The feeling of murder clung to my bones and scraped over my chest. I was loving the feel of power as I watched Victoria being dragged, kicking and screaming behind me. We stepped into the throne room to be greeted by the rest of the Cullen coven, along with Aro, Caius and Marcus. I smiled widely at them as Victoria was dragged to the far wall and chained up against it. Aro smiled at me proudly and swooped down to kiss me full on the mouth. I grinned into the kiss, running my tongue softly across his lower lip. He pulled a little tighter against him, but pulled back after a second.
A low growl sounded behind us but I pointedly ignored it. Victoria started to hiss a string of profanities. She obviously wasn't smart enough to keep the attention away from her. It was almost as if she wanted us to torture her.
I looked at Aro with pleading eyes.
"Can I play with her?" I asked, shooting her death glares that would kill a human. She seemed fazed. I looked back at Aro. He nodded his head.
"Have fun." He said, gesturing toward Victoria. I bounced up to kiss his cheek, then turned to my creator. Her fiery red hair was a tangled mess across her pale face, making her blazing red eyes seem more petrifying. Too bad it wouldn't work on me. I was too strong for that.
I walked towards her, swaying easily across the floor. I thanked my vampire grace again. Bella Swan couldn't have done this. She would have fallen over air.
I reached Victoria and gave her my famous bone chilling sneer. "Time for payback." I hissed grabbing a handful of her hair and yanking her head back. She snarled at me, mashing her pointed teeth near my face. It's a shame she doesn't scare me.
I curled my hand, putting more pressure on the hold I had. Victoria screeched as a piece of her snapped off and ripped a piece of her scalp with it. I carelessly flicked it away from me and slammed my foot down on her leg. Her bone shattered under the weight I was putting on it. I could feel the need for revenge building up inside me. I wanted to torture her. Make her go down on her knees and scream and cry for mercy. For me to spare her pathetic existence. I snarled at her as images flashed in my mind. Her bending down to tear open the skin of my throat. Her lapping my blood up. Her blood stained teeth sinking into my flesh. Pulling more blood to her. My screams seemed to echo in my head. I was going to make her scream just like she made me scream.
I stepped away from her, venom dripping from my teeth and my hands unintentionally curled into fists. I pulled the memory of the pain she caused me into the forepart of my mind. I lifted the terror and feelings of it and smashed it into her. She screamed under the excess. Her body bowed back and her nail/claws dug into her palms and chains. Pain, pain, pain, pain, pain, I kept chanting in my head. I continued with the horrifying feelings until Victoria's body started to give up. Just as she was about to reach the end of vampire life, I pulled it all back.
Happily I spun around and headed for Aro. He smiled at me with pride.
"Good job my angel." He murmured as he caught me in his arms. I nuzzled up to him and he purred contently back at me. Marcus and Caius formed a tight triangle around me. I turned and leaned back against Aro.
"What should we do with the red-head?" Caius asked me, a sinister glint in his eyes. I smiled up at him.
"How about we put her downstairs in the dungeon and bring a few thistle fairies to play with her (I got the thistle fairies from Melissa Marr; she wrote Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, Fragile Eternity and Radiant Shadows. Take my advice and read these books. They are amazing.)?" I suggested giving him my best malicious look. He growled down at me and nodded his head.
"Felix, Demitiri! Get this girl into the dungeon and bring the thistle fairies!" Caius ordered. I smiled up at him and leaned forward for a kiss. His lips met mine in a firm grip and kissed me back hard. I wound my arms around his neck and moulded my body tight against his. He growled at me and released me from the kiss. I giggled as I saw how dark his eyes had gone.
"Will you be joining our beds tonight Bella?" I turned toward Aro and smiled. Before I could answer an agonizing pain filled my body.
I dropped down onto all fours and started to cough up blood. My body heaved as the horror rolled over my spine and made my body shiver. I could faintly hear Aro and Caius cuss and call for the guards. Marcus kneeled down and pulled me up into his arms. I was still coughing up blood but it didn't matter to him. He wanted to hold me, to try and calm the agony. But it wasn't helping. I was starting to see black spots. More blood dripped from my face. Agony, horror, terror, pain filled my vision. I couldn't think. Couldn't feel.
I felt cold arms in case me and haul me up, carrying me to my room. I couldn't take the pain any longer. I let go, falling back into endless pits of black.

