The match was so intense, so backward and forward, so overwhelming that it was massively hard to tell which way the bloody duel would have gone!

But he surprised everyone, having taken down not just all 3 Egyptian Gods and his favourite monster; Dark Magician, Yugi had proved without a doubt, that not only was he the better duellist, but that he was ready to continue on in his life without Atem by his side.

Upon his amazing victory, Yugi struggled to be happy with it, the young man fell to his knees crying, he fought well, but it was at such a cost that had to have been payed a result of his victory.
This was it, Atem had lost, his soul was free to return to the Spirit World.
With his life points now having hit 0, it was time for Yami to say goodbye to all the friends he had made.

Yami made his way to Yugi and congratulated him on his victory, and that he has done what was best for both of them, Atem can now finally rest in peace.

Suddenly the eye on the door began glowing brightly, Atem stood before it, ready.

"You must now speak your name" Ishizu instructed.
"I am the son of King Aknamkanon, my name is Atem" he spoke clearly.

But for some reason, the door did not open.

"What, why isn't the door opening?" Joey asked, confused.
"I...I don't know" Ishizu responded.
"Did we do something wrong?" Atem asked.

Suddenly there was a low rumbling sound, and in the door opened a small panel.

"What's that for?" Ana asked confused.

Atem went straight to it and his eyes widened in surprise.

"Well, it looks like there is one more thing outstanding" Atem said.

He then stepped down and walked towards Ana, he then stood inches in front of her; all while Kaiba was unimpressed by it all.

"Ana, you've done so much for me, in the past and now- but I must ask you one more thing" Atem said and held out his hand.
"I'll try my best" she replied.

Atem smiled and reached a hand out to pull her pendant from her shirt.

"I need this to enter the other world" he explained.
"You do?" she asked, then proceeded to take it off.
"How unusual, I didn't know of this" Ishizu commented.
"I do Ana, there is an inscription in that panel, for you see it's not just my soul that is passing, it is that of my dear wife, Shanti. I want to thank you for keeping her and my name safe all this time" he said.

Ana smiled and handed the locket to him.

"We will all miss you Yami, don't forget us, wherever you are" Ana asked.
"I'll never forget you Ana" he said, then opened his arms to embrace her.

Atem then turned to Kaiba.

"You better take care of her" he warned him and turned away, walking back to the door.

He slotted in the Locket, and then the door slid open.
Yami stood a deep breath, and took a single step, but was stopped by Tristan, Joey and Tea.

"Pharaoh!" they all called out.
"Don't go!" Tea begged.
"So that's how it ends huh, nice, you think you can just show up and change everybody's life, and then just leave?!" Tristan cried and covered his tears.

That one sentence was enough to bring tears to everyone's eyes.

"What Tristan means is, we don't want to say goodbye" Yugi clarified.
"Exactly, Pharaoh, I know walking thought that door means your spirit will finally be free, and it's all for the best, but it doesn't seem fair! I mean, I feel like we were all just getting to know you, and you were getting to know yourself. And now you're being taken away from us! I know we should be happy for you, but it's really hard when you're losing your best friend and you just don't know why!" Tea cried.

Poor Yugi couldn't stop his tears flowing, he was constantly clearing his little eyes.

"Maybe there are some things we aren't meant to understand, but I know that true friends may be hard to leave, but they're impossible to forget. And even though his stay wasn't as long as we would have liked, we're lucky we knew him at all" Joey proudly said.

There was a small pause of silence, and in that moment you could hear sniffles from everyone in the room.

"Hey Pharaoh- I hate to break the terrible news to you, but you're not going anywhere, cause everything you've given us, stays right here in our hearts" Joey said with a big smile.

Atem turned around and had the same smile on his face as he looked upon his friends, once last time.
He then willingly walked through the brightly lit door, and there everyone could see all those who Atem knew in his past life, including his wife Shanti.
Ana managed to catch a glimpse of her, and the two ladies exchanged smiles as the door finally closed.

"He's gone" Tea cried.

Suddenly then entire shrine started shaking as the Millennium stone shattered into an endless bit.

"We should get out!" Ana screamed.

And with that everyone made a run for the stairs and just about made to the surface in time.

"Well then, now that's over, I suppose we all need to make our way home" Ana said.

With that they followed the Ishtars' back to the boat, then all boarded and retired to their own rooms. There was silence throughout the ship as everyone was taking in all that had happened and the fact that it was now, truly, all over.

As Ana sat in her room, she jumped on her laptop and made arrangements to fly from Japan back to London as soon as she got back.
There was certainly nothing else holding her back in Egypt or Japan for that matter, at least not anymore.

"Ana?" called a voice.

Realising someone was outside her door, she called out to them, permitting them to come in.
To her surprise, Mokuba came in.

