A silver Volvo was parked out front Monday morning with Edward Cullen leaning besides it. Bella came bounding down the stairs where Katherine stood by the front door looking at her sister questionably.
"Why is Edward Cullen parked out front of the house?"
"Um, he's giving me a ride to school." She stammered.
"He your boyfriend?"
"Is Rosalie your girlfriend?" Bella countered, causing Katherine to glare. She grabbed the keys to the truck. "What are you doing?" Katherine raised an eyebrow.
"It's not just your truck Bella." She rolled her eyes before making her way out of the house. She looked over at Edward who gave her a curt nod. Getting in the truck she threw her bag on the passengers seat. Anxiety crept up on her, this being the first time driving since she got to Forks. Luckily she started working soon, hoping to get a car of her own, or get Phil's old car, her mom and Phil had 3 cars and she like Phil's jeep wrangler that used to just sit in the garage in Phoenix.
Katherine was wary on her way to school but managed to get there in one piece. Parking, a hand instantly hit the window startling her.
"Shit, sorry." Mike Newton stood outside the passengers side looking embarrassed, thinking it was Bella. Katherine got out of the truck. "So you're Bella's sister?" Mike asked causing her to roll her eyes.
"I have a name you know?" Mike blushes.
"Um, right. Sorry...Katherine. Where's Bella?" As if on cue, Edward's silver Volvo came riding through the parking lot, parking not that far from her. Mike was shocked seeing Edward and Bella in the car. Edward walked around, and opened the door for Bella. They held hands as they walked close, up towards the school. Katherine was surprised as well, due to her twin's awkward nature she never had much experiences when it came to boys.
'Good for her.' She thought.
Making her way up Rosalie and her sibling all sat in her convertible, the hood was down, revealing all of them. Her eyes met Alice's first who beamed at her, waving with a toothy grin. Rosalie looks as well, her eyes discreetly checking her out. Katherine was wearing the new top Alice got her paired with dark skinny jeans and her black and white vans. Hair pulled away from her face with loose strands coming down the sides. She was breathtaking.
"Go talk to her." Alice motioned towards the brunette's retreating figure.
"Did you make her your girlfriend yet?" Emmett leaned forward.
"Shut up Emmett."
"Ooh did I strike a nerve?" He half smirked and grinned. Rosalie's quick annoyance diminished as soon as it started.
Alice chuckles.
"Let's get to class." She says, starting to get out of the car, Jasper quick to be by her side. Holding hands they walked with the other students, Rosalie and Emmett right behind them.

Katherine sat scribbling notes in chemistry, Kelly sat next to her since they were lab partners.
"Hey." Kelly whispered. Katherine looked over at her. "What are you doing after school today?"
"My dad's going to be home early today, so my sister and I are going to grab dinner with him." Kelly nodded.
"Oh okay." She turned away.
"I think I'm free after." Kelly smiles.
"You wanna hangout?" Katherine shrugged.
"Sure."
Though Katherine knew of Kelly's crush, she didn't want to be a bitch by blowing her off, they were still friends after all.

