Mother moon.
The sun may watch over me but the moon guides me. The light that she provides helps me through out the night. She glows so bright and lends me her light, so that I may fight the darkness I hold inside. She whispers her gentle words, as I wipe my teary eyes. You see the moon was once a woman, a goddess filled with light. She learned about the darkness, the fearful night. She made her body into the moon, binding her soul to the earth. Each and everyday she sleeps within the earth, each and every night she wakes up to give off her light. She acts like a mother, her embrace warm and tight. The sun may act as a father but I'm a child of the night.