Edward

I watched in jealousy as she cuddled and kissed them. I wanted her to be in my arms, kissing me and only me. I watched as she and Caius locked lips. They were kissing with such a passion that it should have been R18 just looking at it. Then Aro asked if she was going to join their beds and I lost it.
How dare he! HOW FUCKING DARE HE ASK MY BELLA TO SLEEP WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was infuriated. The fucking bastard was going to die. But before I could do or say anything something happened.
Bella fell to her knees and started coughing up blood. It was like she was throwing up. But that couldn't be right. Vampires didn't get sick. We never got injured or anything like that. And Victoria never touched her. So why was she getting so sick. I watched as Marcus grabbed her up into his arms and Aro and Caius started calling for the guards. I was frozen. I couldn't move, couldn't think, and couldn't help.
Luckily Carlisle's training instantly kicked in. He rushed over to Aro who was still frantically calling for the guards.
"What's going on Aro?!" He exclaimed, looking at the blood still flowing from Bella, even as she lay perfectly still, almost as if she was out cold. I was stunned. This wasn't happening.
Aro glanced briefly at Carlisle before turning and starting for the door.
"Come with and I'll tell you." He called over his shoulder as he headed out of the room.

Bella was lain on Aro's deep velvet red bedding, her prone body stretched out like a cats. Her clothes were changed to a rather thin black sheer slip with a lace neckline. Her dark hair tumbled over her shoulder in soft curls. Her pale face looked even more paler than normal and her eyes were sunk into her face. I was sitting next to her bed on the cushioned seat applied there. I couldn't stop staring at her. She was so beautiful. How could I have been stupid enough to just leave her? I'm so full of merda.
I lifted my head when the door opened. Carlisle and Aro walked in, Marcus and Caius following them. I knew my face was covered in anguish but I didn't bother to hide it. Aro walked over to Bella and placed a soft kiss on her cheek. She sighed softly and curled toward him. "Aro" escaped her lips. I smiled. She still talked in her sleep. I was a little sad that she didn't say my name, but I suppose I shouldn't be expecting that from her. Marcus went to the bed side table and picked up a sharp pointed knife that I knew was a scalp. That couldn't possibly cut through a vampire's skin, but when he lifted a little higher I saw the flash of colour on the edges. I realised with a start that it was venom. Vampire venom. Of course! How else?! I was a little too caught up in my thoughts to notice that Marcus was making a downward line to Bella's collarbone. Carlisle saw it though and freaked out. He knocked the scalp from Marcus's hand and growled at him.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked, outraged. He was acting like a overprotective father. I wasn't any better. I was clutching the arms of the chair so tight that I was surprised that they didn't snap under the pressure. He was about to hurt my mate! Marcus shot Carlisle an aggravated look.
"We have to cut open her main artery. Otherwise the blood will leak into the flesh and create red blotches." Marcus said and picked the scalp back up. He made a tiny line at the neck and I watched as blood leaked from the cut. Strange enough, the blood still smelled like it did when she was human. But I wasn't thirsty. I couldn't even think of hurting her anymore.
I watched as Aro leaned his head down and started drinking up the blood. I wanted to jump out of my chair and pound in his papery face, but I was held down by Caius who looked like he was just about ready to kill me.
"Watch" He commanded. I obeyed and saw that Aro didn't drink the blood, but scooped it up in his mouth. I only realised this when he grabbed a little bottle that looked like it was a type of snake venom abstractor, and stuck two holes in it. He slowly let the blood pour into the base and scooped up more to fill it another one. He did this until there was no more than a drop left, which he did drink for himself. Caius nodded at him and pulled a pair of stitching needles out of his pocket. He slowly probed the skin around the cut and smoothed the edges together. When they were close enough, he twirled one of the needles in Bella's mouth and smeared it over the edges of the cut. Like magic the two cut flaps merged together. Caius sat back with a satisfied grunt. At this point Marcus came into the room, trailing behind him was the rest of my family.
"I presume you would like to know what is wrong with Bella." He asked and waved a hand at her still form. Carlisle and I nodded our heads at the same time.
"Very well." Marcus said, nodding his head and glancing at his brothers," Follow me."

