I sat in a cage for what seemed like weeks. The police man was vary kind to me. He was doing a background check on me to see who owned me.
The police man finally made a call.
'If he calls Gwen then slender...wait he's not here this could be my chance. YES I'm going home'
I was getting excited because I knew Gwen was comeing to get me.
I was barking and jumping around in my cage.
The police man walked over seeing me so excited he let out a hard chuckle
"Someone's happy"
I barked happily at him
'Oh thankyouthankyouthankyou im free from them thank you so much!'
He laughed again and opened the cage giveing me a pet then closed the cage once more.
After a few hours I heard the door open and saw two feet and four black paws It was gwen and Friday.
I started to get excited again
The police man looked down at my cage and smiled then looked back up at gwen
"Sorry about the mess sir, she sure is happy to see you again"
I was stopped...'no'
"Its no problem at all. It was only a few hours I had to do some shopping anyway. Sally would you like to get her?
"YES"
I saw two little feet drop down from the bigger two and run around the desk to me.
"HI PUPPY"
sally gkt me out of the cage and on a leash as we walked around the desk I saw slender in that human skin, and the dreaded smile dog but he looked as normal as any other mut.
God I hate that word..mut..its the only word to describe him though
He gave me a sinister smile..how? I couldn't see it but I could feel it. It sent shivers down my spine
"Hey I dont remember you having a second dog with you"
"Oh yes sorry officer, This is smile we had time to head home so when you called we thought to bring smile with us. He misssed Bailey and im sure she missed him too they are mates."
He sent me a look to which I rubed my self on smile in a loving manner...it kinda felt nice
Smile licked my cheek which made me feel safe....wait what no! Stop it Y/N!
After slender and the police man had a small chat we left when we went outside I saw Gwen waiting in her car with friday...she saw me and started to cry. Im so sorry gwen
We went back to the mansion
Smile must have seen how sad I was
Once we where off the leachs smile lead me through the woods to the top of a hill over looking a meadow
"Smile why are we here?" I asked sadly
"Because I want to show you somthing" we wait for a while then he lifted my head gently
The sunset
"Its beautiful"
"It's the best spot in the whole Forest"
I instinctively put my head on smile
He moved closer to me
There is was again that feeling of being safe...This was different from how i nomaly feel
I always feel safe because I know I can protect myself...but this is different
Like...
I have someone to protect me now
I sigh out loud
"Whats wrong?" Smile asked
I only smiled in return a genuine joy filled smile
Whether I like it or not im falling for this dog
Maybe I found my home?
