to pout

"stop it the both of you" zayn says laughing as they hear someone clearing their voice

"just never thought you would be dating a nerd" greg says laughing
"grow up we aint in high school anymore, popularity doesnt matter and yes i am with marcel and like i told you he is amazing and if you would take the time to get to know people for who they are and not by what they look like you might have more friends" louis says trying his best not to yell
"ha i got friends and they are more popular than you all will ever be that is why i am on the radio living my best life and you all live your mediocre life come on louis i know you aint like them, just drop them and we can live our best life i can get you into any club and meet anyone you want, even harry styles" greg says " i know your deep love for him, he is going to come interview with nick soon"
"no, i learned that i want to be with people in my life that are true friends and not only my friends when its convenient, i knew that you all talked shit about me in high school and when i got to college i learned that its about quality and not quantity you can keep your fake friends i rather have real friends" louis spits out as anger starts building and harry just holds his hand and louis starts to calm down

"eww gross" greg says as he starts to make gagging noises as the people he was with start to laugh
"you know greg just leave i guess just like high school we were never friends, so lets just never speak to each other again, i wont tolerate you talking bad about marcel, niall and liam so just leave" louis says anger rising
"we will dont want to catch the nerd virus" greg says as he and his friends walk away
"are you ok" louis asks harry
"yeah i am fine, but now i wont ever want to interview with him" harry says " i have an idea"

"lets get going" liam says as they pick up their trash and throw it in the trash can and walk out of the pizza place
