"Nort, you like Joseph, don't you...?" I asked as Norton choked on his drink
"W-What made you think that?!" Norton slightly panicked "it was kind of obvious" i said playing with the food in front of me
"Are you serious Eli?!" He asked panicked I finally took a bite and shot Naib a glance
"I mean to me, I don't know about Joseph and Aesop even Naib" I said as Naib looked at me slightly glaring
"You are asking me? You realized I have known this man for 20 years?" Naib said pointing at Norton with his chopsticks "I see when he likes someone" he continued
"Please don't tell Ace, he can't know... I see how he looks at him" he said as I remember all the times Aesop came to me and talked about Joseph to me,
But now, seeing one of my closest friends like this because of him... it breaks my heart, not to mention Naib...
Naib is a whole other story, going around, having sex with all the guys in Tokyo, dating me and Jack, all to try and forget about his love for Norton, unlike the other two Naib is just a dork
"So, you aren't telling Joseph?" I ask before hearing a loud slam on the table
"Will you fu*king cut it off, El" Naib says clearly angry, I look at him uninterested and stay quiet, he sat back down finishing his food
I see the hurt expressions on both their faces as I scowl "god you two are pitiful" I say getting up from my seat to wash my plate
I could feel Naib's eyes glaring a whole into my back, I knew it was harsh words I uttered but those two need a push, and I'm going to explode if they don't get together already
I also suspect that when Ace comes back tomorrow he is probably going to be together with Joseph
I sigh going into my room and closing the door as Fuku flew and landed on shoulder
"Hey, Fuku, do me a favor and spy on the kids" I said teasing the fact I was older
She hooted and went out through the small door on my door
I plopped on my bed and closed my eyes
"Hey... thanks about that Naib, you had to do that" Norton said to the lovesick male
"No, it's fine, the topic was irritating me anyway" Naib said sitting on the couch with Norton
There was a small silence before Naib speaks
"Do... you really like Joseph?" He asked, a hurt expression painted on... Well I can see it at least
"Yea... I really do" he said smiling softly as Naib looks at him and open the Apple TV to watch something
I open my eyes and sigh "Fuku, Come" I ordered as the owl flew back into her small house
"They are really hopeless... maybe... just maybe another push will do them good" I said to myself as I picked some clothes
I got my stuff and went downstairs
"Guys, Hastur just called, I'll be spending the night with him, I will come back in the afternoon tomorrow" I said as I see Naib pouting
"Hey hey, aren't you too in love, show me some love here too" he said as I softly look at him and head to him
"Have I ever said how much of a baby you are?" I say smiling and ruffling his hair, he giggles and takes my hand and kisses it, licking my fingers
"Hey," I said pulling my hands away "what did we say about that~?" I asked as he looked away "no flirting or sex for the whole month" he sulked as I laughed and ruffled his hair, looking at Norton, he looked a bit irritated but not much
I went to him and messed his hair up "do you also want some attention" I ask laughing as he giggled and pushed my hands away "don't mess my hair up" he said "well that was the point" I said leaving the house
-Naib-
Eli left... now I was all on my own with my childhood friend or should I say, my crush. I knew he left so that I could make progress but... I don't know if I can on such an innocent boy
"What do you want to watch?" I asked as he shrugged "I don't know, how about...Good Omens? It's on Amazon though" he said as I hummed and opened Amazon prime to open it
"How did you know about it?" I asked writing the name down "oh, I actually read the book" he said as I stopped and looked at him
"Wait... you read it? Then you know everything?!" I said as he giggled making my heart skip a beat "but I would like to see the TV show" he said pouting as I smile
"Fine" I said as it started, I payed down on Norton's lap as Norton leaned on his head intrigued by the show as I smile and turn to watch the show
-one episode later-
"I'll get some drinks, want something?" I asked getting up
"Hmm... the usual I guess" he said as I nodded and went into the kitchen and got some glasses, I opened the cupboard to find the Alcohol in there
I smile as I see Norton come in and sit on the counter "what are you doing here?" I ask starting to mix the alcohol
"Watching a bar tender at work" he said smiling as he looked at me closely
I continue to make his Mint Julep, I finished as I slid it to him and poured my self a shot of Bourbon
We smiled and drank our drinks
-Norton-
I knew how light Naib was with his alcohol, despite being a bar tender, so I made sure he didn't drink too much
"Hey Norton..." he called as I look up from my drink to see him slowly walking towards me
"What's wrong?" I ask as his flushed face comes closer
"Naib...? Did you drink more??" I ask looking to see an empty bottle of wine as I shake my head
"Come on, let's get you to bed" I said getting up as he fell onto me
"No..." he said as he put his hands around my neck
"Kiss me" He slurred as I frown and try to push him away before he pulls me into a kiss
"Mhfff, Stop" I said as I pushed the male away
"Why? Don't you hate not being loved back?" He asked, with a visibly hurt expression, my heart twisted and at his statement
"Naib..." "What?! You are sensitive?! WELL I HAVE BEEN FEELING THAT WAY FOR YEARS!! SO SUCK IT UP!" He shouted, his face went red as I look at him questioningly
"Naib... why didn't you talk to me? It would have been easier to talk to someone about it" I said as he glared at me
"I did! But it wasn't you... you can't help me in this one I'm afraid" the younger male said smiling sadly
"Naib..." I called walking to him
"No! Don't touch me!! I'm tired of this" he cried as I hugged the younger male "you can talk to me" I said as he shook his head releasing from my grip
"Leave me alone Norton, you aren't understand what I'm trying to say" he said covering his mouth, limping to his room.
