Madison's POV

I sat in my school seat and wrote
y/n's name in different fonts.
I loved her.
Like, a lot.
I didn't talk to her much because I was really nervous around her.
I wrote her name for the fifth time in my notes, until the desks started to shake.
My teacher told all of the students to hind under our desks.
We all heard and felt giant feet stomping around the area of our school.
I got my notebook and pencil that fell already.
I wrote:
Before we all die I want you to know that I love you so much. I will never stop. I never did stop. I would kill myself just for you to live. I love you

I threw the note to where she was hiding.
She smiled and crawled over to me.
" I love you too."
She smiled.
I leaned in and kissed her.
She cupped my face.
"You guys are having a make-out session when we're all about to die?!"
I random kid yelled.
I continued to kiss her and gave the kid the middle finger.
"Madison, y/n detention!"
Y/n stopped kissing me.
"Are you dumb? We're in an apocalypse and you're trying to send up to detention? I hope you die first."
"Damn."
I said.
"Sorry."
She chucked and kissed me again.

Me and y/n sat in hospital beds that were right next to each other.
We were the 2/9 people that survived.
"Do you still love me even though we didn't die?"
She asked.
"Of course."
We smiled at each other.
What a great way to (not) die.
