Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé visited an Italian restaurant which is infamous for its pricey food but none of them cared since they had Jennie's card. They ordered tons of expensive cuisine like caviars, lobsters and more. They were chatting and were enjoying themselves in the exotic atmosphere.
"Feels so good to be spending others money" Jisoo said
"I know right" Rosé said
"I can't imagine the treatment you will get after being her girlfriend" Lisa said
"What are you saying?" Jisoo blushed a little and mumbled
"Both of you are going to be together that's for sure" Rosé said
Lisa nodded her head and asked:
"Remind me why aren't you two together?"
Jisoo didn't reply, Rosé sat up straight and asked:
"Do you like her?"
Jisoo lifted her head but she didn't reply, Rosé continued:
"Well if you do, you have to take her down, the Jennie Kim that I know has quite a number of suitors"
Jisoo nodded her head. They stopped the topic and went back to their food.
Jisoo called the waiter for the bill, she passed Jennie's card to the waiter and the waiter took it to the counter, after awhile, she came back and she asked:
"Excuse me miss, is this a black card?"
Jisoo nodded her head and asked:
"Is there any problem?"
"Sorry for asking but does it belongs to you?" the waiter asked
"Nope, it's my friend's card" Jisoo said
"I'm sorry but only the owner can activates the card" the waiter said
Three of them went silent for a moment, after a while Jisoo muttered:
"Are...are you sure?"
The waiter nodded her head. Jisoo gulped and asked:
"How much is the bill?"
The waiter showed her the bill and Jisoo thought she almost got a heart attack. Her eyes widen and she was speechless. Lisa took over the bill and saw the amount, she gulped and said:
"I think we should call Jennie"
Rosé nodded her head, she took out her phone and called Jennie. After a while, Jennie picked up the phone.
"How was your dinner?" Jennie asked
"Did you know only the owner can activates your card?" Rosé questioned
"Yes" Jennie replied
"And you gave us the card?" Rosé asked unbelievably
"Correction, Jisoo asked for it" Jennie said
"Wait so you're not paying for our dinner?" Rosé asked
"I wanted to, but you chose the wrong card" Jennie said
"Do you have any idea how much this dinner costs?" Rosé exclaimed
"Absolutely no, but I guess it must be pretty expensive because you thought I was paying, which I find it amusing" Jennie replied without a doubt
Rosé told her the amount and demanded:
"We're not paying for that! You have to pay for us"
"Tell me one good reason why" Jennie said
Rosé turned and told Jisoo and Lisa:
"She's not paying!"
Jisoo signalled Rosé to passed her the phone, she took a deep breathe and shouted:
"If you're not paying, you can go to the police station to bail two of your best friends and your future girlfriend out because they were arrested for not paying after eating!"
Without giving Jennie a chance to talk, Jisoo hung up the phone.
"Future girlfriend?" Lisa asked
Jisoo didn't reply. Not for long, she received a text message from Jennie. She opened it and read it.
'Try paying now'
Jisoo passed the card to the waiter and said:
"Could you try to contact the bank again?"
The waiter nodded her head and went back to the counter. She came back then and said:
"The transaction was completed. The bank was told that the owner gave you authorisation of the card just now"
Jisoo was full of questions, she asked:
"Is that legally possible?"
"I'm sorry miss but I'm not sure" the waiter replied
Jisoo took the card and thanked the waiter. The waiter nodded her head and left their table. Jisoo was a little shocked, she regained her thought and asked:
"Am I now a legal holder of a black card?"
Lisa slowly nodded her head and said:
"I think so"
She shook her head and asked:
"Why can't I date someone as rich as that?"
Rosé glared at her, Lisa nervously smiled back immediately and said:
"Just kidding"
Jisoo called Jennie to ask about the card but Jennie didn't picked up. Lisa leaned forward and asked:
"How does it feels to be the owner of a black card?"
Jisoo frowned and said:
"Feels unreal"
She collected her mood and asked:
"Shall we go shopping now?"
Rosé gave her a pitiful smile and slowly shook her head, she fake sighed and said:
"Sorry kid, we have a date later"
"We, as in three of us?" Jisoo hopefully asked
Lisa chuckled and said:
"A date, as in two of us"
"But I have a black card!" Jisoo complained
"And I have a beautiful date" Lisa said
"This is a freaking black card! What's wrong with you two?" Jisoo exclaimed
"Well you can buy yourself a few friends with that card" Rosé suggested
Jisoo shook her head and said:
"Just leave"
"Really?" Lisa asked
Jisoo nodded her head and said:
"Yes, but I'm never forgiving both of you"
Rose shrugged and asked:
"Fine, don't care"
They stood up and took their bags. Jisoo stopped them:
"Wait you're leaving just like that?"
