"okay i'm done for real this time," naomi said. she'd thought she was done after she finished packing her makeup, but then she realized she'd forgotten to pack shoes.

at this point, brandon was done with the idea of thrifting. he'd gotten up just to sit back down too many times. naomi yanked on his arm as she tried to pull his lazy body about of her bed.
"brandonnnnnnn," naomi complained and finally with a lot of whining, brandon managed to get up.
"are you actually sure that you're done packing now," he asked her.
"i am one hundred percent positive," she replied, still holding his hand as she led him out of her room.
"yeah right," he responded. he sped up to walk beside naomi, instead of her dragging him along.
"i'm serioussss. now which thrift store are we going to?" naomi asked brandon. their hands were still intertwined as the walked to the car.
"let's just go to the goodwill down the street," brandon replied as he began to swing his and naomi's arms back and forth.
"if we're going to that one we may as well just walk," naomi said as her hand squeezed brandon's gently.
"then let's walk."
