"Borked Seto Potion" - SageSorceress And HopeLovesMC

~Seto's POV~

"Today's the day I'm finally cleaning out my study." I thought as I rolled out of bed in a tired daze. I had asked Ty to come and help out. Ty had said he might be busy but he would try to stop by. He said the guys were working on a case or something and they might need his help. Hopefully he's able to make it. I didn't even bother changing out of my night robes as I stumbled tiredly down the stairs towards my kitchen. Upon opening the fridge and seeing nothing but last night leftovers, I stalked over to the cabinet, pulling out a jar of peanut butter. After fishing out a spoon from the drawer, I walked over to my couch, flopping down and spooning my jar of peanut butter.

I began eating about half a jar of peanut butter when I looked up at the clock. It read '10:42am'. I sat up from the couch and stretched. Slowly, I stood up and walked back into the kitchen to put my jar back in it's cabinet. I tossed the spoon into the sink along with all the others and trudged back up the stairs to haul myself into a lovely warm shower. Once I had grabbed my clothes out of my dresser, I yeeted into the bathroom.

After my morning shower, I felt much more awake and collected. I dried myself off, pulled on my usual attire, and dried off my thick, brown curls. After my normal morning routine, I waltzed into my study, flicking on the light as I let myself in. I gazed around at the mess that was my workspace. Potion bottles strewn across any and all surfaces in the dimly lit room. Books piled the shelves in the most disorganized way possible. Papers littered the floor. To put it simply... Everything was a mess.

I glanced at the clock on the wall and pulled out my phone. Ty had messaged me saying he was on his way to help start cleaning. I sighed and messaged him back.

'Great! See you soon!!!'

I looked at the time his message was sent. It was about 10 minutes ago. Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door. I rushed down the stairs and opened the front door. Ty stood there looking tired but awake at the same time.

"I don't wanna do anything." Ty says, "But I will if It gets me the ramen you promised."

I smiled and motioned him inside. He nodded as he stepped through the door. I closed it and led him upstairs to the study. I walked in and Ty let out a gasp.

"Seto, holy shit!" I looked down in shame.

"Yeah, I know..." I said. I looked up at him and He just stared back at my study in shock. He looked around and just stared at the cluttered room. I didn't know what to say or do. Ty looked back at me and he sighed.

"It's gonna be a long day, and it's gonna cost a lot of ramen." Ty sighed again.

"I suppose we should get started," Ty stated. "How much are we burning?"

"W-what?! I'm not burning any of it?! Did you seriously expect me to get rid of a single book?"

"You are gonna have to get rid of something! You can't keep it all!" Ty shot back.

"I suppose there are some potions that I could get rid of. They've been stacking up for quite some time..." I replied quietly, staring at the multitude of potions littering my workspace.

I looked around at where we should start and the old bookcase to my right caught my eye. I walked over to the shelves of books. The sheer annoyance of this bookcase made me not want to start with it, so I decided to start with something smaller.

"Let's try my potion cabinets. There's some old ones in there, but I don't think potions have an expiration date." I stated. Ty nodded in reply and we sat down in front of the one at the other side of the room. I opened the door to the cabinet and looked in, dust flying into my face. I picked up an amber tinted potion.

"I don't even remember what half of these are.." I whispered.

"Maybe we should try them out?" Ty suggested. I smiled and popped the cork off of the smaller bottle, staring at the orange-ish substance as it swirled around in the bottle.

"Welp... I suppose there's no other way to know what these are." I sighed. "Bottoms up." I said as I raised the potion bottle like it was a toast then proceeded to chug down the substance. It tasted like warm, sour kool-aid... Apparently the face I was making signaled to Ty that the potion didn't taste all that great.

"Well... is it doing anything?" Ty questioned.

" I... don't think it did anything? I mean- I don't feel any different." I responded, Staring at the empty dusty bottle in my hand.

"If these don't do anything then this entire cabinet is probably no good. Should probably just toss them all out." Ty said as he grabbed as many potions as he could from the dusty cabinet, stood up, and walked over to my trash bin, throwing them away. The next few minutes were spent tossing out the old potions from that cabinet and replacing them with the newer potions that cluttered my desk. We continued cleaning off the desk, organizing papers and putting them into folders then proceeding to put the folders in a filing cabinet neatly. A couple hours flew by and we were done with about half of the study.

"Hehehe..." I giggled. Which caught me by surprise. I glanced at Ty and he just looked at me like 'What's so funny?'.

