RJ: mm- shut up.
Renjun wrapped himself under his soft warm blanket.
RJ: how dare you try to wake me up. Go away.
Renjun rolled over, facing the wall as he turned his back towards Jaemin.
Jaemin pounced on top of Renjun. The older grunted as the air in his lungs escaped. (A/n: lungs who? idk her.)
JN: Jaemin~ I told you to wait till he wakes up on his own!
JM: I've been waiting for hours!
Jaemin wrapped his arms around the lump on the bed known as Renjun.
JN: what are you talking about? You yourself just woke up 40-ish minutes ago.
The lump on the bed started struggling against Jaemin's embrace.
JN: NaNa~
JM: ok ok I'll stop.
[ . . . ]
RJ: what's the point I'm already up.
JM: Yay!
RJ: back off.
The lump on the bed started struggling against Jaemin, again.
Jeno started laughing as he sat on the edge of the bed, avoiding the physical conflict as best as he could.
JN: Alright, that's enough. It's a beautiful day, so how about we go out?
JM: that's right- ouch.. Renjun that was my face.
RJ: I know.
Renjun freed himself from the blanket and Jaemin. The youngest pouting as he rubbed the left side of his face.
RJ: So what is it you guys want to do?
JM: A date, obviously.
Renjun unknowingly blushed.
RJ: A d-date. Why?
JM: What do you mean, why? It's a beautiful day.. and oh yeah we're dating, so I don't know let's actually go on a date.

JN: What Jaemin means is, would you like to go on a date today?
RJ: Yes.

They had a nice time at the café, the whole holding hands as they walked around the park, taking a couple of pictures near the fountain, laughing at each others dumb jokes.
The regret came later on, at the amusement park.
It was already four in the afternoon. Not that late, the day was still young..ish.
That had just finished snacking on a nearby food stand. Then Jeno spoke up.
JN: Hey look at that.
Renjun and Jaemin both turned to look at whatever it was that Jeno was pointing at.
Hell no.
It was a poster that had "Quarantine:Z" in big bold letters. A warning of sorts in red at the bottom.
"Once you enter there's only one way out. Don't let them hear you, don't let them find you and never let them bite you."
RJ: I think not.
JN: 13 and up.
RJ: What are you so happy for?
JM: Come on Renjunn~ It's not real so you have nothing to worry about. Well be going in together, so if you get scared you can just hold on to one of us.
RJ: Bold of you to assume I would even get scared.
JN: Alright then let's go.

Jaemin dragged him for six whole minutes.

[A/n: hey guys very quick I need to explain. I know I said I based this off of 2020.. that was back when I wasn't in 2020. I also didn't know about covid.. it wasn't a thing when I wrote this, so the name of the maze just ended up being an awful coincidence. Here's my evidence:
A/n: I just wanted to explain before someone decided to be mad at me for making them go out on a date during covid.. also.. they are technically existing in January 2021.. they in the future, idk if the pandemic would still be a thing. Anyway, take care of yourselves and don't get sick. Ok I'm out I'm talking too much.]

