Sawyers P.O.V
We where all in the foyer of our house saying goodbye to Avery, honestly I didn't mind that he was leaving, it means I can go back to caring for Emerson, as selfish as that might sound.
She looked at him momentarily, her eyes glassy
"I love you so fucking much" she said and started to cry, jumping into his arms
She was crying so bad and it was horrible to see
"Don't leave me" She cried once again as my heart shattered a little bit
They stared at each other a Avery stared to cry a little, he really did love her, she really loved him
"I love you so much baby but I'll be back before you know it" he reassured her as she wiped away his tears, I know I said I wanted him to leave but if him leaving makes her cry then I'd rather he stay.
She cried harder and my mom looked like she was about to cry as well.
"I gotta go now baby" his voice came out nearly as a whisper, baby I'll never get used to that
"Love you" She sobbed and hugged him one last time, I wish she was saying that to me
"Love you to, you need me, you call me and I'll be here before you know it" he reassured her and she simply nodded an next thing I know he's gone
After a moment of looking at the door, we look over at Emerson who is sat on the bottom step of the stairs, quietly sobbing into her hands
I sit next to her and pull her to me and I hug her
"Shhh, he'll be back" I said, hating the words that where coming out of my mouth
"I n-need him" she sobbed out and into my chest, holding her felt amazing
"Maybe you do but until he comes back you have me and you have the boys, now you have only 30 minutes before you need to be at school so I suggest you and the boys get going and take your mind of things" I told her my soft tone gradually getting more demanding
She nodded, dried her eyes and got up, hugged me tightly "Thankyou" she whispered in my ear making chills go though my body as her breath fanned my ear, I hate and love how she can do this to me
Emerson's P.O.V
He was gone...for now
"Who you riding with Em?" Ethan asked as we walked out to the cars
I thought logically, Luke would be awkward and I knew of one person who could cheer me up...
"Chris" I said pointing my index finger at him making him grin
"I feel honoured" he joked
"You should" I said whilst climbing into his black, glossy Range Rover sport
Time passes by, me and Chris spent the car ride laughing and singing to whatever was in the radio,we talked about funny drunk or high stories which we both had a lot of
All the boys pulled into parking spaces next to each other as did Chris, he and the others all got out of the cars, but I stayed put and scratched my wrist anxiously, it's something I do and I don't know why
They all stared at me thought the window as I closed my eyes and breathed slowly, holding back tears threatening to escape, I looked up and they where all stood closer to the car looking at me talking but I couldn't hear anything,
the door opened after a few minutes
"Come on sweetheart, let's show em what you got" Chris joked and I laughed quietly
"No tears, only smiles, now come on" He said pulling me out of the car and to the boys
"Right we will all take you to admin and all your classes should be with one of us per moms request and then lunch you sit with us for now" Chris said and I nodded
"Cool, let's go" I said Unenthusiastically
I was walking with Chris on my right, Daniel on my left, and the rest of the boys scattered around me, we walked the parking lot and everyone stared at us and I felt very uncomfortable
"W-why are they all staring?" I asked
"We're kind of popular round here sweetheart" Chris said calmly

"Emerson Davis She's new, can we get her schedule" Jamie asked the old lady sat at the desk
"Of course Jamie dear, hello I'm Mrs Vern nice to meet you and have a good first day" she said way to cheerily for a Monday morning
I fake smiled at her "Thankyou Bye" I said and walked of with the boys
"To locker..." Jamie looked at the sheet "157" he confirmed
"That's right next to mine, I'll take you and show you to first" Luke said, oh yay
I just nodded as he said bye to the boys and we walked away
We walked to my locker in silence, everyone staring whispering things as we walked by, it had been half and hour and I have already heard;

"I'm sorry" Luke blurted out as I shut my locker
"What?" I asked confused
"I shouldn't of kissed you, I just, I don't know" he said running his hand through his hair, sounding frustrated
"It's ok" I said simply
"Wait...What?" He stared at me
"It's ok, you just caught me off guard, I guess I just wondered why" I said truthfully
"Why....why....oh well I intended to get you back for what you did, which was nasty by the way" he started off and I laughed at him
"But then you looked so vulnerable and you confided in me and so I kissed you" He explained, not that that made it any clearer to me
"Oh, right" I said shyly
We stared at each other for a few second "let's get to class, you have English First with me anyways" he dragged me from my locker
I stood there outside the classroom, terrified to go in, they are all going to stare at me and whisper and I don't Know if I can handle it right now.
"I can't" I said stopping bluntly at the door causing Luke to run into me from behind
"Yes you can, come on" Luke said softly taking my hand and pulling me through the door, when we got in everyone's gaze averted to us
"Ah you must be Emerson Davis our new student, welcome I'm Mr Hopes, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself" Oh no, don't think I can do that not in front of strangers whilst they stare at me
I looked up Luke hoping he would step in and help me out which to my surprise he did
"She new what more do you need to know" Luke said to Mr Hopes giving my shoulder a squeeze
"Right, Ms Davis please sit over there next to James, he gestured to a blond haired boy in a letterman's jacket, he screamed Jock and a Player
He looked into my eyes and pulled a smirk that made me cringe from head to toe, all his friends around him looked me up and down like they where trying to undress me with their eyes
"No sir I want her sat next to me" Luke butted in once again coming to my defence
"No Luke she's going to sit where she is assigned to sit" he said sounding annoyed at Luke's defiance
"But-" he started but I cut him off
"It's fine Luke, really" I lied, but I didn't want Luke to get sent out of class and leave me alone so I will just have to try my best I suppose
He nodded and went and sat in his seat, two rows away from me, too far away from me.
I slowly made my way over to James and his friends and sat down I my seat, looking straight forward
"Hey cutie, I'm James Richards" He said turning to face me, I smiled lightly at him but remained silent
"Playing hard to get I see" he scratches his chin. Ignore him Emerson.
"Come on it's rude to ignore people you know" he said and place his hand on my arm causing me to visibly flinch
"Aw it's ok I won't hurt you cutie" but I could only focus on his hand which was making me very uncomfortable, I looked over at Luke who was staring at me, I leaned back so he could see James' hand on me and he tensed
He got up from his seat and came over, ignoring Mr Hopes calls
"Get off her, don't fucking touch her again" he growled and ripped James' hand from my wrist before storming back to his seat
I sat for the rest of the lesson in silence, and James didn't talk to me again but I could feel his eyes brining a hole in the side of my head, making me extremely uncomfortable.
Skip to lunch
The bell went for lunch and I left the classroom, turns out non of the boys where in this class, photography, which I should of expected so I had to do it alone,
I was walking to the cafeteria when someone grabbed my wrists as pushed me against the lockers, not super hard but it still shocked me
I looked up to James and one of his friends,
"Hey cutie, I've missed you" He mumbled whilst staring at me, I looked around for help but the halls where clear
I closed my eyes trying not to shake to much and he kept a hold of me, when all of a sudden his worth was lifted, I opened my eyes to see him on the floor being punched by some guy, whilst his friend had ran off
"Hey you ok Em" someone said, lightly touching my shoulder, I looked up and saw Sam, with Taylor next to him and Jesse was now pushing James out of the school doors after punching him senseless
I nod and sigh in relief for the boys being there
"Y-yes Thanks" I give a small smile
"Come on let's go eat" Sam said gesturing me to follow him which I did