"What did you say?" Ty asked. I looked at him again.

"I didn't say anything?" I replied giving Ty a quizzical look. He shrugged and went back to working on cleaning out the bookshelves and wiping them down with a damp paper towel.

Another half hour went by and we finished cleaning the study. I apparently let out another giggle cause Ty looked at me weirdly again.

"Dude, you alright?" He asked. I looked at him and shrugged.

"I think that potion might have had an effect after all?" I said, "Cause, I giggled twice and didn't even know I did." I said as another giggle escaped from my lips. Ty looked at me.

"Well... Do you feel any different? Like, does your stomach hurt or anything?" Ty asked.

"No??" I replied, giggling again. This time, clamping my hand over my mouth in an attempt to silence it. I stood up and walked over to one of my bookshelves, pulling a book about potions off of the shelf. I brought it to my desk and set it down as I began looking through the pages until I found one about the Amber potion I drank earlier. I began reading about the side effects of it. The page read that when a potion turns an amber color, it has expired and has varying side effects if you drink it.

"Ty... That potion was expired!" I exclaimed through giggles.

"Well... damn okay then. What do we do to reverse it?" Ty asked me as I looked back into the book. Unfortunately, It didn't say anything about how to reverse it.

"It doesn't say anything about how to reverse it at all.." I said. Ty looked down and sighed.

"I think It'll be okay though? It doesn't seem too bad.." Ty said as he chuckled at my inability to stop chuckling.

"Yeah, Maybe just give it a couple hours?" I say as I feel a giggle coming on. I clasp my hand over my mouth to try to stop it, but It leaks through.

"It's actually kinda cute though!" Ty said, trying to sound optimistic. I blushed and looked away. I appreciated it, but now was not the time.

Some time passed. I was looking through my books for a reversal potion or spell. Nothing was coming up and nothing was working. I even tried to drink a glass of milk! Ty sat down on the couch in pure boredom. I sat down next to him and sighed through my giggles. I slammed a fist down on the side of the couch in frustration.

"Nothing's working! What if this doesn't go away?" I said, trying my hardest to hold in a giggle. Ty's phone started to ring. He reached into his pocket and answered the phone. Jason was calling.

"Ty! Where are you?" Jason yelled into the phone. His voice sounding somewhat frantic.

"I'm at Seto's place. What's going on?" Ty replied. I could hear Jason trying to yell into the phone with explosions in the background.

"A nearby village was attacked by mobs and we need you to come help us take them out!" Jason yelled back.

"Okay! I'll be there in a couple minutes! Hang on until I get there!" Ty said back. Ty began to stand up as he ended the phone call. He sighed.

"A village is under attack and I need to go help the boys take care of the issue. Can you call someone to stay with you until I get back?" Ty asked.

"I can call Isaac? He might be able to?" I replied back, giggling in the process. Ty nodded and bid me farewell. He hastily ran out the door and disappeared down the path. I pulled out my phone and texted Isaac.

'Hey, igot a favbor to ask ofg yoou.'

'Oh fuck. What did you do this time?'

'Fauvlty potin is makjing melaugh nonstoppp. I ned yoiu to comew watch me tpo make sure i dont die/.'

'Dammit okay. I'll be there soon. Take deep breaths'

'Okay thankkkskskssssewad'

Ten minutes past by as Isaac walked in my front door with a bottle of wine. I look at him quizzically.

"Alright, let's fucking do this."

"Thanks again for coming." I laughed, wheezing.

"No problem. I needed something to do anyways." Isaac replied, plopping onto my couch.

"D-do you have any ideas on how to make it s-stop?" I giggled again.

"Maybe we could make you laugh a bunch so that It will go away quicker?" Isaac replied, popping the cork off the wine bottle and taking a swig.

"Maybe? B-but it's not like I have any other -haha- options." I said, wheezing.

"Alright, uhmmm. Why did the man keep throwing monopoly money at the stripper?" Isaac asked.

"Pfft.. w-why?" I said stuttering between laughs.

"Because she kept putting fake tits in his face."

"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" I laughed like a hyena, wheezing between breaths.

"What do boobs and toys have in common?" Isaac said, chuckling.

"W-w-what?" I giggled, trying to catch my breath.

"They were both originally made for kids, but daddies end up playing with them!"

"HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" I wheezed as I fell off the couch into a puddle on the floor. Issac stared at me as I pounded my fist into the carpet.

Isaac took another swig of his wine and chuckled.

"Is it working?" He asked.

