Asher and I are currently talking by my locker.
I feel like I should tell him that I don't want to continue our relationship since my feelings for him aren't as strong as they were.
"Don't think that I hate you," I say when he looks down
"I do like you, but it's more of a friendship type of love than a relationship" I say which makes him smile before he grabs my hand
"I understand" he says before he kisses my hand which makes me blush "Can we still eat lunch together?" He asks which makes me smile as I nod my head
"Great, now let me walk my friend to class" he says with a playful tone
"No, you're going to be late for class" I say
"I don't care. They'll survive without me for a couple of seconds" he says which makes me laugh before I let him walk me to my class.
We get a lot of stares as we walk down the hall. Hopefully it's not because of what happened during ELA yesterday.
"I'll see you in a couple hours" he says with a smile before he kisses my cheek and walks to his class
I smile at his retreating body before I walk into my science class.
His reaction was way better than I thought it would be.
As soon as I take my seat beside Stella, at the back of the class, she bombards me with questions.
"What did you say to Easton this morning?" She says which makes me smile as I turn towards her
"What makes you think that I had something to do with it?" I ask her which makes her roll her eyes
"Because he hasn't been this happy since before you guys broke up" she says before her eyes widen and she looks at me with shock
"Wait... are you guys dating again?" She asks which makes my eyes widen
"No, we're just friends" I say
"Hey Amelia" I hear Easton say from beside me
"Hey" I say as I turn to him and smile once I see his beaming expression
Aww, he looks like a little kid in a candy store.
The way his light grey eyes look like they're glowing with happiness.
The bags that were underneath his eyes are now fading.
The way his his is messy but neat hair lays perfectly on top of his head.
The way his smile is making his dimples stand out.
"Hello?" I hear Stella say loudly which breaks me out of my trance as I look at her with confusion
"You both have been looking at each other with lovesick expressions for five minutes now. You need to copy notes" she says before she points to the board where the teacher has already written a lot a paragraphs
I blush before I take out a pencil and start to copy the paragraphs.
This is going to be a long day.

Lunch was interesting.
Asher and Easton are actually friendly to each other, as if they've been friends for years.
It turns out that Stella dated Asher, but he broke up with her when he moved away and Stella didn't handle it well.
Asher sat beside Stella and ignored her glares while Easton sat beside me and kept his hand on my knee.
It was weirdly comforting.
I'm currently working on math homework with Stella which is a bad idea since we keep joking with each other.
"I'm going to go make a sandwich. Do you want anything?" I ask her as I calm my laughter so that I can say something that's understandable
"No, I'm fine" she says as she controls her laugher
I walk out of her room and downstairs. I stop at the kitchen entrance when I see Easton standing there shirtless with grey sweatpants hanging low on his waist as he makes a sandwich.
Damn.
I'd love to have his children.
He looks up and smiles at me.
Fuck, my ovaries.
"Sorry, I just got back from the gym and I was starving. Do you want one?" He ask but I'm too entranced by his surfer boy body to even say anything
"Don't worry, I washed my hands" he says as he holds them up in surrender which snaps me out of my trance
"What?" I ask in confusion which makes him smile at my reaction
"Do you want me to make you one?" He asks as he points to his sandwich which makes me blush
How did I not hear that?
Is my hearing really that bad today?
"No, it's fine" I say as I walk towards him and take out a sub roll so that I can make my sandwich
He smiles at me before he observes the way that I move around prepare my sandwich.
As I'm placing lettuce on my sandwich, I feel arms wrap around my waist as a head rests on my shoulder which makes me laugh.
"Are you comfortable?" I ask which causes his thumbs to massage my hips as he hums
"Mhm," He says "You smell like oranges" he says which causes me to laugh at him
"You smell like nature" I say since he's not sweaty nor is there a strong scent of sweat coming from him
He laughs which makes me smile before I continue to make my sandwich.
As soon as I finish eating half of my sandwich, I hear someone walking down the stairs before Stella walks into my view.
When she sees us she smiles.
"I thought you both were 'just friends'" she says with air quotes around just friends
"We are. He's just keeping me company" I say as I rub one of Easton's arms that are around my waist in a comforting way
"Sure" she says with a teasing voice that makes me blush as I continue to eat my sandwich
"So, Who are you guys going to prom with?" Stella asks which makes my eyes widen
I forgot that prom is in a week.
"Can you please come shopping with me after school tomorrow?" I ask Stella which makes her smile as she nods her head
"I need to shop also" she says with a shrug before she walks out of the kitchen and back upstairs
I look at Easton's head that's resting on my shoulder and try to determine if he's asleep since he's been quiet for a while now
"Are you awake?" I ask him which causes him to nod his head slowly
"Go upstairs. You have to shower before you can sleep" I say which makes him groan before he grabs my hand and brings me up towards his room
He sits me in his bed before he places his hands on my knees and looks at me with a pout and sad eyes
"Please stay. You help me sleep better" he says which makes me smile
I'd do anything to help him feel better.
I'm petty at moments, but I'm not going to let him lose any more sleep. Especially when he looks exhausted, like now.
I reach up and gently caress his cheek which makes him immediately relax and melt into my touch
"Of course I will" I say which makes him smile before he kisses my forehead and walks into the bathroom
God, that boy will be the death of me.
I crawl to the right side of his bed and make myself comfortable under the blankets.
I forgot how comfortable his bed was and fell asleep within a few short minutes. I woke up for a second when I felt myself being moved into a body that smells like spearmint.
I look up through half closed eyes and see Easton smiling down at me with adoration
"It's just me. Go back to sleep" he says as he wraps his arm around my waist and uses his thumb to rub the exposed skin of my hip where my shirt rode up
I nod my head before I get comfortable on his chest and fall asleep within a couple of seconds.
