Dark, twirling
Always changing
Never the same.
Stretching razor thin
Shortening and thickening
Becoming strong or weak.
Follows wherever I go
Walking on its brethren
Being stomped on back.
Tall or short
It's always there
It never leaves.
My shadow will always be there.
Even when no one else is.
