My eyes see people all around me,
Though I can't see the person inside
I have to believe they are faking it.
That not everyone in this world has the same thoughts and feelings,
As if we do not even own ourselves.
And have the ability to choose the ways we follow.
To think some try to hide their true self through walls of lies within our minds,
They contemplate on whether to let them free or live forever a lie,
Letting no one see.
They become one of the people,
A mass group,
To never have individuality till they die.
Become a person.
Do not join "the people."
Is what I keep saying,
But I can not change my ways,
Unless I drop my pride and pick up my personality instead.
