It was another day in Skyloft, another boring class, another training session, but no Link. He was promoted to senior class after the wing ceremony and after Zelda disappeared and poof, He was gone.

A strange green light appeared in the sky as well, just another strange thing to add on to everything else.

I grunt as I thrust the sword into the log, and I watch as it splits in half. Soon after I hear the bell ring and we are dismissed.

I put my sword away and leave, I start walking to work.

"Hey (y/n), off to work already?" I stop and turn around to see Groose and his following.

"You know it, I'm always headed to work at this time," I say.

"Working at the weird colored island must be tough, I mean, how many times have people landed on you?" He laughs gently to himself.

"That's only you," I bluntly say.

"Heh, that's true," he laughs. "But, at least you get paid."

I laugh and say, "Well I've gotta go, see you later," I start to run to a platform.

Once I get there I leap off the ledge and call my golden loftwing, he's such a lovely bird, and I'm the only one in the sky who has a bird opposite to my gender. This means nothing other than I'm an outcast.

He quickly comes to my call and I fly to work.

-time skip to the dusk-

I'm sitting in my room, lazily doing my work, when my interests get peaked.

"The goddesses hero shall descend below the cloud barrier and to the surface."

"Huh, that's weird, I wonder if that'll hap— wait," I rush outside and take flight, and I fly as fast as possible towards the green pillar of light.

Once I reach it I circle it, and just as I suspected, I can see through the clouds.

So, I jump straight into the gap.

Once I'm able to see the ground clearly I realize I can't land. A fall from this distance will certainly kill me, so I look for water, and the only deeper body I see will be tricky to get to, it's near a big tree.

I start to lean towards it, the way it's going I'm not going to make it.

"C'mon, I have to make it," I say as I lean further to the body of water.

I lean further, the ground drawing nearer.

"I'm gonna hurt so bad after this," I say, splashing into the water head first.

I swim to the top, skin burning from the impact.

"Well I made it," I say as I crawl onto the grass. With more pain seeping into my face.

I quickly notice a shadow over me.

"How'd you get here?" The shadow asks.

"Same way you did, I think," I say with a chuckle.

"How are you not dead? And how did you make it through the clouds?"

"I honestly don't know how I'm alive, after all I fell from the sky, and as for making it through, I used the gap with the green pillar above it," I say, sitting up. "Why are you here?"

"I-"

"Master, we have to hurry, we mustn't waist time," a blue and purple figure states, as she appears next to Link.

"This is Fi, and she's right," he says stepping away slightly.

"I get it, you've got to save Zelda, can I help?" I ask. "I know I don't have a sword but I'm pretty quick on my feet," I stand up, and look around at the surrounding area.

"Help is always nice, and you were best is Defensive classes," he smiles, "now follow me, we need to get through the Skyview temple."

"Let's Go then," I say.

He starts down a path and I follow him, through all the weird twists and turns of the forest, and eventually we make it into the deep woods. With our goal in sight, we step forward only to be met with a pit.

"Maybe there's a way around?" I ask.

"I hope there is, I don't want to cross that," Link says, he looks behinds us. I turn to look as well.

We both quickly spot the tightrope, Link steps onto the rope and crosses it with no problems. Next is my turn, I step onto the rope, and move forward.

With each step I get closer to the other side, but as it's stands now I'm only halfway across. I start stepping a tiny bit faster, and I'm careful not to overdue it.

"Just a few more steps," I hear Link say.

"Yeah, I've got this," I say.

More steps, and I collapse onto the dirt below me, but I quickly get up and we get back to moving towards our goal.

We rush over the arched dirt and off the ledge onto the other side below us.
