"Dance with me."

Jennie narrowed her eyes at the other.

Was she serious? There is no way she would dance with her in such a tight space.

Jennie shook her head, no.

"What if I give you more chocolate?"

Jennie looked up at the girl who was already stretching her legs to get ready to dance.

"Gimme," Jennie mumbled with a pout, resting her head on her kneecaps.

"Here you go." Jisoo obliged immediately, handing Jennie a big wrapped chocolate orb, sparkling in the colors of the rainbow.

Just how much chocolate was in her pockets? They could probably survive with those.

Jennie unfolded it and put it in her mouth.

"Now dance with me?"

Jennie shook her head again.

"Whyy?" Jisoo whined. "I already bought a dance with a chocolate."

"You would need a thousand chocolates to buy a dance with me." Jennie stated ever so confidently.

"All right."

Without further ado Jisoo leant down to grasp for Jennie's cold hand and pull her up.

"If we move we'll be warmer."

Jisoo squeezed her hand to warm it up. Yet it warmed her heart more than it did her hands.

"I'm really not in the mood to dance..." Jennie looked away with a slight blush. They were too close.

"I'll get you in the mood."

Jisoo smiled and took the sticky sparkly foil from the brunette's clutched left hand. Then she unwrapped more chocolate and fed them to Jennie as she did.

"Eight down. Not much more till a thousand." The raven grinned.

Jennie raised a brow. "I'm not saying no to the sweets, but how is that getting me in the mood?"

Jisoo looked intently at the younger.

"Jennie?" She muttered like she was about to ask her of a favour.

"What is it weirdo?"

"Do you think you can lift me?"

Jennie snorted. "Is that another elevator joke? Cause if it is--"

"I'm not trying to be funny," Jisoo giggled. "It was a serious question."

She sounded serious enough that Jennie believed it.

"Well, then yes." Jennie folded her arms. "Who do you think I am? Someone weak? As if I can't lift you, midget." She scoffed.

Jisoo was going to tell her she is smaller than she is but she wasn't ready for another fight, so she dared the girl instead.

"Prove it."

"No."

"So you can't? Hm," Jisoo's lips twitched mockingly. "Figured you are too tiny for that."

"You did not!" Jennie frowned. "Fine, I'll do it. Do you want me to throw you to Australia?"

"Giving me a leg-up would suffice." Jisoo responded and took her shoes off.

She wasn't joking, huh.

Jennie wasn't going to back down now and opened her palms for her to step on them.

Jisoo slowly placed one foot on top of them, not pressing hard in order not to hurt the other before she stood straight as Jennie held her up against the wall. In the end it was inevitable to put all her weight onto Jennie.

She looked down to see the younger struggling to keep it up.

"I'll be fast." She informed her but she didn't pay her any attention.

She was busy making all her strength flow into her small arms. Her hands were big though, being perfect to hold Jisoo.

Dumb bunny: I just saw Joohyun unnie

Dumb bunny: I told her you might have been murdered

Dumb bunny: We tried to rip the door open but it was the wrong one lol

Dumb bunny: Then they went to your apartment with the kids

Dumb bunny: Just a small update in case you are alive

"Calm down honey." Seulgi soothed her wife.

"I am calm, I'm just worried." Joohyun rubbed her temples.

"Listen, you know how Nayeon is. She has that tendency to be overdramatic." The bear reasoned, handing Joohyun a cup of tea she prepared in Jisoo's kitchen.

"She is pretty dramatic, isn't she?" Joohyun spoke more quietly, being calm enough to sip a bit to calm her nerves.

"Yes!" Seulgi confirmed. "Remember when she faked the death of her grandma because she wanted to bail on us last year? She even organised a funeral while she sent her grandma to Italy for vacation."

"Yes... We would have never found out if her grandma didn't send us a Christmas card." Joohyun sighed. "You are right. How could I ever believe that woman?" She rubbed her temples.

"Because you are protective of your family," Seulgi smiled. "I love that about you."

"Momma!" Yeji called for Joohyun from the other room. "Can I show Jisu auntie's fog machine?"

"Of course sweetheart."

———

"I'm almost done!" Jisoo told the younger who by now was wobbly on her legs. Releasing her from her suffering Jisoo hopped down.

Jennie took a deep breath and blew air on her hands. They were red.

"You really are weak," Jisoo didn't state mockingly, no her voice had a concerned tone. "But well done." She handed her the water bottle and the brunette accepted it.

She was going to fight Jisoo for that remark but first she had to drink some water. Only little was remaining, maybe two sips.