Marcus leaded us into the huge library at the west wing of the castle. My family and I took our separate seats. Rosalie with Emmet. Alice with Jasper. Carlisle with Esme. Then me, sitting by myself in a arm chair next to a pile of worn books. Marcus looked at me and smiled slightly.
"Bella usually sits there when she is reading. Those books piled next to it are those she never reads but keep close to her. It's strange really." He said and waved a hand at my direction.
I look at the books and pick up the first one. The brown cover was torn and looked like it suffered a hell of a lot. I could barely make out the name of the book on the top. Wuthering Heights. My eyes filled with the tears I would never be able to shed. Bella's favourite. I was snapped out of my pain (only slightly) when Marcus began to speak.
He was seated on one of the high back chairs that were placed on a dais. There were four placed in such a fashion to show the rank. Caius and Marcus at the back as the most subtle gifts. Aro and Bella in front with the most powerful powers. I couldn't believe that Bella was a leader of the Volturi. I could never imagine her killing or maiming. But she seemed to have change way too much for me to even think of her as an angel any longer.
"Bella has been like this from her vampire birth," I focused all my attention on Marcus as he begun the tail of Bella's sickness," We found her in the woods, killing an army singlehandedly that would have been tough work for all of the guard together. Yet she had slaughtered and killed them all within a few minutes. We knew she was gifted so we asked for her to come with us. She was still newborn so we helped her become a civilised vampire, not that she really needed help. But she was a little strange. She would never listen to the piano but would play it. She never asked much of anyone but everyone wanted to give her anything she could possibly want. That's when we realised that perhaps her past had something to do with it. When we first asked she was very evasive about the subject and didn't say much but we wore her down over the months and she finally told us. It took us three leaders and a tremendous amount of Bella's vast powers to keep the guard, and well us, to just run out of Voltera and hunt you down. We hated you with all the fury we could muster. Especially you Edward." I sunk my head. He was right to find me at blame. "But Bella told us not to. She begged us to spare you. And none of us could refuse her. She was our princess. At that point we were almost to agreement to not kill you, but then suddenly something strange happened. Bella started to shake and throw up. We instantly tried everything we could to help her. But nothing we did helped. If we didn't hate your coven so much, me would have went to ask your help Carlisle. But Bella was very sick. She repeatedly threw up blood and blacked out. After 2 weeks she finally resurfaced and we got the chance to talk to her and ask her why. She told us that when she died, blood had leaked over the main organs of her body and the venom was unable to reach them as they only moved within the veins. So, Bella told us, the blood would not be the type for her to feed on. Meaning that the effects it had on her body was disastrous. She reassured us that she was perfectly fine. She wanted to study for a medical grade so that she would be able to remove the blood. We begged her to at least try see other vampire doctors but there was only one. She refused, saying she would rather die than ask your help. You can't really blame her tough. The sickness only happened once in a while so there was no real need of panic. After a while we started to find methods to ease her pain and awaken her quicker. Like that bleeding we did. It removes the blood from under the skin as to not make any marks on her. She's tough. She never stopped fighting against the pain or weakness. But we know that she can't fight forever. It's taking life from her. It makes her hungrier, edgier, and more potent to kill. It's not like she can't control herself on a daily basis, it's just that the sickness is winning." Marcus finished off with a glum look in his eyes. He loved Bella. Strangely this didn't make me mad, it made me feel grateful. They were taking care of her while she was ill. She's not just another toy for them.
"Will Bella allow us to help her now?" Carlisle asked, shooting a quizzical look at me. We both had medical degrees. I nodded at him. I wanted to help Bella. I would not let her die.
Carlisle looked to Marcus but before he could ask him if we were aloud, the door to the library opened.
"Absolutely not!" We turned to see Bella standing in the door. She looked as beautiful as ever. She was wearing a blood red dress. It had a halter top that curved around her smooth neck and then plunged into a deep V at the front. As she strode foreword I realised that the back of the dress was almost nonexistent. The back was bare to the hips were the red continued into a beautiful trail. Her black hair was swooping over her should and her now blood red eyes seemed to stare darts at those who looked too long. With a coy move she flipped a piece of dark hair out of her smoked out eyes with long red fingernails. She looked like the bride of the Devil. But she was still beautiful. Her wine red lips parted to blow Marcus a kiss. He smiled and motioned her over. She complied, gently seating herself on his lap. I growled. Why couldn't she sit in her throne?
