Y/n's POV:
"Okay Hoseok, listen up."
The look of pure terror on his face was hilarious. He looked like he just ran over a bunny and now it's suck on the bottom of his tire.
"Uh, yeah. What's up Y/n?" He looked down and played with his fingers.
I placed a finger under his chin and forced him to look at me.
"Don't lie to me. Ever."
I won't deny it, I'm ticked off.
I HATE lying with a passion.
Flashbacks of Yoongi's plan for Hoseok's birthday reply in my mind.
Haha, I such a hypocrite.
I shake my head and try to focus on Hoseok.
He was biting his lip and looking at anything but me.
"Hoseok." He flinched.
"Huh? Wha-"
The door to their dorms flew open, scaring us.
"Y/n? What are you you doing here?"
Jimin.
I wish I could dig a hole and bury myself in it.
Surprisingly being able to sense my discomfort Hoseok wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek.
"Why wouldn't she be here? She is my girlfriend after all."
Was that....jealousy?
I froze.
Does Hoseok know about the kiss Jimin and I shared?
"Yeah, your girlfriend." He stated, emphasizing "your" and "girlfriend".
Words can not describe how I'm feeling right now.
Hoseok scoffed and tightened his grip on me. "Yeah, my girlfriend."
Panick.
"Oh really? Are you sure?" Jimin smirked.
Guilt.
"I've never been more positive." Hoseok stood up.
Vexation.
"I could convince you otherwise." Jimin took a step forward.
Nausea.
Hoseok also took a step. "Enlighten me."
Hostility.
"Enough." I snapped, rushing forward.
They both turned and stared at me.
I gulped and turned to Jimin first, not ready to face the wrath of Hoseok.
"Jimin, get out."
He laughed manically. "You can't kick me out of my own house."
He's right.
"I can. Jimin, get out." Hoseok poked his cheek with his tounge, clearly pissed.
He laughed again.
Hoseok clenched his teeth. "Don't make me repeat myself, Jimin."
"Why does it matter? I'm just going to my room." He shrugged.
Jin walked in but quickly stopped, sensing the tension and backing away.
"I have suddenly lost my hearing, so don't mind me." He turned and scrambled away.
Hoseok and Jimin probably didn't even notice him. They were too busy glaring at each other.
"Jimin, please. Get. Out." He was about to explode.
"But Y/n-"
Hoseok snapped.
"I said get out!" He pushed Jimin out the door.
Never in my life have I seen him abuse his fellow member.
It was horrifying yet hot at the same time.
"Hoseok-"
"Don't." He was still facing the door, but his anger now turned to me.
I frowned and looked down.
He knows.
But how?
"I overheard Jimin and Jungkook talking." He stated, as if he read my mind.
Jimin....told someone?
But he promised he wouldn't.
That dirty little liar.
"What did he say?" I sighed.
"I find out that you kissed another guy, my bandmate, to be exact, and you're worried about what he said?!" In a flash, he turned to face me.
I panicked.
"I didn't do it on purpose! I-"
"I don't care if it was on purpose or not! You betrayed me!"
He was furious.
Make that two of us.
I scoffed. "You know all about betrayal, don't you?"
He took a deep breath.
"One small lie isn't betrayal, Y/n. It's different."
I rolled my eyes.
How pathetic of him. Making up stupid excuses.
"How is it any different?"
He looked me right in the eyes.
"Because betrayal is a reflection of someone's true character. A small lie is just protecting somone you love."
I crossed my arms.
"Not all lies are like that. And once again, I didn't betray you."
He just shook his head. "One."
I raised an eyebrow. "One?"
He stared at me.
"Nothing loses my interest faster than somone lying to me, Hoseok." I spat.
He finally spoke.
"Nothing loses my intrest faster than a cheating snake, Y/n."
A snake.
That's what I am to him.
I tried to stop the tears from coming.
"A...snake?"
He nodded.
"Yes....and I hate snakes."
I definitely needed that hole about now.
"Goodbye Hoseok."
I pushed past him.
Suddenly realizing that he might lose me and completely forgetting about his anger, he turned around.
"Wait, Y/n."
I continued walking.
"Y/n, stop! I'm sorry!"
Don't look back now, Y/n.
"Y/n!"
Don't make yourself vulnerable.
"Please, Y/n!"
Don't burden somone else with your mistakes.
"Y/n...."
Don't show them who you really are.
A snake.
A lying, cheating snake.
That's exactly what you are.
I was pulled back by two large arms and forced to turn around.
Hoseok was on the ground in tears.
And Jungkook was the one with his arms trapping me.
I closed my eyes, not being able to bare the sight of Hoseok broken on the ground.
Jungkook dragged me over to him and finally set me free.
I collapse next to Hoseok and wrapped my arms around his neck, he immediately embraced me tightly.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for accusing you." He sobbed.
"No, I'm sorry. You deserve someone better." I stroked the back of his head.
He pulled away slightly and pecked my lips quickly.
"I wouldn't want anyone but you."
I smiled, tears dripping onto my shirt.
Jungkook smiled proudly at us.
"Everyone suffers at least one bad betrayal in their life time. It's what unties us. The trick is not to let it destroy your trust in others when that happens. Don't let them take that from you."
