My eyes started to flutter as I watched Vicky leave the room. She glanced at me and shot me a quick smirk. Vicky and me have been best friends for a while and we can practically read each other's minds. I've known her since I was 7 but liked her since I was 9. We had a reallllllly bad rivalry as kids but it made us closer. We were never popular but not losers either. We would hang out with so jocks occasionally but could still talk to nerds. Especially Victoria. She was well liked and loud and pretty. Me on the other hand.. I was shy and sweet kind of like her assistant. But that didn't matter to me, I still really enjoyed Vickys company and still do.

The nurse walked in and I pushed myself up.
"Hello dear. How are you feeling?"
