Juliette Lilian Salvatore was dead.
Her father and uncle found her in the basement, as she took her last breath.
Stefan ran over to her, and held her.
"You're not dead. Please wake up." Stefan begged.
He put her down, and started to do chest compressions.
"Juliette, wake up. Please." Stefan pleaded.
He kept pushing on her chest, and Damon came over.
"Oh my god Juliette." Damon whispered as she walked closer.
Stefan was still trying to revive her, but she just wasn't waking up.
"Don't you die on me! This wasn't supposed to happen!" Stefan yelled tearing up.
At this point he was pressing so hard, he almost broke Juliette's ribs.
"We where supposed to be happy again. Travel the rest of the world, laugh. You weren't supposed to die." Stefan huffed while still pressing on Juliette's chest.
Stefan has a flashback to when she was born.
FLASHBACK: SALVATORE ESTATE: 1864.
Katherine was pushing out Juliette, and she was tired.
Stefan stood there in awe, as his child was coming into the world.
"You got this Katherine. You're almost done." Stefan cooed while holding her hand.
Katherine took a deep breath, and nodded.
She gave one big push, and the baby slid out.
"It's a baby girl." The nurse announced.
Stefan couldn't wait to be father, but to a little girl that made his life.
The nurse cleaned Juliette off, and wrapped her up in blankets.
She brung her over to Stefan, and he was so excited.
"She's beautiful." Katherine whispered due tiredness.
"She is. Thank you Katherine." Stefan said smiling.
Katherine nodded, and smiled.
"Juliette. How about that for her name?" Katherine asked.
"I love it." Stefan said smiling.
"Juliette Lilian Salvatore." Stefan said.
Juliette gargled, and smiled.
Juliette from that day on, was wrapped around Stefan's finger.
FLASHBACK OVER.
Stefan was still pressing on her chest.
Damon got out of his trance, and ran over to Stefan.
"Stefan, you're going to break her ribs if you keep pushing so hard." Damon said trying to get Stefan to stop.
Stefan shook his head, and continued.
Damon remembered the first time he saw Juliette.
FLASHBACK: SALVATORE ESTATE: 1864.
Stefan was in the living room with Juliette, in his arms.
Damon walked in. And smiled.
"Hello brother." Damon whispered.
Stefan got up, and walked over to Damon.
"I'm a uncle to a girl." Damon said gloating.
"Juliette Salvatore." Stefan said passing her to Damon.
Damon looked down at the tiny baby, and smiled.
"Hello Juliette, I'm your uncle Damon. I'm gonna call you Lette." Damon cooed.
And every since then, that's what Damon called Juliette.
FLASHBACK OVER.
Juliette still was dead.
Stefan still come to terms with it.
He couldn't let go of his little girl.
FLASHBACK: SALVATORE HOUSE NUMBER TWO: 1865.
Stefan walked into Juliette's room, to come spend time with her.
He walked over to her crib, and smiled.
"Well hello my beautiful daughter." Stefan said while picking Juliette up.
He placed her on the floor, and he sat on the floor too.
He went to grab a book, but when Stefan turned back around Juliette was gone.
"Juliette?" Stefan asked frantically.
He looked to the side of him, and saw Juliette walking.
Stefan smiled, and clapped.
"Juliette come to papa. You can do it baby girl." Stefan said with wide arms.
Juliette fell, and Stefan thought she was going to cry. But she didn't, she laughed and got right back up.
The baby finished her walk to Stefan.
Stefan hugged her, and kissed her cheek.
"You're growing to fast." Stefan whispered.
END OF FLASHBACK.
Stefan still couldn't come to terms with her daughter's death.
Stefan brought Juliette to her to bed.
She had a fainted smile on her lips.
Stefan still thought she was beautiful, while dead.
He tucked her in, as if she was just sleeping.
And that's how Stefan stayed all night. In Juliette's bedroom looking at her dead body.
Juliette's soul was on the other side.
She walked through, and the wind hit her hair.
The deceased vampire was confused as to why she was here.
Juliette saw a familiar face, and smiled.
It was Lexi.
She ran into Lexi's arms, and hugged her tight.
"Little Stefan, what are you doing here?" Lexi asked.
"I used my nature calls to help open the tomb, and I ran all the way home. I was in the basement getting a box, and my heart and head started hurting. Then, I got here." Juliette explained.
"We're going to get you back. You can't leave your father just yet." Lexi explained.
Juliette nodded, and started walking with Lexi.
It was morning time in reality, and Juliette was still dead.
Stefan was just staring at her.
