"Say, All Might? If All For One touches me, could he take One For All without my consent?" Midoriya asked as they were training.
It was private training, only held in the evenings when all other classes were over. No one knew about it except for those who knew about One For All. Izuku had decided he couldn't let his mother go alone. Not to see that man. He had to support her every way he could. So if that meant facing his father one last time, so be it.
"Well, no" All Might responded.
"He might be the one who originally created the quirk, but since it developed so much through the years he isn't able to take it away or give it to someone else. Why do you ask?"
"Oh... Just because" Midoriya lied.
"E-ever since his final wish I've been thinking about it you know? He is the reason One For All exists, right? S-so if he's gone-"
"You can still be the best hero you can be!" he exclaimed showing off his muscle form for a few seconds before transforming back while coughing blood.
"All Might! Are you okay?!"
"I'm fine, young Midoriya" he coughed, waving it off.
"Besides, I'm glad to see that All For One will soon be no more. It's one threat less and One For All will keep to exist through you, young Midoriya! You will one day pass on that power to someone you believe is right and the cycle continues"
"B-but what if this power falls into the wrong hands? What if...the holder turns evil?" Izuku whispered, voicing his biggest fear. The fear of turning into his father.
"Do you think you will chose the wrong person?" he asked in return.
"I don't know... What if someone already has?" he whispered, barely audible.
All Might had heard it but thought he didn't hear it well so he ignored it. Was Midoriya really doubting himself? Was he tempted to cross over to the other side? He had a hard time believing that. Deku sighed, looking up at the sky.
It was Wednesday today... Yesterday he had told his mom he accepted the terms and agreed to see his father. Tomorrow he would be picked up from school and brought over to the highly guarded prison where All For One was kept. Their identity would remain unknown to the public, as they requested.
He wondered... Will All Might be there? In that case he better tells his idol beforehand so they wouldn't cause a scene or something...
"Hey All Might, I was wondering-"
But the man already vanished from sight. He was cleaning up after their mess and Deku sighed.
"Training is done for today! Go back to your dorm and get some rest"
"Okay" Midoriya whispered and forced a smile.
"Oh a-and I won't be at school tomorrow, just so you know"
"Why not?"
"Dentist appointment" Izuku lied. It was the same lie he told his class and the same lie the teachers were told by the principal, who was now up to speed with everything. The police had come to inform him and after that he had spoken to Inko.
Due to the rather unique circumstances, Izuku wasn't expelled or suspended from school for lying about his background, which he was happy for. That would be the last thing he needed right now...
"Ah yes, got to keep those teeth clean young Midoriya!" he smiled.
"See you the day after then"
"Yeah, bye All Might!" Deku smiled, running off to his dorm. The sun had just gone down, meaning his class was probably already chilling downstairs. Luckily he left his window open so he would be able to sneak in through there. He powered up, jumping and reaching for the open window, falling through the curtains onto his bed, or so he thought.
"Watch out where the fuck you land you stupid nerd!" Kacchan cursed, pushing him off of him.
"Kacchan! W-what are you doing in my room?" Izuku asked confused.
"Waiting for you, what else?" he grunted, putting his phone away.
"How was training?"
"Good, All Might says I get stronger every time he sees me" Midoriya smiled.
"So, ready for your big day tomorrow?" he asked uncertain while Deku closed the windows. He sighed, turning around to face Katsuki with a small frown.
"Honestly? I-I don't know"
"Hey, come here" Kacchan whispered, pulling him in a hug from behind and kissing his cheek.
"You'll do great. I believe in you"
"Thanks, that really means a lot to me" he said with a weak smile.
"Guess I should take a shower, I reek"
"Well, I wasn't gonna say anything... But yeah, you stink big time" Bakugou stated, letting go of him.
"Hey!"
"Do I save a spot for you on the couch?" Katsuki asked, totally ignoring Midoriya's offended response.
"I'll be down in half an hour" Deku mumbled, acting like a small child.
"Oh what? Are you hurt because I said you stink?" Bakugou 'pouted'.
"Ya big baby"
Kacchan started tickling him and they fell onto the bed once more.
"Kacchan! Stop that!" Deku laughed, squirming under him.
"I expect you downstairs in half an hour and not a minute more, alright angel?" he asked, pecking him on the lips.
"Y-yes, okay" Izuku blushed, looking away. Kacchan smiled victorious and got up.
"B-before you go-" Deku whispered, making the blond stop.
"I-I need you to promise me something"
"Anything, you know that" Bakugou stated.
"Whatever happens tomorrow... Promise me you'll still love me" Midoriya demanded. He couldn't help but feel his father had an ulterior motive for wanting to see him and his mother again. He had no problem leaving them in the past so why did he want to now? It didn't make sense to Izuku. Therefore, All For One must be cooking up some secret plan. And until Midoriya finds out what that is exactly, he can't be to careful.
