A/N: Welcome to another part of RWBY: Jaune, Warrior of mankind. From last part's votes Mistral won so we will be starting this story off with mistral, anyways enjoy the read

Jaune woke up, gasping for air while coughing out copious amounts of saltwater out of his system. "Well, that was nice," Jaune whimpered to himself. He groaned in pain as he stood up in his bruised, cold shivering body. It didn't help that the cold night air hammered his body temperature. He rushed onto the beach sand, warming him up just by a little bit, he scanned the area for a suitable place to camp for the night, spotting a small indent amongst the hill he quickly set up a small camp.

Thanks to the waterproof (and extremely expensive) backpack he had travelled with. Most of his supplies were dry. He lit a fire and snuggled in his sleeping bag, drifting off to his dreams as he slept by the warm fire.

Arcadia

"I present to you, the new queen of Arcadia, Jade Arc!" Called the spokeswoman, the crowd erupted into cheers as the queen of Arcadia, Jade looked over from the balcony. Her blonde hair tied into a bun as a gold crown sat upon her head. The 32-year-old inherited the crown from her 75-year-old mother, Julia Arc, After a 'mistake' caused the previous heir June Arc lose her crown.

June riveted in anger as she sat across the TV. the mere sight of her younger sister's face annoyed her to no end. She had achieved higher than her for a mistake that was not her fault. Her scroll she had in her hand shattered as she crumpled her fist in anger. "If it not for Jack, all would have been fine!". Preparing for another fit of rage, a door opening silenced her.

"Mom, is everything alright?" came a concerned voice. Joan, the youngest of the arc family came in with a pained expression. She had grown exponentially from four years ago. The fourteen-year-old girl held promise to be one of the greatest huntresses of her generation. After her brother had gone missing, she drove herself to become the greatest for her brother. Not after thrashing all of her brother's bullies.

Joan had a large figure for her age with lean, noticeable muscles. She brandished the family sword, Crocea Mors on her hip with an added function of turning into a bow. "Don't worry hon, I'm just really stressed and all about this coronation," June spoke in a calm voice,

"Don't tell me you're jealous," Joan confronted, piquing an eyebrow at her mother.

"Jealous? Noooo.."

"Relax mom, I'm glad that you're not the queen and all that, gives us more time with you and the family." Joan walked in hugging her mother Giving her a rub on the back.

"Anyways it's nearly the time of year again. God, it's been four years since that time." Joan said, muffled under their embrace.

"I know you miss him, we all do. But let's not give up home kay'?" June reassured, looking at her daughter by the eye while she nodded in her tears.

"Come on, let's get an early start on dinner, we'll make Jaune's favourite"

Mistrali Forests

Jaune cut through the air, sending crescent blades of air pressure that easily dissected the remaining Beowulves. Acting quickly, he utilised soru allowing him to seemingly teleport behind the final Beowulf alpha among this pack and ended its life with a swift cut to the head.

Jaune sheathed Kizan and went back onto the road. He had been hiking well over a few hours following a road that leads to this beach in the along the mistrali coast. What he knew of Mistral was limited, it was similar to Vale a lot more attuned to the arts and music.

However, Mistral was infamous for the power and number of Mafia gangs populating the kingdom. Leading to a lot of corruption and gang wars between rival ones. However, it is controlled enough that it's dangerous to live in. Other than that, they had to surprise him.

Over the next mountain, he climbed he saw it. Mistral city, a grand city that radiated peace and a sense of home, unlike Vale's modernised design, Mistral still prompted with traditional design mixed with modern technology, occasionally you'd see a skyscraper here and there but the city kept to its design roots.

Jaune descended the mountain, meeting with the ground. Pulling out his scroll he searched up on maps 'Warrior Shrines' a few popped up but only one caught his eye,

'Edward Newgate, Warrior of Mankind' pressing navigate he went over to the place. It was located far from the hustle and bustle of the city, a place where nature was dominant over the human buildings, not a person insight. Finally, he reached his destination, a large stone statue stood over him.

A giant man with his arms crossed and looking out onto the forest stood there, a Bisento as tall as he was buried into the ground next to him. With a black bandana over his head and a large crescent moustache on his face with a great smile mirroring the shape of the moustache. Jaune couldn't help but feel intimidated by him, according to the sign that was his actual size!

Edward 'Whitebeard 'Newgate, Warrior of Mankind

King of the Earth

Jaune put his hand over his name, as he looked up to him. Jaune couldn't help but feel a connection to him. It was like he knew him in a sense, he'd seen him before but had never seen at the same time. "God, this is getting to me." Jaune sighed in disbelief, crossing his legs on a wooden bench he looked over the untouched forest, the mountainous range and the flowing river. One word could describe this all.

"Beautiful,"

"Isn't it kid" Boomed a voice, Jaune snapped to see Whitebeard standing beside him before he could respond he was suddenly teleported into a white room.

"Looks like you're the new warrior." The voice boomed again.

Whitebeard was sitting cross-legged in front of him, "You look a little lanky but you've got a lot in you kid."

"W-where am I?"

"We're in your mind kid, all Warriors of mankind are connected to the others like the maidens. but we're a lot more badass I tell ya!" whitebeard roared a booming laugh, gulping a whole bottle of Sake almost as tall as him.

Jaune was a confusing mess, one minute he was looking at the view the next he was in his mind talking to a giant who was supposed to be dead.

"Anyways kid, I've got a duty to do as a warrior of mankind. I have to give some wisdom or something like that," whitebeard muttered as he gulped down another swig of sake.

Jaune snapped out of his confusion and listened in, anything to get better at his role in the world. Whitebeard suddenly exerted a serious atmosphere, extremely different from when he was gulping down alcohol like there's no tomorrow.