He couldn't move or talk. His little girl was gone from him, without a goodbye.
Stefan flashed to his room, and started throwing stuff around his room.
He was angry. His only light was taken from him.
Elena came to the house, and ran upstairs once she heard all the commotion.
She saw Stefan sitting on the floor, his hand in his hair.
"Juliette is dead." Stefan whispered.
Elena's face dropped, and sat next to Stefan.
She rubbed his back, let him cry it out.
On the other side, Juliette was still Lexi.
"I don't how I'm going to get out. He'll be okay if I don't come back. I'll watch over him." Juliette explained.
Juliette looked around, and saw she was in Stefan's room.
"Aunt Lexi?" Juliette asked.
"You said he'll be fine without you? Look at him, he's broken " Lexi explained.
Stefan felt someone in his room, so did Elena.
But they couldn't see anyone.
Juliette and Lexi walked into Juliette's room, and saw her body there.
Juliette put a hand over her mouth, and let a breath out.
"Oh my god." Juliette said.
Lexi put a hand of Juliette's shoulder.
Stefan and Elena entered Juliette's room. Stefan sat down on the edge of the bed, and stroked Juliette's hair.
Juliette lost it. She needed her father to see her, to let him know she was okay.
"Daddy." Juliette whispered letting another tear drop.
She tried to touch him, but her hand went through him.
Stefan felt something touch him briefly, but didn't think anything of it.
"I have to get out of here." Juliette cried.
"But I don't want to leave you." Juliette said shaking her head.
"I'll be fine Juliette. I'll watch over you, until the day you are ready to find peace." Lexi explained stroking Juliette's hair.
Juliette nodded, and walked to find someone or something to help get her out.
But as she was walking, she saw Sheila.
"No." Juliette whispered letting more tears out.
"No, you weren't supposed to die. What about Bonnie?" Juliette asked grams.
"She's will be fine. But you dear, you need to get back to your father." Sheila explained smiling.
Juliette shook her head, and let more tears come out.
She looked over at Lexi who was smiling. Juliette ran over to her, and hugged her tight.
"Bye aunt Lexi." Juliette whispered.
"It's never bye. It's I'll see you later." Lexi said.
Juliette pulled apart, and walked to Sheila.
Sheila grabbed Juliette, and Juliette's soul went back in her body.
Stefan was confused to as why the veins on Juliette were going away.
Juliette's body went back to normal, but she didn't wake up or breathe.
Juliette couldn't understand why she wasn't awake.
She saw Natasha walk over to her.
"Why aren't I awake yet?" Juliette asked.
"You're dead. ." Natasha explained.
Juliette shook her head.
"I was supposed to go back to my body. My dad is waiting for me to wake up." Juliette said frantically. She let tears out.
"I understand. You used to much energy yesterday. Very brave hybrid." Natasha said shaking her head.
"What the hell is a hybrid?" Juliette asked lost.
"Two supernatural ability's for one person. You're vampire, and a nature bender." Natasha explained smiling.
Juliette stood there in shock.
"I just want to wake up from being dead. I can't just leave my family." Juliette sadly said.
Natasha sadly smiled, and walked away.
When Juliette looked up, Natasha was already gone.
Juliette felt herself slipping into oblivion. She was no longer looking at herself from a distance, she was back in her body.
The hybrid girl's dream reel started.
JULIETTE'S DREAMS:
Juliette was five, and it was Christmas Eve.
She was in her bed, tucked in ready for bed.
Instead of her father and uncle just being there, her mother was there too.
"Papa, does Santa really see everything you do?" Little Juliette asked.
Stefan smiled, and nodded.
"Yes he does. Were you being naughty this year?" Stefan asked tickling Juliette.
"No!" Juliette laughed.
Katherine walked in, and kissed Stefan's cheek.
Then she sat next to Juliette on her bed, and kissed her head.
"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Katherine asked Juliette.
Little Juliette nodded her small head, and smiled.
"Yes mama. Papa said Santa sees everything." Juliette said.
Just as Katherine was going to answer, Damon walked into her room.
"Of course he does, little niece." Damon said smiling.
Damon walked over to the bed, and kissed Juliette's head.
Juliette yawned, and rubbed her eyes.
"Goodnight Juliette." Stefan said pulling the blanket up to Juliette.
"Goodnight everyone." Juliette whispered.
That was how Juliette's fifth Christmas was supposed to go.
Juliette had another dream.
JULIETTE'S DREAMS.
Juliette was twenty six, and not a vampire.
She has two twin five year old girls.