"I'm not weak--" The sentence died on her tongue as she noticed the state the elevator was in. She let go of the bottle, letting it drop to the ground. She didn't realise earlier because she was too focused on the feeling of Jisoo in her grasp. She was scared she would fall if she didn't give it her all.

"Do you like it?" Jisoo asked hesitantly. The other was too quiet.

Colorful dim lights illuminated in the tight space. Like someone turned a disco ball on but more faintly and it wasn't moving.

Jennie looked to the ceiling.

The sparkly foils of the chocolate.

Jisoo stuck them all over the lights.

"Are you now in the mood to dance with me?" Jisoo cleared her throat. "...I guess music is still missing but we could sing." She tilted her head, offering a smile.

Not getting a response Jisoo pulled Jennie towards her body and set her arms around her neck. Instinctively Jennie's hands moved to Jisoo's waist.

They were standing awkwardly around. Jennie touched Jisoo too lightly as if only the tips of her fingers were holding her.

"You can hold tighter, you know." Jisoo whispered quietly. "Or do your hands really hurt?"

Jennie shook her head embarrassed. A blush creeping up her chubby cheeks.

She pressed tighter on Jisoo's hips, making her take a step closer. Now they were close enough for them to feel the breath of the other and see their reflections on opposing eyes.

"It's useless if we don't move." Jisoo chuckled softly. "We are supposed to warm up. Come on."

She tapped her feet back and forth until Jennie followed the pace.

It was still awkward.

"Yeah. It is indeed weird without music." Jennie was finally able to speak, looking to their feet to avoid Jisoo's eyes. "You sing since it was your idea."

"Okay." Jisoo obeyed her command and her heart shaped lips opened slightly to hum delightful melodies. However the elevator suddenly produced music of its own once more as the buttons blinked wildly.

"Seems like we are going to dance to elevator music." The elder stated with a teasing smirk, making the younger grin.

A groovy melody filled the room. It sounded like commercial music. Something that gets stuck in your head for hours and can give you headaches.

"Oh yeah. I can see myself turn crazy if we are stuck with this sound for hours." Jennie muttered. "But thank god it's not a TVXQ song. I might have kicked the door open."

And Jisoo could actually believe her to do such a thing. Although she would most likely only injure her legs.

With a swift move Jisoo squeezed Jennie's left hand, raised it to the air and made her turn elegantly.

"I have absolutely no idea how to dance to this sound." Jisoo admitted. "So let's just do anything."

Their movements went from elegant to silly. At one point they simply jumped like bunnies before they decided to quickly peek their heads out of the left and right shoulder of the other in quick turns.

Then they moved to the ground and tried to breakdance but horribly failed and looked like turtles who couldn't get up.

The move they probably liked the most was something they came up with on a whim. Jisoo moved her arms, circling them over another, so Jennie did the same and then stretched them to the air in opposite direction with a grin, being followed by Jennie.

Afterwards they did it again but this time in sync. Their smiles equally bright.

They decided to call it their "melody dance" since well, they were in an elevator where there was only one annoying melody playing. Somehow they turned that annoying melody into something fun.

In the end Jennie found herself caught between Jisoo's arms. At this point they don't even remember how they got there. It just happened. The close proximity sent tingles all over their skin but they didn't move away. If anything they pressed their bodies closer together if that was possible.

The heart of the other was threatening to jump against their chests. They could hear it very well but at the same time could just blame it to the exhaustion of dancing nonsensically like kids.

Jennie couldn't help but raise her head, looking straight to Jisoo's inviting lips. There was something about them she really liked. Be it the heart shape or the beautiful smile which is always stuck on her face. She felt herself being physically drawn to them.

They were shining red amidst the dim rainbow light in her eyes. Her smile could always blind her to the extent of not being able to see anything else.

She wondered if Jisoo felt the same or if it was only her who felt the attraction and tension but once she looked up to see her dark eyes, her question was answered.

Jisoo's eyes drove from her lips to her eyes. Unlike Jennie who couldn't take her eyes off her lips, Jisoo couldn't pull her sight off her brown eyes.

The adrenaline pumped through Jennie's veins like a flood she couldn't stop if she tried.

Jisoo was moving closer. Although slowly. Very slowly. The reason for her hesitance is, she was awaiting a slap from Jennie, a push, a punch, anything to get her arms away from her waist.

But nothing came.

Jennie was yearning for her embrace, her warmth.

Even after Jisoo was hovering over her plump lips she didn't push her away.

In fact she was the one to capture the other's red lips hungrily. As though she was itching to taste them since forever.
