A few years ago, the Uchiha clan welcomed a new member into their lives: Sasuke. He had his father Fugaku's hair and his mother Mikoto's eyes. He had been named after the third Hokage's father, Sasuke Sarutobi.
His mother and father spoiled him rotten, seeing that Itachi was too busy being the most badass 6 year old ever to exist. His family would soon come to realize why, but Sasuke has a bond with his father that he didn't have with his other family memebers. Whenever he would do something, he would call out to his father to show him and see if he liked it or not. If he didn't, he would try and make it better, and show him again, and again, and again.
After his first birthday, Sasuke became very attached to Itachi's dinosaur plushie, and claimed it as his own. Itachi didn't seem to care. Even though he didn't have very much time to play with Sasuke because he was enrolled in the ninja academy, Sasuke was always at his brother's side. When Itachi would try and leave, Sasuke would cry "Nii - San" and try and throw foam shurikens at him. His mother eventually got worried and tried to find him a friend. She asked a friend in the Haruno clan, Mebuki, if her pink - haired daughter, Sakura, could come and meet Sasuke.
The next day, when Sasuke met Sakura, he crawled over to her, wrapped his arm around her and said "Mine!!!"
Itachi walked in and tried to pat Sasuke and Sakura's heads, but Sasuke swung his arm out at Itachi with protective look on his face, his deep onyx eyes piercing through him. Both Itachi and his Father stumbled backwards in shock. Their laughter quickly faded. Sakura just sat there, sucking on her thumb, to young and innocent to know what his happened. She bursted into laughter. Everyone was unsure about wether or not they should laugh or stand there in shock.
And thus a friendship lasting a lifetime was born.
