Hayes's pov
I turned on the TV and I saw....oh lord...George Thompson, Kylie's dad, on the news for breaking out of jail. oh god, he could find kylie. I swear if he touches her I will beat him. oh calm down hayes, he doesn't even know where she is. "Hayes why'd you leave" Kylie asked while walking into my room. I quickly hit 🔛so the TV would go off. "uh I just needed a shower" I said.
"Why are you sweating" she coming over to me. "what, I'm not sweating if any body's sweating your the one sweating" I said. "hayes whats going on" she asked. "nothing! something's I just can't tell you" I yelled. she stepped back in fear. "I'm sorry babe, I just cant tell you" I said. ''why? why can't you tell me hayes'' she asked. "because it will hold you back from a lot of things" I said. "did someone get hurt" she asked. "someone might if what I think will happen, happens" I said.
"O-ok" she said. she sounded heart broken. "are you okay" I asked. "yeah sure" she said and turned around so I couldn't see her face. "No your not, Kylie, tell me whats wrong" I said grabbing her wrists. she yanked away from me and walked out the door. "nash I'm going to take a stroll around the park" she said. "why, did hayes do something" he asked. "no" she said and shut the front door.
I went after her. "where did she go" I asked nash. "to the park, what happened" he asked. "nothing its fine" I said. "o-k" he said. I went to the park and found her in our tree. she was just setting there looking at the people below her. "kyles" I said climbing up the tree. "come here baby girl" I said side hugging her. "why did you come here" she asked. "to find you, ask you why you left" I said. "I left because you had shown me a side of you I didn't know you had" she said. "I'm sorry, but some things are better left unsaid" I said.
"oh okay, well since your here how about we go get smoothies from the food court" she said. "ok lets go" I said. I got down and then she sat there. "you coming" I asked. she put her arms out. "catch me?" she asked in a question type-way. I stood under her and she jumped. I caught her bridal style. "damn your strong!" she said. "Why thank you babe" I said."haha" she said as I put her down.
We made it to the food court and we ordered our smoothies. when the guy brought it out, he put mine on the counter in front of me and then handed Kylie hers. "uh thanks" she said but didn't smile. "anytime beautiful, hey you should call me sometime" he said. "don't hold your breathe" she said. then she started to turn around but he yanked her back. he slapped her in the face.
"You Bitch" I said and pushed him back. I helped Kylie. "lets just go" she said in pain. "are you ok babe" I asked. "yeah" she said but I could tell she wasn't. "not your not" I said. no comment. we got to the house and I told Kylie to go to my room and I would be there in a moment. She did and I sat on the couch by nash. the kids were taking naps so it was just us.
"Hey nash, I have to tell you something" I said. "what" he said. "well I know that kylie didnt want me to share this with anybody but I think it's fine with you, she told me that her dad abused her and her mom when she was eight and that was how the twins were born, that is also why he went to jail. the point is, I saw him on TV for breaking out of jail, that's why Kylie needed space, I wouldn't tell her.
