Karma pov
"We should break up" I spoke looking Nagisa in the eye
"W-What?"
"It's not working out between us"
All of a sudden he grabbed both my arms in despair
"W-What's not working out between us!? I thought everything was going well! Was it something I did!? Did I offend you in any way!?" He yelled, tears in his eyes
"...."
I remained silent as he cried, waiting for an answer....an answer he would never get.
It took everything in me to not break down and tell him I didn't mean it, that I would never let him go....but I was, I was letting him go.
Father forced me to break up with him.
Of course he knew I wouldn't break up with him that easily, so he threathend me by using him.
As to why he wanted me to break up with him....he didn't want a gay son to run the family business...that's about it, he only cared about the company's image, nothing else
"....."
As Nagisa was breaking down in tears I looked away, I couldn't bare to see him like this
"Please don't go! Don't leave me!" He yelled, now on his knees
"Goodbye" I said, releasing his grip from my arm and walking off
"Karma!" He cried out
I only ignored him and continued to walk away
"Karma!"
As Nagisa kept screaming my name I felt my eyes water, eventually leaking out

7 years later
After 7 years I returned to Japan after being forcefully taken by my father to inherit the company.
I was finally back, but it was only for business.
When I first stepped foot off that plane I couldn't help but think of Nagisa.

As I was walking through the streets of my old neighborhood I began feeling a bit thirsty so I went to the nearest café.
Once I took my order I took a seat and waited for my order.
To pass the time I looked out the window and watched all the people who passed.
"...."
Just then my eyes caught sight of someone with long blue hair, they were currently looking at the flowers at the flower shop.
"!!!"
'Nagisa!'
I couldn't really tell if it was him since their back was facing me.
I stood up about to leave when
"Thank you for waiting here's your order!"
I turned to look at the waiter and was shocked to see who it was
"Isogai!"
He seemed just as surprised to see me
"Karma!? You're back!?"

After telling him as to why I was back he looked down in disappointment
"So you only came because of work..."
"Right"
"...when will you be leaving?" He asked
"In a month"
"....is that why you broke up with Nagisa?"
After hearing him mention Nagisa I hesitated
"....yeah"
"....I'm glad you broke up with him"
"!!!"
"If you two never broke up he would have been miserable, always waiting for you, never sure when you would return, always forcing a smile to show that he wasn't upset"
"...."
"But still...you broke his heart and I hate you for doing that"
"...."
"The day you two broke up he went up to me with tears in his eyes saying that he was worthless and that even you had given up on him"
"It was never because of that! I loved him and still do! Not once did I want him to feel worthless!" I defended
"But you still did"

"....."
"...do you still talk to him?" I spoke up
"...."
I could tell he didn't want to answer
"yeah"
"How is he?"
"....He's fine" he hesitated
I glared at him, knowing he was hiding something from me
"What are you hiding?"
"...Nagisa..he got married"
"!!!"
Hearing those words shocked me
Before I knew it I was out of my seat and grabbing Isogai's collar
"To who!?"
"...Asano"
When I heard that name I slowly released my grip and sat down in shock.
So many thoughts were going through my head.
'He got married'
'So he moved on from me'
'How long did it take him to get over me?'

After I had calmed down I looked straight at Isogai
"Is he happy?"
"I've never seen him happier"
"...That's good" I said before standing up, gathering my things ready to leave
"Will you talk to him?" He asked still sitting down
"...no"
I'm scared that if I see him I'll want him.
I don't want to take away the happiness he was finally able to grasp after I took it away from him.
This is my punishment.
My punishment for not holding on to him.
For not fighting back.
For leaving him.
Once I was out I stood by the side of the street, waiting for my taxi to arrive.
As I was waiting I looked up and was surprised to see Nagisa walking on the other side of the street.
"!!!"
'His hair grew'
I continued watching as he was walking, the wind blowing through his hair.
His long white shorts with a white and blue stripped button up tucked in.
Without thinking I took a step forward but stopped when I saw him stop and turn around
"!!!"
Asano was walking up to him
"...."
It pained me when I saw the two of them exchange a kiss.
"...."
Before I knew it my taxi came.
"..."
I opened the door and took one last glance at them.
They were walking together, hand in hand. Nagisa had the biggest smile on his face as he looked up at Asano with a glow in his eyes

After finally getting to see his face I felt my lips curl up
"Goodbye Nagisa" I whispered and got in the car, driving past them