The entrance was creepy as hell. The whole building looked so run down.. it's an aesthetic obviously, but that still didn't stop Renjun from imagining the whole building collapsing over them.
One of the windows even had a blood stain on it, fake blood obviously.
JN: Uh. Let go in.
Renjun felt the slight hesitation. If Jeno's scared then what the hell are they about to walk into.
Jaemin grabbed on to his wrist. At least Jaemin doesn't look scared, in fact he's the one that looks scary. Who the hell laughs so joyfully as the skip into a place like this?
The guy standing next to the door scanned all three of their wristbands. Handing them a guide and three flash lights with adjustable wrist straps.
Excuse me.. what for?
Guy: You'll have 40 minutes to find your way out, if time runs out, the lights will come on so it's easier for you to find the exit. In case of an emergency press and hold the botton on the bottom of the flashlight. Well get alerted and turn the lights on. Have fun.
Have fun how?
The guy opened the door for them.
JM: Alright let's go!
Jaemin grabbed both Jeno and Renjun as he entered.
The door closing right behind them. The clear sound of it being locked was heard.
Great. No chickening out now.
RJ: Does anyone have any idea of what we just walked into?
JN: I can't see crap.
Jaemin was the first to turn on his flash light.
JM: it's obviously a maze or something similar. We won't get lost as long as we follow the path that leads to the exit.
Jeno turns on his flash light as a way to look at the guide.
JN: And which path would that be?
Renjun turned to Jeno.
RJ: Do we have to find the path on the guide first before wondering off.
JN: I guess so.
As Renjun and Jeno were both busy trying to find the best path, Jaemin was looking around the place.
They were in a hallway. Things scattered on the floor, doors on both sides, some opened some closed.
Jaemin walked into one of the rooms.
The whole room was disheveled, the bed was tipped over, the sheets were torn and one off the walls had bloody prints on it.
The room almost felt similar to a hospital room, except more isolating. No windows, no color, no television in the corner and guest chairs. Then again maybe the amusement park didn't have enough of a budget to make it more accurate looking.
JN: Jaemin don't wonder off. Don't just go snooping around, what if you touch something your not supposed to?
Jaemin pouted as he turned around ready to exit the room and head back to where Jeno and Renjun are, except something caught his eye.
RJ: Let's take this one then, it's faster.
JN: If that's what you want then we can do that.
RJ: Let's hurry th-
JM: ZOMBIE!!
As Jeno turned his flash light towards the room Jaemin walked into, a figure limped out and turned to them..Renjun and Jeno unknowingly screamed. The figure hurried away to another room, the door slamming shut behind him.
RJ: What the hell was that?
JN: It was a zombie.
RJ: Why?
JN: I don't kn-
Renjun screamed and clung on to Jeno's side as something else stumbled out of the room.
JM: Its okay it's just me.
RJ: What the hell Jaemin!
JM: I swear I wasn't trying to scare you.
JN: How did the zombie find you?
Jaemin walked over to them and awkwardly scratched his head.
JM: Actually, I found him.
JN: how?
JM: A was on my way out of the room, but I saw this door in their that was slightly opened-
JN: Let me guess, so you decided to open it even more and that's when the zombie popped out.
JM: Yep.
RJ: clearly you have no fears.
JM: of course I do, I just don't show it.
Jaemin leaned over and gave Renjun a peck on the forehead.
Thank goodness Renjun had a tight grip around Jeno's arm.
JM: Don't worry Renjun. I would never let a zombie bite you.
Jaemin leaned over even closer, his lips almost brushing up against his earlobe.
JM: they can't bite you before i do~
JN: Jaemin.
Jaemin stood up and turned over to Jeno, giving him the most innocent look ever.
JM: What? I'd totally take a bite out of you too~
Ok focus, fake zombie apocalypse everyone!
RJ: L-let's focus on getting out of here first.
JM: Your right, someone could walk in on us here. We should hurry and get back to the dorm.
RJ: Not what I meant but as long as we get out of here.
JN: We already found the path out. So all we have to do is not bump in to any zombies, Jaemin.
JM: I can't promise anything, but I'll try.
Renjun noticed the death grip he had on Jeno, so he cleared his throat and realised him.
JN: It's okay to hold me if your scared.
JM: Jeno tends to hold onto people when he's scared too.
Jeno lightly smacked Jaemin's shoulder. The youngest grunted as he giggled.
JN: This way.
Jeno said as he held the guide and made a left turn to a dark hallway.

RJ: I wonder if they turn off the lights just so that they can save money on the electrical bill?
JM: Probably.. I wouldn't doubt it.
*door creak*
(A/N: watt should let me put sound effects.. cuz I suck at it.)
The three of them stopped in their tracks. They scanned around the hall with their flashlights.
Nothing happened.
JM: Alright. Let's keep going.

*EXITING THE MAZE*
RJ: I'm really sorry.
JN: It's okay.
JM: Yeah.. it probably won't be noticeable until tomorrow.
Jeno smacked Jaemin lightly on the chest.
JN: Renjun it's fine. You didn't punch me on purpose.
RJ: That doesn't make me feel better about it.
JM: How come you don't feel bad about hitting me?
RJ: Because you scare me on purpose.
Jaemin pouted at him.
Don't do that.
JM: I was only playing.
Renjun glared at him and turned his attention back to Jeno.
RJ: what if it bruises?
JN: The bruise won't last forever, just get over it.
RJ: I'll buy you dinner to make up for it.
Jeno smiled fondly.
JN: It's okay.
JM: Just kiss it better.

JM: It's just going to be a kiss on the cheek.. why are you guys blushing so hard?

A/n: Calm down i'm not a monster. Obviously Renjun kissed it better.
Anyways, first dates aren't always the best, so i'm giving myself a pat on the head for coming up with this much.
I'm sorry it took this long, I was actually really unwell.. to be honest I'm still recovering. (I'm having a hard time recovering) My mom says I'm very weak.. in physical terms. She also told me my body is weak because I haven't gone outside in months. Long story short, sorry I took so long.
