for a bike ride.

green leaves
creating a nice
shade.
i could've stayed
there all day.
stopped for a break.
spotting a doe
crossing a pathway
with her babies.
fawns chasing
each other throughout
the field.
with no care to
the rest of the world.
oh how i wish
to know what
that feels
today i feel better
than the night before.
i only hope this
better mood
stretches more.
ice cream after
then straight home
shortly after.
