today was the day before the gender reveal and i had errands to run and zion decided to come along with me and be my chauffeur.
"baby, where are you?" i heard zion yell at the front door.
"i'm in my bathroom." i yelled back. i soon hear him enter my room.
"hey z." i said as he walked into the bathroom.
"hey jenni." he said wrapping his arms around me. "you almost ready to go?" he asked me.
"wait lemme just take a picture first." i said going into my room and sitting in front of the mirror.
"what are you doing?" he laughed.
"i'm taking a picture." i said.
"why did you sit down?" he asked.
"because it adds effect." i shrugged.
"i- okay." he said.
"can you turn off the light too?" i asked him.
"lemme guess, adds effect?" he asked.
"awww, you're finally getting it." i laughed.

"you need help mamas?" zion asked me while i was still on the ground.
"yes please." i said putting my arms out.
"so where are we going first?" zion asked me.
"the mall."
"baby, you have so much clothes already, what could you possibly buy?" he whined.
"i gotta buy a dress for tomorrow." i said. "and i know you wouldn't know what it's like to have a lot of clothes cause you wear the same outfit everyday." i added.
"see, i didn't even do nothing to you to deserve that." zion said.
"well you didn't have to come for my head in those instagram comments." i laughed.
"that's why you got a fat forehead too." he laughed.
"i'm carrying your child, be nice to me." i pointed at him.
"okay baby, i'm sorry." he said before kissing my forehead.
"now let's go to the mall before everything is gone." i said grabbing his hand and leading him to the car.

"jenesis, we've been here for an hour." zion whined.
"i don't know which one i want." i said.
"lemme see them." zion said putting his hand out to grab the dresses. he grabbed them and examined them.
"this one." he said giving me back the nude one.
"you like this one?" i asked him.
"yeah, it'll look good on you." he said. we went to the register and paid.
"where to now?" zion asked as we walked out the store.
"i need to get my nails done." i said.
"and how long is that gonna take?" he asked me.
"like an hour and a half." i shrugged.
"yeah, we're getting food before we go there." he said.
"can we get subway?" i asked him.
"whatever you want mamas." zion said driving to subway.

"what are you getting?" zion said to me at the nail salon.
"i'm not really sure yet." i said. "what color are thinking?" i asked him.
"pink, so it can match the baby's gender." he laughed.
"i wanna do both blue and pink but i don't know what to do." i said.
"how about like a marble type thing?" he suggested.
"that's actually a good idea, thanks z." i said before telling the nail tech what i wanted.
"make only one of them marble and the rest white." he said.
"you're coming in clutch today." i said giving him a high five.
"it's what i do best." he said pretending to flip his hair causing me to playfully role my eyes.
"what else is on the agenda today?" zion asked.
"house hunting if i'm not too tired." i said.
"i bet you're gonna be tired." he said.
"no i'm not." i said.
"we'll see." he said crossing his arms.

"i'm tired." i said as we walked out of the nail salon.
"oh i thought you said you weren't gonna be tired?" zion raised an eyebrow.
"shut up." i rolled my eyes at him.
"don't be mad cause i was right." he laughed.
"it was just a coincidence." i crossed my arms.
"it's not gonna be a coincidence when the baby is a girl."
"boy." i said.
"we'll just have to find out tomorrow." he said.
"i guess we will."