"What's going to happen tomorrow except you seeing All For One chained up in a chair?" Kacchan asked confused.
"Just promise me!" Deku cried out.
"P-promise me you'll still love m-me!"
"Fine. Yes, I'll still love you. I always will, until death do us part and some other crap. Now go shower and stop being such a drama queen"
Katsuki said it all with a smile, showing Deku he didn't mean to insult him but rather tease. Midoriya nodded, tears shimmering in his eyes.
"T-thank you"
"Whatever nerd, just hurry up" Bakugou muttered, leaving the room.
The blond couldn't help but feel like something terrible was gonna go down tomorrow. Maybe it was just Midoriya's nervousness rubbing off on him? Yeah, probably. He shook his head, trying to forget about it. Deku had acted strange though... Nah, he was just nervous. The little broccoli would never hide things from him.

Midoriya breathed in deeply, his mother placing a hand on his leg as if on instinct.
"It'll be alright sweetie, you'll see" Inko whispered. They were in the backseat of a fully blinded black car, surrounded by four other police cars to guide them safely towards the prison.
Since it leaked All For One was meeting his family for his final wish, people had been trying to find out who they were. The only thing the press knew was that it was a woman and a child. His child. Many people wanted to know just to ruin their lives. To hunt them down and kill them. To recruite them into villainous organisations even. It was mad.
'This is exactly why no one must ever know' Deku thought.
"I'm nervous too" Inko said with a forced smile.
"But this is his last wish Izuku. And he wants to use it to see us. That means something, doesn't it?"
"He's not a good man mom" Midoriya stated, looking her in the eye.
"H-he's evil! How can you even talk about him like he's just a regular person?! He's a monster!"
"Izuku!" she gasped, but deep down she agreed with her son.
Inko had married a monster. She'd made a mistake. A big mistake. But she didn't regret having Izuku. She would never regret that. Her son was all she had right now, the center of her world. He was the sun in her life and she wasn't about to let his father ruin his future.
"No matter how bad their actions are, people are still people. And you're father is still just a man" she stated on a stern tone.
"He's not some invincible evil monster, just a really bad man who will soon be punished for his crimes. You should always see that difference Izuku"
"Yes mom... I'm sorry" he whispered, looking out the window.
It won't be long now... Soon they'll arrive at the prison. Soon they'll be face to face with All For One. The father of Izuku Midoriya... Deku swallowed the lump in his throat and closed his eyes, slowly breathing in and out.
Everything was so fun and light at the breakfast table this morning. Everyone was joking around and teasing Deku with his dentist appointment. Some people brought up All For One and his meet up today but Bakugou had managed to swiftly distract him from that. How he wished he was just in Kacchan's arms right now...
"We have arrived" the driver said as he came to a stop. Only a few seconds later, the door was opened for them. Izuku noticed the reporters trying to sneak a peak of what All For One's family looked like. Well, ex-family, not that they cared about that detail. Luckily Izuku and Inko were quickly covered by some kind of mist, allowing them to see the world but not allowing the world to see them.
From the outside they seemed invisible while from the inside you could see the soft sparkling effect of the misty blanket. It was a quirk of one of the officers, who was specially hired for this kind of work. Deku glanced at the man in front of them, the one creating the mist. His hair was a soft shiny white, sparkling with the same glow as the mist. He couldn't see his other features from behind though.
"Thank you so much officer" Inko smiled as they reached the gate, shaking his hand before she walked inside.
"Just doing my job" he answered as Izuku shook his hand as well. 'He disgusts us' Midoriya thought. He could see it in his icy blue eyes. As they walked through the halls under heavy protection, Deku could hear the guards whisper behing him.
"Isn't that the kid from the Sportsfestival?"
"Yeah, the one who broke his hands" another commented quietly.
"How could UA let someone like him enter in the first place?"
Midoriya clenched his fists, keeping a straight face, trying to ignore them. He was suppressing his tears as they stopped in front of a heavy armoured door.
"You may enter and talk to him but are forbidden to touch him or come within a meter radius from the prisoner" the head of guard stated.
"You have twenty minutes"
The door was opened for them and sure enough there he was, All For One. Chained up to a chair, unable to move or use his powers. Izuku noticed the mirrored glass on the right side of the wall. People were watching them. Of course they were...
What he didn't know was that a cup of coffee was just spilled, shattered to the ground. What he didn't know was the one that dropped it was no other than All Might himself. That the retired hero used his contacts to be able to see these final moments, to see if All For One had any humanity left in him. How could he have ever guessed that the spawn of that beast was his own successor?