I sigh cleaning up the kitchen
"Hey, what do you want?" -Eli
"Can't you be slightly nicer?" -Norton
"Anyway, have you heard anything about Naib's unrequited love?" -Norton
"Hmmm... did he tell you? Or?" -Eli
"He snapped at me while drinking" -Norton
Right after I hear that the phone closed as I look at my phone deadpanned usually when he does this it means one of two things
1: I am shaking my head so hard I don't want to talk anymore
2: this is none of my business and why are you calling me about this while I'm with my boyfriend
I figured it might both this time as I sigh
I slowly go to Naib's room and knock twice "what do you want?" He asks as I stay quiet
"I SAID! What. Do. you. want?" He said slamming the door open as I pulled him into a hug "I'm sorry... please forgive me..." I said as the male struggled to get off my grip
-Naib-
My heart was smashing in my chest, my face was flushed, I can't believe this man can do that much to me
"I said. I forgive you, so let go already" I said in a soft voice as he slowly leaned back and smiled at me
"As I said earlier, I'm always there if you need me" he said as I lightly nodded and quickly went back in
"That.... was not good for my heart..." I sigh sliding down the door
-a couple days later-

"Eli—" Naib slurred my name as I hummed closing my phone and looking at him
"Doesn't it feel like we are always alone together like this?" The younger ask me as I looked at Norton and Aesop's rooms
"Yea... you are right... Norton is trying to avoid Aesop I'm guessing?" I said as Naib nodded licking the ice cream off the spoon
"Naib... maybe try and confess?" I suggested as he shook his head
"Never, I am not trying to be hated here" he replied smirking as I sigh and look him straight in the eyes
"Well, if you want to say that, try and not look too miserable" I said as Aesop returned
"What's wrong, Ace?" I ask as he sighs sitting on a chair
"I don't know... Norton just is always ignoring me" he says pinching the bridge of his nose
"If you want I can teach him a lesson" Naib said taking another spoonful of ice cream
"Why? To break your heart, please" Aesop said sighing again trying to relax
"To break who's heart? What's happening here?" Norton asks entering the house
"Oh nothing~" I say in a song song-y voice
-couple months later-
"I swear I'm over him" Norton said as I look at him and shrug
"Then pay attention to him more" I said pointing at Naib who was laughing and talking with Aesop
-Naib-
"Well Aesop~" I continued "I saw this and, congratulations, you really have earned it" I said giggling while tapping his ring as he smiled and looked at it
"Thanks... I got to see a side of Joseph I never thought I would" He said admiring the ring as I leaned in "oooh~ how romantic, what side is it~?"
"He is such a cry baby" he said laughing as I looked at him shocked
"Ehhh? Really~~ how did you know" I asked smiling as he laughed "that is a story for another time, I'm waiting for this" he said touching my ring finger
"To have a ring on it by a certain N o r t o n" he said smiling as I blushed
-Aesop-
"Hey, Naib... do you want... to go on a date... tomorrow?" Norton asked shyly
I could see Naib's mind stopped working "naib?" Norton called again as he snapped out of it and his face went red
"U-umm Yea sure.. of course" he said losing his mind as I smirk and see Eli smirking at them too
"Then... 4pm tomorrow?" Norton asked looking away as Naib nodded
"Ok, good night you two" he said as I smiled "g'night" "good n-night" Naib stuttered as I smile at him
"Well well well~ took you 20 years to finally go on one" Eli said sitting on the table and smirking as Naib blushed and smacked his face on Eli's lap
"I'm dying from embarrassment" he said muffling his voice as Eli laughed and ruffled his hair as we all laughed
