Finally, the day was done. Brian was kneeling on the floor, putting away the Red Special, an elegant guitar that Brian made with his father. Brian looked at the guitar carefully to make sure that there was no damage to it.
"Hey, Bri?" a voice behind him spoke.
Brian turned to see Roger staring at him, and he noticed that they were alone once more. Not again.
"You've been acting very queer today, Brian... I would like to know why." Roger said, walking closer to Brian.
"Why do you want to know?" Brian quaered, and he looked down at his guitar, embarassed.
"It's just-" Roger stopped abruptly; he looked at his feet. "It's just you seem that you're acting differently, and it's sort of scaring me."
"Oh..." Brian said, swallowing hard and biting the inside of his cheek. He didn't know he was scaring Roger; he felt so distressed.
"Can you.... can you...." Roger mumbled.
"What, Roger?" asked Brian, looking over at his friend.
"Can you please also pay attention to me better?" he whispered; he started to walk away.
"Wait!" Brian shouted.
"What do you want, Bri?" Roger snapped, whipping his head back around.
Brian bit his lip, stood up, and stared at his feet. "Do you want to have some dinner with me?"
Roger looked at him like he was a man who just ran down the street naked and demanded drugs from a baby. Brian knew after that look, Roger would clearly say "No."
"Seriously?" asked Roger, still giving him the look.
"Yes....?" Brian stood ever so still, one could think that he was a statue. He felt as if he'd break down into tears.
"Okay." Roger said, and he kept walking towards the door.
"Really?" Brian questioned, looking at Roger, very surprised.
"Indeed. Now, shall we?" Roger stated; he continued walking out the door.
Do I really have a chance? Brian thought, smiling a little as he watch Roger walk out of the door.

The resturaunt was tiny, and not that crowded. Brian looked around. Roger had suggested this place; Brian had never heard of it. It was called Reynold's Tavern. Roger claimed that they had the best food in all of London, even though the place looked really crummy.
"For two?" asked a hostess, who looked intensely bored with her job.
"Yep," Roger replied. "At the bar please."
Oh god, the bar. Brian thought; he knew where this was going.
The hostess raised an eyebrow and winked at him, and picked up two menus. She led them to the bar that was on the other side of the tavern.
"That girl winked at me." Brian whispered.
"Oh really? She might like you!" Roger replied, laughing.
"Ha... yeah."
The hostess stopped at the bar, and the two of them took a seat.
"My name is Sarah. What would you like today, mates?" she asked, with a thick Liverpudlian dialect.
"I would like a beer ma'am," Roger said, handing her the menu. "Brian?"
"Uh, I'll have some Guinness." Brian said quickly.
Sarah took the menus and walked away; Roger was still staring at her as she walked away.
"Damn...." he whispered, and he looked at Brian.
