I feel horrible.

Andi:
I did.
Of course I had to reject him.
He kept asking for a chance but
we both knew it wasn't happening.
I just wished I didn't hurt him like that.
His eyes were so sad and hurt
but he was forcing a smile.
He was about to cry so he excused
himself to go the toilet. He came back a
few minutes later and told me he doesn't
think we can be friends anymore.
He said maybe someday when he's
moved on from his feelings for me.
I hate myself right now.

He can't force you to be in love with him when we all know you're not. You made up your mind and he has to respect that. In return, you should also respect what he wants even if that means not being friends anymore. You're feeling guilty because you care for him. Just not the way he wanted.
