By the time my birthday rolled around, Rebecca and I were out of college. While she started her own art gallery, I got together with some friends from music comp. and started a band called Radiated Piss.
One night while practicing at our drummer's house, a manager with no band to manage drove by and liked what he heard. His name was Vito (wouldn't tell us his last name) and was rather impressed by what he heard. He said whatever amount of money we made he gets 20% of all profits. He then held out a contract, a clip board, a few pens.
Everyone but Erik (bassist and backup vocalist) was hesitant to sign the contract. After he signed, Steve (drummer), Justin (rhythm guitarist), and myself didn't signed until after we read through the contract. Basically restating what Vito had said earlier. After reading through it, the rest of us signed it.
After a few weeks in the studio, we already had our first album, 'Our Destiny is to drink the Radiated Piss'. In the first week of release, our album went to the top of the charts. While relaxing at home with Rebecca, Vito called and said there were so many downloads on the labels site that it crashed the server. Seeing how I was the frontman in the band, I told Vito to call the guys, tell them what's going on, and get a techie to fix the server.
A few days later, we had a press conference about our new album, our success, and what we'll be working on in the future. During the conference, Vito announced that Radiated Piss will be having their first concert in late March and the site's server has been fixed and is ready for more downloads