"Hello Akio" Inko started, her voice neutral, not showing any emotion. Akio Otsuka. The real name of All For One... Izuku never refered to him with that name though. Akio was the man who married his mother, the man who had been his father for one small year. But that man died when he turned on them. When he fled back into the shadows as All For One...
"Hello Inko... It's been so long, my love" he said. His voice soft, calm, calculated. Midoriya didn't trust it for one moment.
"And you Izuku, my dear boy... You've grown so much. I've heard you aspire to be a hero?"
"Yes" was all Izuku replied, glancing at the mirrored glass. He felt uncomfortable, not knowing who was behind it. Not knowing who was looking at him this very moment.
All Might had almost fainted just now, sitting down and quickly waving a paper back and forth in his face. The boy he chose to be the next symbol of peace was the son of the symbol of evil! How did he not know that? He should've done a background check before simply handing over his quirk like that!
"I know you've enrolled in UA High... I've seen the footage of the Sportsfestival myself" he continued, looking back at Inko.
"You must be so proud of our son, making it so far in the final round"
He looked back at Midoriya, making the boy frown a little.
"But what surprises me the most, is the fact that you sure seem quirky for someone who is quirkless"
That made him freeze for a moment. How could he know Izuku was supposed to be quirkless?!
"Don't you think I recognize that power? The energy flowing through your veins this very instant? Yes, I can basically smell him on you... All Might..."
He spit his name with so much venom and hatred, making Deku clench his teeth. All Might has always been his idol! He couldn't bare hearing other people talk him down like that. All For One looked back at Inko, sighing.
"You were truly the love of my life, Inko... When we married I thought maybe I could change. Maybe I could give up this power and be happy with you? But after our son was born, I knew I could never have that. Because you see, I can predict what quirk someone will develop when they're just infants. I can take away a quirk before it has settled in. And when I saw Izuku's quirk... I was overthrown with jealousy and a longing for more power... I stole your quirk away from you Izuku. I took it and left, knowing the family life wasn't meant for me. But look at you now! Showing off this amazing quirk of yours..."
Izuku trembled on his feet, grabbing the hand of his mother for mental support. Of course Inko knew about One For All... She knew her son couldn't develop such a quirk out of the blue! But she never said anything, going along with the lie Izuku told her.
Meanwhile All Might clenched his fists, staring at the conversation intensly. If his secret got out... It would be disastrous... Certainly now that the son of All For One happened to be the carrier of One For All!
"How did you manage to sway him into giving it to you?" Aiko asked, staring at his son.
"By obediently playing the innocent boy? By acting like you adore and admire him?"
Midoriya couldn't bring out a single word as his father spoke to him. He stared at the ground, looking away from that man.
"It doesn't matter how you deceived him, really. The fact remains that you managed to disable my biggest threat while gaining more power yourself. I'm truly proud of you, Izuku. You even managed to slip into UA unnoticed! Those fools aren't what they used to be..."
"All Might still beat you" Deku hissed, his fists clenched as hard as he could.
"He defeated you on his weakest and managed to throw you in here on death row"
"Yes, that was my own fault indeed" Aiko sighed, closing his eyes for a moment.
"Do you want to know what your quirk would have been?"
"W-what?" Izuku breathed, not expecting this sudden twist in the conversation.
"Your quirk. The one you were born with. The one I stole away from you... Do you want it back? Do you want to know what it is?"
He must admit that he was tempted for a moment, before his mom spoke up.
"Don't try to manipulate my son like that" she hissed.
"Your son?" All For One asked surprised.
"In my knowledge, it still takes two to create a child, Inko dear"
"What is my quirk?" Midoriya asked, taking a step forward.
"Izuku, no-"
He cut his mom off, holding out an arm to prevent her from moving any further.
"I have the right to know, father"
He spat out the title like it was dirt. Yet All For One didn't seem to be affected by his tone. The fact Izuku had called him father had made him more than confident enough.
"You have indeed... You even have the right to use it, to explore its possiblities as you grow. I took those rights away from you and that was unfair of me" he answered.
"The name I gave your quirk is Share With One. A variant on my own quirk, All For One. Yes, you really followed in my footsteps on that matter..."
"Share With One? What does it do?" Deku asked, stepping closer to the man.
"Izuku!" Inko shouted, trying to hold him back, but it was no use.
"Why do you talk about it now?! After you took it away from me?! Regrets always come to late! It's way past a simply appology by now! Do you have any idea what kind of suffering you put me through?! What things I had to endure just because I was quirkless?!"
"Ah, I see you've seen the dark side of society as well, my son. You know there is no true good in this world! You are really just like me!"
"Shut up!" Izuku shouted and before he could control himself, he stepped over the boundries and grabbed the man by his neck.
"I swear I'll kill you" he hissed on a low and threatening voice.
"Thank you for giving me exactly what I needed" he grinned as security barged in, pulling Izuku away from All For One.