"Hey kid, you alright?" she asked him with a smile.
"Actually Ana, not really...I...I heard what happened between you and Seto" he replied and slightly hung his head down.

Ana then walked over to the little boy and lifted his head up.

"It's alright Mokuba, everything happens for a reason, your brother is not...comfortable with our relationship anymore, and I fully understand that, I'm not happy about it, but nor do I blame him. I guess it's just not meant to be" Ana said and stood upright.
"But...but..."Mokuba trailed off.
"Mokuba, hunny, it's not that I won't fight for your brother, but I certainly cannot force him to forget everything and take me back, I'll have a place for him in my heart like no other for as long as I live...but again, I don't expect the same from him- anyway, you need to get some rest. Let Kaiba know I'm stopping by your mansion to pick up my things and leave as soon as we arrive back in Japan" Ana informed him.

Unable to argue with any of this, Mokuba nodded and took his leave.
Soon everyone settled into a restless sleep, come morning they had all arrived at the dock.
They all bid goodbye to the Ishtar family and hopped into Jeeps that took them back to the airport.
On the way, Ana got in one jeep with Tea and Yugi.

"Ana, the Pharaoh told me what happened between you and Kaiba" Yugi pried.
"Yes, it's quite unfortunate" she replied.
"What did happen?" Tea asked, curiously.
"We were a couple, but because of the event's that happened in Egypt, we ended up separating, I don't think he felt comfortable with the whole thing" Ana responded.
"You two were going out- that's so sweet" Tea cooed.
"It was, I love him, but I can't expect him to return that love after all that has happened" she added.

The rest of the journey was silent, and upon arriving at the airport, Ana had already booked a private jet to go home, as Kaiba and Mokuba jumped onto the Blue eyes jet and too made the same journey home.

In a matter of hours, they had arrived back at Japan, Ana wasted no time in jumping in a private helicopter and heading for the Kaiba mansion.
She gave no thought as to where they were or what was happening, all she knew was that she needed her remaining belongings and had to leave for London with a few hours.
The helicopter was left waiting in the yard as she ran up to her room to gather her things which were as she left them.
As she proceeded though the mansion she kept thinking of everything that had happened and how she wanted Seto to reconsider, but he was a stubborn man, so there was next to no chance she could change his heart, let alone his mind.
Finally, at the back door, she opened it and the copter was sitting there waiting.

"Ana!"

Turning around she saw it was Seto.

"Oh, hey, sorry I just wanted to get my things, I'm going now" she explained and turned to leave once more.

Suddenly she felt a grip on her arm, turning her head back she saw Seto had a grasp on her.

"Is something wrong?" she asked.

Seto then reached his other arm around and closed the door.

"Kaiba-"

Seto then held his hand up to stop her from talking.

"Ana, I've been thinking about this, and I've realised, that I used to let you walk out my life, then I had you in my life, and because of my lack of understanding I'm about to let you go again" he explained.

Ana however, wasn't sure where this was entirely going.

"Right...well it's not your fault you feel the way you do" she replied and tried to pull her arm back.

Seto then let her arm go and sighed.

"That is true, however, I would like to propose one more contract to you before you leave" he asked, and then called Mokuba.

"Oh, well I don't see why not, I'll have to add it to my work load" Ana replied.

Mokuba then came running over with a file folder in his hand, he then handed it to Seto.

"Here, let me know what you think of it before you go" he said and handed the file to her.
"What now?" Ana replied.
"It would be best to read the proposal and decide if its worth your time" Seto advised.

Ana sighed and put her shoulder bag down, before taking the file and opening it.
Instantly she gasped and her heart felt like it was going to jump out of her throat, in that file box...was a beautiful, blue sapphire ring surrounded by several white diamonds.

"W...what is this?" she asked, then lowered the box, to see Seto down on one knee.
"Ana I have loved you for as long as I can remember, and I can't bare not being with you anymore, so I want you to please consider this proposal, Anastasia Starline, will you marry me?" he asked.

Ana wanted to speak, but for some reason...not even air was coming out of her mouth, time froze for what seemed forever, but eventually she snapped out of it and pulled Seto up to his feet.

"I assume this is a permanent contract?" she asked.
"It is, and it comes with many benefits, including never walking away from each other again" he responded.
"Well Mr Kaiba, I suppose that all I can say to that, is yes" she responded with a smile.

Seto's lips immediately met with hers as he kissed her so passionately and spun her around.
Upon setting her down, Mokuba came over with the ring, and Seto proudly put it on the finger of his now fiancé.

"Finally" Mokuba giggled.

Ana and Seto chuckled and rested their foreheads against each other.

"I love you" she whispered to Kaiba.
"I love you Ana" he replied.