Juliette took them to see Stefan, and Damon for the day.
She always wanted to name her girls Nicolette, and Lilian.
The human Juliette knocked on the door.
"I'm so excited to see grandfather, and uncle Damon." Nicolette said.
"Me too!" Lilian said.
As if on queue, Stefan opened the door.
Juliette smiled, and let the girls hands go.
"Hello father." Juliette said hugging Stefan.
Stefan hugged Juliette, and smiled.
"Hello sweetheart." Stefan said into her hair.
They pulled apart, and Stefan bent down to Nicolette and Lilian.
"Grandpa!" The twins yelled together.
Stefan hugged both of them.
Damon came out the house, and hugged Juliette.
"Hello uncle Damon." Juliette said.
"How are you Lette?" Damon asked.
"I'm good. What about you?" Juliette asked pulling away.
"I'm okay. Your mother is here." Damon said.
Katherine walked out, and kids went wild.
"Nana!" The twins yelled. They ran up her.
Stefan put a arm around Juliette, and smiled.
"Thank you for my grand children." Stefan said, and kissed her head.
Katherine walked over to Juliette, and smiled.
"Mama." Juliette greeted her mother.
She hugged her, and Katherine hugged back.
That's who Juliette's life should have been.
DREAM OVER.
Juliette was still dead. She wasn't breathing, so Stefan knew she had died.
Stefan called everyone Juliette knew, and told them Juliette was dead.
Everyone came, walked into Juliette's room. They all looked sad. Seeing their friend dead on her bed.
Elena cried, and made sure Stefan was okay.
Damon couldn't come to believe it. His only niece was dead.
Matt cried, and wished he didn't break Juliette's heart. He thought maybe is she had been with him, and she would be alive.
Caroline didn't believe it either. The last time to she talked to Juliette, Juliette told her she couldn't forgive her.
Tyler was heartbroken. His good friend was taken away from his dysfunctional life.
Bonnie felt bad. She lost her friend that understood her. Bonnie lost her grams and friend because, of some seal.
Jeremy was upset. He barley got a chance to know Juliette.
And Stefan. Stefan felt his world end. He felt it was his fault. He wasn't there to take care of Juliette.
Stefan felt like if he didn't go into that tomb, she would still be alive.
It was afternoon time, around three o'clock.
Everyone one there was dressed in black.
Everyone cleared the room so the girls could wash Juliette up.
Stefan knew Juliette would want to be placed in the family tomb.
The father made arrangements for quick funeral, for his daughter.
The girls got Juliette washed up. Her funeral wasn't until that night, but they needed to get started.
Caroline went into Juliette's closet, and picked out a dress.
It was blue, with lace at the top. It had a belt in the middle.
Elena and Bonnie sat Juliette up, and put the dress on her.
The dead hybrid was starting to get stiff. Rigor mortis was starting to set in, and the girls noticed.
"Her body is staring to stiffen." Elena said sadly.
"Yeah, we have to hurry." Bonnie said.
Elena went to Juliette's vanity, and got her hairbrush.
The doppelgänger sat Juliette up, and started doing Juliette's short hair.
She brushed it, and curled it.
By the time the girls finished with Juliette, it was around five o'clock.
Bonnie, Elena, and Caroline came down the stairs.
All the guys turned around, from talking.
"She's ready." Caroline said.
Stefan nodded, and put his glass of bourbon down.
"Thank you." Stefan said smiling sadly.
The three girls nodded, and walked into the living room where the guys were.
Stefan walked upstairs to Juliette's bedroom. She was still there not moving, or breathing.
Stefan walked over to Juliette dresser, and grabbed the ring Matt gave her.
He placed it on her left ring finger.
Her daylight ring was still on her pointer finger.
The father picked Juliette bridal, and carried her out her room.
Stefan walked downstairs with her in his arms.
He walked to the tomb behind the house, and opened it. He placed in her coffin, and placed her left hand on top of her right.
The grieving father kissed his daughter's head, and went back to the boarding house to tell it was time.
Stefan flashed to the house, and opened the door.
Everyone looked at Stefan.
Stefan nodded his head once.
"It's time." Stefan said.
Everyone got up, and followed Stefan.
Five minutes later, everyone made to the tomb.
Juliette was lying there. Her skin color was pale, her hair color was darker, and her lips were cracked.
Everyone stood around Juliette's coffin, quietly.
Juliette's skin color came back, her lips weren't cracked, and her hair color lightened.
Everyone was confused.
Juliette eyes shot open.
She was alive.