"Why not?" Lisa asked
"At least offer me a ride!" Jisoo said
"Nah, I'd rather not" Rosé said
"You know what? Just leave, I'll be reconsidering our friendship" Jisoo said
"Goodbye ex-bestfriend!" Lisa said
Without hesitating, Lisa and Rosé left. Jisoo was totally caught off guard because she didn't expect this situation to happen. She gave herself a few minutes to accept the situation. Finally, she smiled and shook her head. She took her things then called a cab to go back home.
"Mum! Dad! I'm home!" Jisoo greeted her parents as soon as she stepped foot inside her house.
"We're in the dinning room!" Jisoo's mother replied
Jisoo walked to the dinning room and found her parents having their dinner.
"Hey mum, hey dad!" Jisoo greeted
She walked over to give them a hug
"Why did you came back?" Jisoo's dad asked
"Am I not invited?" Jisoo jokingly asked
"Maybe?" her dad answered
Jisoo smiled and shook her head, she explained:
"Well Jennie's parents came back and I thought it's best I gave them some alone time"
Jisoo's mother nodded her head. Jisoo took out the gifts Jennie bought for her parents and passed it to them.
"Jennie bought these for both of you" Jisoo said
Jisoo's mother opened the box and was surprised to see the present, she closed the present and said:
"I can't take this, it's expensive!"
Jisoo's father checked his present and said:
"i think it's best you return it to Jennie, how could a student possibly afford this?"
Jisoo shook her head and said:
"No worries, she's filthy rich"
"That doesn't means we can take such expensive presents from her" Jisoo's father said
"Mum, dad, she owns a black card, this means nothing to her" Jisoo slowly said
"As in the black card?" Jisoo's mother asked
Jisoo nodded her head. Her mother gulped and said:
"Wow"
"Besides, she wouldn't take it back even if you return it to her" Jisoo added on
"Why is she buying us stuffs? I thought she's just your friend?" her father suspiciously asked
"Yeah, just a friend" Jisoo nodded her head and said
"And why are we getting presents?" her mother asked
"I guess she wanted to thank you two for lending her your amazing daughter" Jisoo playfully said
"She can have it for free!" Jisoo's father exclaimed
Jisoo's mother smiled and said:
"Alright, just send her our thanks, go prepare a gift for her too"
"Okay" Jisoo replied
They chatted for a while and Jisoo went back to her room. She tidied a little and went to shower. Her body relaxed down after the shower. She lied in bed and began to read a book.
Jennie was already late when she arrived at the restaurant. She went into the VIP room and found her father and mother already there waiting for her.
"Father, mother" Jennie greeted them
They nodded their heads and signalled her to sit down.
"We've ordered the food already, just ordered yourself if you want more" her mother said
Jennie nodded her head. Her father then asked:
"So, how's school?"
"Fine, nothing much happened"
"Good" her father said
The atmosphere went awkward for a while. Jennie's mother was about to say something when Jennie received the call from Rosé. She called the bank to settle the problem and then turned off her phone.
"Who was that?" Jennie's father asked
"Chae Young" Jennie said
Her father nodded his head and said:
"How's she now?"
"Same as old" Jennie said
She remembered something and happily shared:
"Oh! She got herself a girlfriend already!"
Her parents exchanged glances. Jennie's mother frowned and asked:
"Girlfriend?"
"Yeah, her name is Lisa! She's Jisoo's friend, technically my friend too" Jennie said
"I'm sorry but you're telling me Chae Young is dating a girl?" Jennie's father asked
"Yes, is there a problem?" Jennie asked
Jennie's father shrugged and said:
"No, it was so unexpected"
"You don't mind do you?" Jennie slowly asked
"No as long as it doesn't happens to my daughter" her father chuckled and said
Jennie's heart sank down. She took a deep breathe and asked:
"What if it does?"
"No daughter of mine is dating a woman" her father said
"Oh" Jennie said
"Is there anything wrong sweetie?" Jennie's mother asked
Jennie shook her head. She took out the presents and passed it to them. Her father opened the present and asked:
"Nice watch, from you and Jisoo?"
"Just Jisoo, she paid for them, she wanted to thank you for letting her stay in our house but she was shy and embarrassed" Jennie said
Her father nodded his head and said:
"What a nice taught lady, I'd like to meet her one day"
"You will" Jennie said
The food came in afterwards and they stopped chatting. Jennie finished her food first, while waiting for her parents to finish, she turned on the phone and found a miss call from Jisoo. She texted back:
'Is everything alright?'