Bella wasn't home yet when she got back. She bounded up the stairs, she walked passed her sisters room only to come back after spotting one of her band t-shirts on Bella's bed. Annoyance filled her as she walked into her sisters room. She hated when her sister would take her things without asking.
Her eyes wondered over to Bella's desk. Walking over she casually picked up a book that sat on it. She opened it up and the first words that stuck out were 'cold ones.' Her eyes brows furrowed.
The front door slammed shut. Quickly putting the book back, Katherine scurried out to her room. She tossed her t-shirt into her hamper. Setting her bag down she plopped down on her bed. She heard footsteps coming up. She sat back up.
"Hey Bella!" She called out. A few moments later her sister appeared in the doorway.
"Yeah?"
"Next time you decide to take my stuff, can you at least ask?" Bella scoffed.
"Like you don't take my stuff." Katherine narrows her eyes.
"I don't." She stated. Bella looks at her with disbelief. Walking further into the room she went to Katherine's book shelf, pulling out a copy of Pride and Prejudice then walking over and picking up a pair of black converse, holding them both up for Katherine to see. Katherine glares at her. "Get out." Bella rolls her eyes, leaving the room with her shoes and book.
Katherine groaned, throwing herself back and sighing heavily. She liked those shoes.
About an hour later Charlie came home, early as promised.
Bella came down shortly after Katherine, all making their way to the police cruiser.
They went to 'Sally's Burgers' that night, different from the diner their father religiously goes to when Bella doesn't feel like cooking.
Stomachs rumbling they were all eager to eat, Charlie and Katherine ordering burgers whereas Bella ordered a panini sandwich.
Katherine's eyes wandered outside where the sun peaked through the clouds shining bright causing her to turn away.
Dinner was good, she enjoyed those little moments spending time with family. Bella and her were never that close but she would still fight for her. She's her family even if she's a pain at times.
The ride home contained of Katherine complaining about eating too much and wanting a nap. Charlie agreed.
By the time they got home a Jeep was parked out front with Rosalie in the drivers seat. The sun hasn't fully set but the trees blocked the majority of sunlight out.
Katherine's heart accelerated, her face fighting back a smile. Getting out, Bella have her a knowing look.
"Is that Rosalie Hale?" Her father asked.
"Yeah." Katherine stuffed her hands in her pockets before heading over to the jeep. The window on the passengers side rolled down.
"Get in." She said, her hair pulled into a high ponytail. She wore yoga pants, a maroon sweater and black sneakers.
"Where are we going?" She asked confused.
"It's a surprise."

They were riding down a winding dirt road, it became a lot darker since being picked up.
Katherine was nervous the entire time, Rosalie could hear her heart racing in her chest, to try and ease her nerves she reached over and took her hand. Her hand was cold like the last time, chills coursed through her. Rosalie feeling anxious herself was about to pull her hand away, regretting her actions but Katherine squeezed her hand tighter.
Rosalie turned down another road which lasted about a quarter mile before the car was put to a stop.
"Come on." Rosalie beckoned. Katherine stepped down from the Jeep, coming around front where Rosalie stood holding a blanket. "This way."
Rosalie also held a flashlight to help Katherine find her way more easily.
Before she knew it they came to a stop by a tiny stream. She looked up and softly gasped. There was a large space opened to see the sky. It was supposed to be a clear night and indeed it was. Katherine could see some of the stars and it was beautiful.
Rosalie laid out the blanket on the dirt.
"This should make it a bit more comfortable." She stated. Katherine smiles.
They both laid down besides each other gazing at the stars.
"This is beautiful...thank you." Rosalie smiled softly.
"I know this isn't much of a 'traditional' date but-"
"It's perfect." Katherine interrupted, turning her head to look at Rosalie who looked right back at her.
Neither of them said anything, but just slowly leaned into one another until their lips grazed each other.

By the time Katherine came back home her head was in a whirlwind.
Girlfriend. She has a girlfriend.
"I really like you."
"I really like you too."
She sighed happily, making her way upstairs.
"Where did you guys go?" Bella stood by her door. Katherine shrugged.
"Don't worry about it." Bella rolled her eyes.
"You can talk to me you know." Katherine's shoulders sagged, feeling a bit guilty.
"We went star gazing." She said.
"Your face is red." Bella commented.
"Shut up!" She snapped causing Bella to chuckle, amused.
"Are you guys dating yet?" Katherine avoided looking at her causing Bella to grin. "You are." Katherine instantly shushed her sister.
"I don't need dad hearing!" She whispered harshly.
"I don't think he cares about that kind of stuff."
"Yeah well I'm not trying to find that out right now. Let me have my moment." Bella rolled her eyes.
"Whatever."
Katherine rolls her eyes as well starting to head next door to her room but before she walked in Bella said her name.
"I'm happy for you." She told her. Katherine smiled slightly.
"I'm happy for you too, who knew you'd actually get a boyfriend." Bella gave her the finger causing Katherine to laugh as she walked into her room, shutting the door behind her.
