A week had passed since I had seen Gerard and he was all that was on my mind. I decided I would watch the band practice again today, just so I could see Gerard. I caught the bus to the studio, Gerard was right infront of me bringing in equipment. I walked quietly behind him, he put down the equipment and I grabbed his hand from behind and pulled him into the men's bathroom which was right next to us and luckily empty. I waited a second for him to realize it was me then pulled him close and kissed him. I had been waiting for this moment since the last time we had seen each other and I was glad he seemed to feel the same. We made out for about two minutes, the best two minutes of my life. He pulled away "Frank! I was beginning to think you forgot about me" "That was the last thing I could do" I reapplied. "how have you been?" I just stared at him with a huge smile "Frank" he snapped his fingers infront of my face, "oh um sorry, what were you saying?" "don't worry" he pulled me close and kissed my neck, I let out a light moan. He pulled his head back up and looked at me "are you going to watch our practice again Frank?" he stared at me with puppy dog eyes. "Of course Gerard" "ok well we better go" Gerard left the Bathroom so it didn't look suspicious.
I walked into the eyeball records practice room. "Hey you guys remember Frank don't you." he said to the rest of the band, they'll nodded and waved. "Ok then, let's get started. Let's start with 'Head First For Halos'.....1.2.3.4......"Well let's go back to the middle of the day that starts it all"
I had heard him sing last practice but he sounded different. He looked more loose and out of control. I listened to the lyrics closely and they were quite graphic, It made me upset that he had been feeling this way.

"So what's this song about Gerard?" "Oh well it's actually........" he blushed and looked at his feet. ".......it's about me wanting to kill myself" he sad bluntly. I had already gathered that from the song but when he said it the words pierced right through me. I grabbed his had and squeezed it. He looked up and smiled, "Frank, do you want to get a drink or something?" "um sure" "We'll be back soon guys, take a break" he said to the band.
He took me to a little coffee shop around the corner from the studio, it was a small and danty looking shop but the smell of fresh pastries and cakes filled the air within. We sat down at the table near the window and the waitress walked over to us "can I take your order" she looked at Gerard first, "nice to see you Mel, I'll just have my usual" he said without even opening the menu. She scribbled a few things on her note pad and gave Gerard a smile then turned to me "and for you sir?" "oh um" I hadn't even looked through the menu. "can I just get a hot chocolate and maybe....um.,..." Gerard cut in "we'll go halves on a slice of cheese cake" "no problem" she turned and walked back to the counter.
"so....." I was never really good at starting convosations. "well Frank, since we have made out twice and we havnt even had a date, I might start by asking a bit about yourself?" "Well, I play guitar, I love Black Flag and The Misfits, um I really like dogs, I have a couple tattoos and I really like you." I blushed. "it's good to know we have some things in common Frank! I'm also a big Black flag and Misfits fan" he smiled "I love to draw and I actually used to draw for the cartoon network, I went to art school, I LOVE comics and I really like you to" he grabbed my had from under the table and squeezed it. "one hot chocolate, one coffee with no suger and a slice of cheese cake" the waitres placed the drinks and food on the table and left. "looks good" I said "it is, this is my favourite coffee shop, I come here all the time, I'm kinda a local" he turned to Mel and smiled and waved his hand to gesture a thank you. I took a sip of my hot chocolate and looked up at Gerard who was staring at me "what?" I asked "nothing" said Gerard as a wide smile spread across his face as he sliced the cheesecake in half.
We stayed at the cafe for another half hour before returning to the studio.