"I-haha- I- Pfft hahahaha! I don't- I don't think- hahahaha!" I stuttered out, barely able to formulate a sentence.

"Dammit. I'm just gonna leave you on the floor then." Isaac said, drinking more wine.

"Hahaha- wait, Issac- d-don't," I wheezed. "Hahahahaha! I c-can't s-stop laughing!"

Isaac chuckled again and continued drinking his wine. This went on for another hour or so and through that whole time, I just couldn't stop laughing. At one point, It got dark out.

Isaac looked down at his bottle and cursed.

"Bloody bottle. It's fuckin empty already." Isaac cursed. I was a heaving mess on the floor and I couldn't breath. I began coughing. Isaac brought me a glass of water but I was too busy laughing to drink it.

"S-sorry!" I giggled as the glass shook in my hands. Trying to take a sip, but spilling half of it on my hoodie. I was finally able to drink some of the water and was able to cool down enough to the point where I fell asleep on the floor.

~Isaac's POV~

Seto legit just fell asleep on the fucking floor. I have no wine left and I don't know when Ty is coming back. I should get him off the floor. Maybe. Soft quiet giggles fell from Seto's lips, mixed in with even quieter snoring. I decided to pick Seto up off the floor and put him in his bed.

I stood up and picked the small sorcerer off the floor. I went to turn around and the front door opened. I looked over just as Ty came in. Ty gave me the "what-the-fuck-is-going-on" look. Ty walked in and over to me, placing the back of his palm against Seto's warm forehead. I handed Ty the sleeping sorcerer and picked up my wine bottle off the floor and walked out the front door. Shutting it on my way out.

~Ty's POV~

"What the... the fuck... did he just leave?" I questioned aloud. I looked down at Seto in my arms and I cautiously put him onto the couch. As I walked into the kitchen, Seto's giggle snoring stopped abruptly. I glanced over to him, seeing his eyelids flutter open. I slightly panicked but stood in my spot so he wouldn't hear me.

Seto sat up and looked around, giggling lightly. All I could do was stand there. I didn't want him to notice me. I wanted him to go back to sleep. Seto was a light sleeper so I might just have to leave so he can rest. But how the fuck do I leave if he's still awake and under the effects of a potion? I sighed and walked back into the living room. Seto looked up at me and smiled.

"Do you think that sleeping is helping you some?" I asked him. He looked down and sighed.

"I think?" He said. This time he didn't giggle.

"Well you didn't giggle. So maybe it does help," I replied, "But for now, I think you need to go back to sleep and I will come back in the morning to check on you."

"Wait Ty!! Don't leave! What if something happens and I get hurt or something? I don't want to be alone.."

"I have to go home Seto, I can't stay here forever." I replied.

"Pweaseeeeeeeeee? Pwetty pwease?" Seto begged. I sighed.

"Fine. Go upstairs to bed. I'll sleep on the couch." I replied.

"Thanks TyTy." Seto said. He went to stand up and instantly fell over.

"Fuck." Seto said. I laughed.

"Do I need to carry you?" I asked.

"Please." Seto replied.

I laughed and bent over to pick him up. I picked him up bridal style and began walking up his stairs to his room. I climbed the stairs and he started to giggle again. I walked into his room and straight up dropped him on his bed. He began to laugh more and I just sighed. I smiled and shook my head.

"Good Night Seto." I said.

"Night!" He turned over and tried to fall asleep.

I walked downstairs and grabbed a blanket from the closet. I took off my shoes and set up a pillow. After laying down and getting comfy, I finally drifted off to sleep.

~Time Skip to the Next Morning~

I woke up and I didn't know where I was. I looked around and saw Seto's cape hanging up by the doorway. I sat up and wiped my eyes, standing up and stretching. Upon hearing snoring coming from Seto's room, I smiled and crept up the stairs. As I passed the bathroom, the snoring faded and I heard his bed creak. He must've woken up. I went up to his door and knocked lightly.

"Come in.." Seto said in a sleepy voice. I opened the door and he looked at me from his bed. He was still lying down but half sitting up. I crept over to the side of his bed and sat down next to him.

"How ya feeling? Any better?" I asked Seto.

"Much better. I don't feel like I need to laugh anymore. I think sleep cured it." Seto said, trying to wake up. I smiled.

"That's good. Maybe we have finally found a cure for it. I think you should write it down."

"I think I will. And I've got something else I need to write down"

"And what would that be?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"The dates on all my potions..."
