At around 3am or so, Jimin started to stir in his sleep.
It was most likely the way Jungkook was breathing heavily against his neck. Or maybe it was the way Taehyungs legs were wrapped around his own. It was a lot of body heat to be surrounded by.
As carefully as he could, Jimin slid out from their embrace and waddled towards the door. Looking back at the pair he marvelled as just how beautiful they both looked. Jungkook was resting on his side, his mouth slightly open and he looked way too cute. Taehyungs hair was all messed up, and now that Jimin was gone he was spooning the duvet instead.
Just looking at them made him feel so incredibly lucky. How did he ever get to do this?
Jimin tip toed downstairs into the kitchen to get something to drink. His throat was sore and he really needed something cold. Also he was really trying to avoid a hangover.
"Oh! Hyung, I'm so sorry I didn't know you were here". Jimin said when he almost bumped into Namjoon. The elder was sitting by the table, head hung low between his arms.
"Naaa, it's okay Jiminssi. I was just getting a drink".
"An alcoholic drink?" Jimin asked, pointing to the cup by Namjoon. The nod confirmed his answer. "It's a little late for that no? Everyone is asleep".
Namjoon gestured with his hand and shook his head "Nah. I wanna enjoy it while I can. We don't often get to drink".
Finally the silver haired boy lifted his head to look at Jimin. He shot him a smile and that in turn made Namjoon smile back, all happy and very tipsy.
"You're cute you know" Namjoon said, nonchalantly.
"So I've been told" Jimin teased with a giggle. He sat himself next to the elder and carried on watching him with a smile.
"How are you Ji..whoa, Jimin? Tell me how you are. How are you?"
"I'm good hyung. I had such a good time tonight. But at the same time I'm also quite sad. I'm sad to be leaving tomorrow. It's been a privilege hanging out with you guys. And I'm gonna hate not being able to hang out with you all". He sighed to himself sadly, and thought about the fact that in some time he's going to have to leave to go back to his hotel to pack.
Namjoon pouted a little and placed his hand on Jimin's knee "It's okay. I'm sure our paths will cross again some time soon. I don't think V-ssi and Jungkook-ah will allow you not seeing them for ages you know?"
Jimin felt a blush creep onto his cheeks. "I hope so".
"How is it going with you lot?"
"Really good hyung. I-I..." was he really about to share how he felt with Namjoon? Perhaps he wouldn't really remember this conversation seeing as he was drunk "I have enjoyed spending time with them so much. It's crazy. And I really like them. Both of them. I think maybe possibly, if I was around more it could turn into something? But honestly even now I'm taking what I can get. I feel really lucky. I'd love to continue. It's hard I know. We live in different cities and you guys are so busy. But if I could do this all the time I would".
"You really like them" Namjoon said with a smile.
"I really do. I really really do".
"I'm glad. They're my brothers. They can of course do whatever they want but they always rely on the help of everyone else. They like knowing what we think. I always ask Hoseok if I need help and that's just how it wa..-works here. I'm protective of them. Of everyone. And I wouldn't keep quiet if I thought they were doing the wrong thing. I've not said a word to them about you. Because I see how much they like you. The way they look at you and talk about you too"
"Really?"
"Ay, Jiminie, when they wanted you backstage they begged me to let you get taken back. I get it must have been some intitial attraction, they wouldn't bring just anyone down. But they spoke about your energy and how it would be nice to see if you're cool. And hey look, it turns out you're amazing. We're all happy with this. Yoongi doesn't look it, but he approves. So just carry on doing you, hm?"
The slurring made it hard to keep up but Jimin was so grateful for his words. It was so lovely to hear that everyone was happy.
"And they will sulk when you leave. We'll help them with it, don't worry. We'll see you soon again I'm sure. You're good, okay?"
"Okay. Thank you. So much, hyung".
"Don't mention it. Now can you pass me that orange?"
"That's an apple hyung".

The next day Jimin had to leave around 11am to get back to his hotel to pack. So he said goodbye to all the members
"Don't be afraid to keep in touch" Jin said.
"You better get that job back home full time for the next few months so you can come down here for that dance school!" Hoseok added, whilst hugging the blond.
Yoongi gave his typical awkward one armed hug and told Jimin it was great to see him again.
Namjoon had to squint under the harsh light. Man he looked like shit. He drank way too much. "Jiminssi" he said, motioning for him to come to over for the embrace. "Be good. Be you. And we'll see you soon".
The two youngest members of course decided to drive back with Jimin to the hotel as well as the train station later. They waited in the car whilst he packed since they knew that if they stayed up there they would get distracted. Jungkook did also threaten to tie Jimin up to prevent him from leaving.
Back in the car now, Jimin sat himself between the two, and they sat in silence for a majority of the drive. He didn't really know what to say. He didn't want to make it awkward by telling them just how much he was going to miss them. But it was true.
"Text us" he heard Taehyung suddenly say. His voice was low and deep, but he was still looking ahead rather than Jimin. "Whenever".
"And don't think you're burdensome. You're not. Cos we'll text you first and tell you off" Jungkook added. Their fingers intertwined and Jimin stared at their hands.
It took him a moment before he was able to speak, "I'll text. I-I...I'll really miss you guys". It came out a little shy and barely above a whisper but both boys heard him. Jungkook and Taehyung made eye contact and looked almost sad, before looking back to Jimin.
"Look at me" Taehyung said, placing his finger and thumb under Jimin's chin to force him to look up, "I will miss you. And I will see you again. This isn't just a bit of fun for me. I want to keep getting to know you. Okay, pretty boy?".
Jimin bit his lip and leaned in to close the distance between them. His pressed his lips softly against Taehyung's. The kiss quickly became firmer, and more needy. Like they didn't want to let each other go and stop. Jimin made sure to give Jungkook's hand a squeeze, whilst still kissing Tae. He let Tae's tongue enter his mouth and the kiss got even more heated. When they pulled away both were breathless, and looked at each other through hooded eyes.
Jimin made sure to turn quickly, and practically smashed his lips against Jungkook's. The younger wasn't expecting the sudden heat, but he took no time in reciprocating. His other hand ended up on the back of Jimin's neck and he held him firmly in place whilst they shared a kiss. It was heated from the start and Jimin couldn't help but let out a little moan.
Taehyung bit his lip to stop himself from making any noises himself. Listening to that made him want to react. When the two pulled away, Jungkook rested his forehead against Jimin and gave him a breathless smile.
"I'll definitely miss that".
Jimin grinned back, "Getting them in while I can. I won't be able to at the station".
And just as Jimin spoke the words the car pulled into the station. You could see how the atmosphere changed back to sad. Immediately Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jimin and brought him in close, pressed right against his chest. "Have a good journey back. You better get your ass back to Seoul soon".
But they all knew it would be months before he would be down anyway. If the plan worked. If Jimin managed to go full time back home.
They shared one more, softer kiss before Jimin was in Jungkook's embrace instead. Maybe he needed to be realistic about this. If the plan failed it could mean he would never need to be in Seoul. Which meant he wouldn't see the boys. It sucked and he hated to admit it but this could be the end of the most amazing time of his life.
Jimin let out a shaky breath against Jungkook's chest and willed himself not to cry. Not now. Not in this moment. "You be good" Jungkook whispered with a sad smile. "And don't turn back when you go, or I will actually kidnap you".
"I'll miss you" Jimin addressed the duo once he was out of the car. He waved in their direction and then started walked toward the station, following Jungkook's instruction he didn't turn. But fuck he did want to.
Only when the car drove off did he turn to look back.