Almost immediately, Jisoo texted back:
'Yeah, why did you ask?'
'I saw a miss call from you just now' Jennie said
'Oh yeah! I wanted to ask, am I the owner of your card now?' Jisoo asked
Jennie smiled when she saw Jisoo's text, she texted back:
'What? No! What were you thinking!'
"If then, why could I pay with it just now?' Jisoo asked
'I called the bank and gave you one-time access' Jennie explained
'You mean I can't activate it now?' Jisoo asked
'Unfortunately no' Jennie replied
Jisoo's mood went from excited to disappointed, she texted back immediately:
'Fine!'
'Are you mad?' Jennie asked
'NO' Jisoo replied in full caps
'You're definitely angry' Jennie replied
'I SAID NO' Jisoo replied in full caps again
'Where are you now?' Jennie asked
'Home' Jisoo replied
'Stay where you are' Jennie texted
'Why?' Jisoo asked
But Jennie didn't replied. She excused herself from the dinner. Her parents seemed unhappy but they didn't asked for the reason. Jennie left the restaurant and drove up to Jisoo's house immediately. She stopped by a fast food restaurant and bought a box of friend chicken. She continued her journey afterwards. Before she knew it, she arrived at Jisoo's doorstep.
Jennie took out her phone and called Jisoo:
"What?" Jisoo asked
"Come down now" Jennie said
"Wh-" Jisoo said but Jennie hung up the phone
Not for long, Jennie heard footsteps rushing down and then Jisoo opened the door.
"Surprise" Jennie said with a smile on her face
Jisoo's eyes widen and asked:
"Why are you here?"
Jennie showed her the box of chicken and said:
"Delivery!"
Jisoo's eyes lit up, but she immediately calmed down and whispered:
"Come with me"
Jisoo silently pulled Jennie in and closed the door. Slowly, they crept back up to Jisoo's room. After Jisoo locked the door, Jennie sat on her bed asked:
"Why do we have to be quiet?"
"My parents are home" Jisoo said
"And?" Jennie asked
Jisoo frowned and thought to herself:
'Why did they have to keep it down?'
She got no answer. She shrugged and said:
"I just don't want to alarm my parents"
Jennie nodded her head and said:
"Alright"
She passed the chicken to Jisoo. Jisoo opened it up and happily said:
"Thanks!"
Jennie replied her with a smile. Jisoo went to her desk and started to dig in into her food. After a while, she finally remembered that Jennie was suppose to have a dinner with her parents, while eating the chicken, she asked:
"Aren't you suppose to be at dinner?"
"Yes" Jennie said
"Why did you came?" Jisoo asked
Jennie smirked and said:
"Well my future girlfriend is mad at her future girlfriend"
Jisoo blushed a little and said:
"I said I'm not mad"
"Alright future girlfriend" Jennie chuckled and said
Jisoo went back to eating her chicken and they did not say anything. They were just enjoying each others company. Jennie watched as Jisoo enjoys her chicken, the smile on Jisoo's face warmed Jennie's heart and she smiled with her too. Just as Jisoo finished her last bite, Jennie suddenly sighed and said:
"You know, you turn me on"
Jisoo chocked and Jennie's sudden confession. She coughed hardly and asked:
"Wh-what?"
Jennie looked at her and said:
"Yeah, I meant emotionally, not sexually, but you turn me on sexually too sometimes, but I was trying to say the emotional part"
Jennie frustratedly explained, she was lost in her words, she took a deep breathe and said:
"That's not important, the thing is, you turn me on, both emotionally and sexually"
Jisoo laughed and Jennie's clumsy words, she controlled herself and said:
"Give me a minute"
Jennie nodded her head and Jisoo went to the toilet. She brushed her teeth to get rid of the fried chicken taste. Normally she'd enjoy it but she had plans in her mind now.
She walked back to the room and said:
"Hey"
Jennie lifted her head. Jisoo smiled and said:
"My parents want me to prepare a gift for you"
"And?" Jennie asked
"I prepared this" Jisoo said
Jisoo pushed Jennie to the bed and gave Jennie a smirk. Before Jennie understood what had happened, Jisoo leaned in and started kissing Jennie. Jennie was still confused so Jisoo's toungue easily entered Jennie's mouth. Jennie gave up making her senses and kissed her back.
The kiss ended and they separated panting. Still below Jisoo, Jennie asked:
"That was the gift?"
Jisoo smiled and said:
"Yeah, the feeling of being turn on emotionally and sexually"
Jennie smirked and said:
"Well it definitely worked."
