Today was the day.
The day he would kiss the boy of his dreams.
Mack had dreamt of this day.
He'd had nightmares about the bad things that could happen
And daydreams of the good things.
He'd sent a message to the other boy.
It said to meet him at the green hill at midnight.
So now all Mack could do was wait.
Wait for the last two hours to go by before leaving to the place that could permanently chance him.
For better or for worse.
Mack hoped to God it was for the better and not the worse.
He didn't have pockets large enough to collect the broken shards of his heart if he lost Danny.
Losing Danny would mean that even if his heart was fixed,
It would never be the same.
