(Ella's POV)
The whole meeting and deciding which job suited me the most
after almost an hour of waiting
The meeting had finished and they called me in
"Ah Greenbean, We've all decided" Newt said
"Congratulations Greenie wake up early" Minho said
and i looked confused
Newt chuckled
"You're a runner now, Green Bean" He said and I wanted to jump around, Squeal and kiss newt wait what!!!!
I smiled
"I won't let you down" I said and I walked out the small blush creepign on my face after what i thought before pictures of me kissing newt kept poping up in my mind I
eventually found Macey
"hey macey" I said
"oh hey Ella" She said as she stared at the walls of the maze
"what is this place?" She asked breakign the silence
"we call it the glade" I said doing the dramatic hand gesture
"Why?" She asked
what is this 20 shucking questions
"you'll have to find out from Alby, He'll tell ya everything you need to know to survive" I said
"S-survive from what?" She asked j bit my tounge and let out a breath
"We are trapped here in the center of the Maze, We are to survive here as if we where all family" I said
"Why are we here?" Macey asked
"Not sure but there are rules
Never hurt another glader, Don't go out of the walls and trust no one" i said and helped her up
"Why?" she asked
again
"Come on its dinner"I said and pulled her along to Frypan's

Dinner was the usual Mashed potatoes and vegetables, Not that I that I was complaining All of Frypans food tastes
delicious what made me not eat it was Macey flirting it up with Newt
I wast Jealous just concerned she was new to the glade and didn't understand the rules applying to sexual touching
i.e: running your had up his THIGH!!
I scrowled and moved my bowl
"whats wrong Greenbean?' Minho asked me
"nothing just not hungry" I said with a fake smile and walked off towards the homestead
sluching on a log drawing in the dirt the vibe of someone sitting down next me made em shot up knocking foreheads with the person
"Sorry.....................Chuck what are you doing?" I asked
"nothing i just came to keep you company" Chuck said
I ruffled his curls
"aww chuckie you don't have to" I said with ye another one of my signature fake smiles
"Whats wrong?" He asked
"Nothing" I said falt toned
"is it about how Macey was pretty much flinging herself on Newt" Chuck said and I scrunched up my face and stabbed the stick into the groud
"Okay!" I shouted
"El...............You're making a scene" Chuck protested in a slight whisper
Sighing tryign to relax and i smiled then i broke my voice quenched
"I was what do they call it jealous of what was happeneing and I' not sure why" I whispered
Chuck smiled weirdly
"You like him" Chuck said
"what N-no" I countered
Chuck began laughing until he fell off the log I stared at him i felt the heat in my face and I could help but smile pulling out the stick from where i stabbed it in the ground i drew lines in the dirt
"Jeez chuckie how long are you goign to laugh for?" I asked
"No idea but your face is so read" he said through chuckles when thomas came over
"Okay what did i miss?" He asked
"chucks having a laughter fit" I said with a smile
Thomas smiled the cocked an eyebrow at Chuck who was laying on the ground I sofly smiled and walked off.
I was alone until Macey came up and hugged me
"Thank you El!!" She shouted
"what?" I asked
"Thank your for introducing me to everyone Newt especially" She said again
I fake smiled
"No problem its the rules showing shank greenies around " I said praying he didn't understand glade speak
She smiled an skipped off to the british boy
I snarled at how the locked lips I wanted to primarily gaga and glade slang cuss them off
but i sighed and mumbled 'slintheads' and found minho
"Hey El'pepo" Minho he said cringed at the nickname he gave me
"Hey Min-Hoe" I said and we laughed he was like my gay best friend the didn't take offense to anything
"So what sections are we doing tomorrow?" I asked
"You with Thomas now, ad you two will be doing section 7" He said and i nodded
"See ya Hoe!" I said with a smile
"You too Whale" i gasped for dramatic effect and then ran off towards the homestead

Sleep I didn't get much but i got enough to be wide awake and ready to pounce on the section of the maze Im suppose to do with Thomas, I slipped into my black combat boots trying to fix my hair even though i couldn't see it All I know is that its black.
I walked out and everyone seemed to be crowded around something i jogged over pushing past people to see
what I saw was abruptly terrifying
Alby held up a box of tampons and the guys looked confused as fuck
Macey was a bright shade of red and i was trying not to burst out laughing
"What in the shuck are those?" Minho asked
I coughed
sighed and began to talk
"they're tampons" I said standing up where Alby was grabbing the box and opening it pulling out the small thing shaped like a bullet and wrapped in plastic
Macey stood up with me holding a tin cup of water
i slowly unwrapped the tampon all eyes on the two of us
"This is what it looks like put of the wrapping, so here is how they work......" I said and dropped the tampon in the cup of water and within seconds it ha imploded to a huge size
"What the shuck!!!" Almost all of them yelled
I burst out into laughter shucking klunk heads Macey joined in we were he centre of attention for a good couple minutes before Alby said back to work and stuff.
"see ya later Mace" I said ad she hugged me
i ran off towards Thomas and Minho that whole seen had wasted precious time to figure out this shuckn maze there was noway we could get it done in time instead Minho made us run around the perimeter of the glade 5 times.

Minhos time waster practice wasn't as bad as I thought but i couldn't say the same for Thomas poor guy looked like he was about to faint
I grabbed hime and myself a water and sat down next to him
"Thanks" He said sculling the water
I smiled
"Just looking out for my friends" I said
Thats all I thought if everyone as my friends and as if it was my job to protect them mainly Chuck, Thomas, Minho, Macey and Especially Newt
possibly crossing Macey off I smiled And Yawned and let on Thomas's shoulder.

when I had woken up I was back in the homestead and smiled as if Thomas Had taken me back her I got out of bed Yawning an stretching when Kapow Splitting headache I stumbled out if bed when everything went dark.