"You've got given some quest right?" Jaune nodded in response,

"I have to defeat this person called the queen,"

"Well first there's no rush in doing so, take some years in training your skills and army. Secondly, don't just defeat the queen, change the world somehow."

"What do you mean by that?" Whitebeard seethed a sigh, he muttered some words that were too quiet to hear before speaking.

"For example, I was just supposed to defeat the King of the beasts, Kaidou, but I went and stopped a whole war. Change people's opinions about others, create world peace or something. Every Warrior of mankind has changed the world one way or another, I'll be expecting to see how it plays out." whitebeard slowly started fading away

Jaune jolted awake from his meditative-like state Jaune looked at a note beside him reading it it was intended for him.

'Kid, there's something inside the statue for ya, you have to split it open by yourself though.

-Whitebeard'

Jaune scanned the place for any trace of where it came from, his search came up fruitless no footprints, no one in the vicinity, nothing. However, that created the perfect situation to split it open with no one watching. Pulling out Kizan, he infused the blade with haki turning into a pitch-black blade. Tensing his muscles, he prepared to unleash his attack.

One sword Style Re Sheath: Lion Song

He blitzed past the statue with extreme speed leaving only sand in his wake and unleashed his attack on the statue before stopping and re-sheathing his sword. Like the stone had not realised it had been cut, for a few seconds it stayed silent before it broke in half. Revealing a jagged cut through the middle of the statue.

Jaune released a couple of pained breaths before dropping onto his knees in exhaustion. 'Looks like I have to vastly improve myself before I could use that move easily.' coughing out blood onto his hand. Jaune quickly regained himself and walked over to the broken statue. Inside was a rectangular chest which somehow survived the cut.

Opening up the chest was a plethora of resources and materials, most of them able to go up to millions of lien in the market. Inside the chest were also weapon moulds, katanas, bows, shields, various types of swords and a note near the bottom.

"Whoever is the next warrior of mankind sent to me, These are the materials I leave to you to accomplish your mission. Many materials and weapon moulds to make your weapon. to build up your army I give you branding stamps, there is a guide on how to use them. They give your most prized followers special powers that will help them help you. I wish you luck on your journey - Whitebeard."

'it's like he's a different person' Jaune thought, this wasn't the same drunk giant he'd met in his mind. Flipping over to the other side he read another guide.

Warriors of Mankind - Weapon Smithing

Choosing your materials,

To make your weapon you need the one that is best suited for you, you should feel a connection when you tap into your Haki rare materials tend to connect to certain types of haki.....

Jaune read down through the numerous lines of weaponsmithing, setting it aside he presented all of the materials and moulds in front of him. tapping into his haki he read through the materials, eventually picking one. Uthallyum, an S tier material that is highly durable and stays it's sharpest for longest but is heavier than most, the material was white and a sight to behold, it sprinkled in the morning sun as it rose above the horizon.

Now for the mouldings, Jaune hoped for a katana he could use this on. But for one reason or another, it chose something completely out of his comfort zone, Great Sword.

Arc Palace

Joan pulled back shot another 3 arrows to her target, all of them hitting their mark. Joan seethed a heavy sigh as she mechashifted her bow back into a sword, "Looks like you're becoming quite the fighter Joan," Joan shifted her gaze to the woman standing behind her. A woman standing in an extravagant gown befitting for a queen, her slightly wrinkled face still radiating with beauty as she looked with a soft smile.

"It's nothing Grandmother, I need to be a lot stronger to achieve my goal."

"Nonsense Joan, You are already superior to all of your surrounding peers and classmates at the school. Top of Arcadian huntress school, Won multiple tournaments around the kingdom, You're gonna give that prodigy Pyrrha a run for her money!" Julia exclaimed, "So have you thought about further education in the main campuses?"

"Beacon is a nice school to go to, but something feels off about it. But I've got three years to decide so I'm in no rush. Anyways, gotta go to bed goodnight grandmother," Joan kissed her grandmother on her cheek before going back to the palace.

Julia watched her walked back into her, making sure she was gone she pulled her scroll and dialled her number.

"Ozuna? It's me, Julia, Joan is the next summer maiden."

Mistrali Forests 3 weeks later

1 Week Ago Jaune had finally done it, grabbing it with both hands he wielded it with glory. After many sleepless nights and many many more failed attempts, he had got it right. His first ever sword that he had made by his own hands. It's shining wide white blade glistened in the moonlight, as Jaune relished in the fact that he had made this his own.

But that wasn't the hard part, learning how to use it was the toughest. The style of a greatsword completely conflicted his previous, Katanas were fast and light, unlike a greatsword which was tough and heavy, the greatsword came at a staggering 25kg (55 pounds) weight that he was barely able to use, a far cry from his light 3kg (7 pounds) katana. Although the greatsword was able to hit harder it meant nothing if he wasn't able to use it.

Jaune swang his greatsword a couple of times before letting off and smashing it into the ground, slowly but surely he was able to get the hang of it although he'd predict a year and a half for him to grasp the Intermediate techniques and maybe 5 years to master and develop his style.

Jaune rushed to his bag to grab a snack but was severely disappointed when most of his stock had run out. Jaune groaned as he felt the stares of onlookers drill into his head as he walked around with a Giant Sword on his back while shopping for groceries It isn't uncommon for a few huntresses to waltz in with their weapons for everyone to behold.

But when a MAN does it that's when things start getting weird. He approached the line as he reached the checkout operator, loading onto the belt a couple of fruits and vegetables, he'd be able to hunt meat in the wild. Walking into the street he felt the stares of people inflicting him one by one, it didn't help that observation haki was semi-used so he felt the stares of everyone.

But something that caught his eye was a homeless man begging on the street, looking at him he was able to make out the features of him distinctly, his expression change into a face of shock when he realised who it was, "Cardin?"
