LALISA'S POV
"Okay ka lang?" Alalang tanong ni Jisoo.
Tinignan ko siya saglit bago ituon ang atensyon ko sa kalsada.
"Oo naman."
"Sure ka?"-Jisoo
"Yes."
"Aah," tumingin siya sa mga kamay ko kaya napatigil ako sa pagtap sa manibela. "Okay, sabi mo eh." She sounded un-convince.
"Okay lang talaga ako, J. I... kinakabahan lang ako when we get to the city."
"Kinakabahan ka? Why?"-Jisoo
"Kasi hindi ko natawagan si Lee."
She pouted, "alam naman niyang one week tayo dun ah?"
"Yes. Pero I told him na tatawagan ko siya right away."
"Eh? Im sure he will understand."-Jisoo
I faked a laugh. "Lee is the most understanding person I know." I glanced at Jisoo who only frowned at me. "I'll be fine, I promise."
"I hope I can help."-Jisoo
"Trust me, I will let you if you can."
"Harsh ba talaga si Lee?" She asked turning to face me. "I heard your manager is the most serious one in the Entertainment."
"The rumour is true. Pero I am sure, Lee is just doing his job." Sagot ko naman at saka tumingin sa kabilang side when Chaeng's car drove on our side. "Oh shoot, this is where we part ways."
"Oh yes! The highway!"-Jisoo
Kumaway kami ni Jisoo sa kabilang car. Jennie blew Jisoo a kiss kaya napasandal ako sa upuan ko.
"I'll see you at work." I said to no one before turning to the right side of the road. "Jisoo, thank you for everything."
"No, thank you." She smiled, "you really made my week. It's the best week of my life."
"I'm glad I made it your best week." I whispered. "You made mine the most unforgettable one. Lahat ng first time ko during the week nandun ka."
Namula siya. She suddenly looked out the window and sniffed.
"Sorry," she suddenly said. "I'm just so happy right now."
"Haha. I get it!" I glanced at her and added. "If hindi man kita pansinin pag nagkita tayo, alam mo na ah?"
"Ganyan naman kayong mga celebrity, no pansin. Kahit kilala niyo yung tao." Pairap niyang sabi. "Chaeng is like that sa school. But she have her reasons."
"We have our reasons." I hold my hand out at kaagad niya namang hinawakan iyon. "I had a great time with you, Jisoo."
Mabilis akong hinalikan sa pisngi ni Jisoo bago bumaba ng sasakyan. Hindi na siya lumingon pa at nagtuloy-tuloy ng maglakad palayo sa sasakyan ko.
Sighing, I put my forehead against the wheel. I feel more anxious than excited.
Kaagad akong nag reverse at bumalik sa highway. Then I took the high road where Chaeng drove off to.
"Here we go..." I whispered to myself when I stopped in front of the familiar family house.
I should have said my goodbyes before driving away.
"Magpapaalam lang ako..." bulong ko sa sarili when I climb the stairs. "I needed to say goodbye to Jennie."
Bago pa ako kumatok ay bumukas ang pintuan. My heart stopped from beating...
"Lisa?"
"Ka... Kai." I stuttered, "I... I heard you are here. Kaya dumeretso na ako dito."
"Lisa is here?" Jennie asked from behind him. "Is Jisoo with her?"
"Yes, it is Lisa." Sagot ni Kai sakanya. "What do you need, Lis?"
"Ikaw."
"I mean, anong kailangan mo saakin?"-Kai
I want to know why you're here. But of course, he's the fiancè, what else could it be?
"I... just want to ask if anong motif sa kasal niyo?"
Kai eyed me suspiciously. Lumingon siya kay Jennie at tinaasan niya ito ng kilay.
"Are we having problems with the wedding motifs?" Kai asked Jennie. "I thought okay na?"
Oops. I am dead. I pursed my lips as I looked at Jennie.
"Wala namang problema?" She pouted, "she's literally asking about the motif, babe."
"Yes. Para alam ko what to wear and what not to wear on your wedding day."
I cleared my throat and looked back at Kai. He raised an eye brow kaya ngumiti ako.
Tumingin siya kay Jennie at hinalikan ito sa side ng head. Jennie genuinely smiled at him.
"Don't worry about what to wear or what not to wear, Lis. Kami ng bahala dun." Sabi ni Kai at saka ngumiti saakin. "You will be there, right?"
"Of course, it's not something I will miss." Sagot ko at saka ngumiti din. "Okay, I just came here for that."
"You should have just called."-Kai
"I can't. Busy na ako when I get to the studio. They've been waiting for me."
"Oh yes! Your world tour!" He exclaimed. "Dang! Congrats, Lis."
I shook my head when he pulled me for a hug.
After that talk, I decided to stay in my car for a bit. Nakalimutan ko kung anong pinunta ko dun.
May dahilan talaga ako eh... pero hindi ko maalala. Aysh! Kai is such a distraction.
This is so upsetting.
"How was your week?" Lee calmly asked when I get home. "You look frustrated. What happened?"
"You are not mad?" Please, don't ask me about my frustration.
"I am. Pero mas magagalit ako if you don't tell me what happened."-Lee
"Should I kiss Irene in front of the crowd?" I asked, changing the topic. "That will make out fans crazy."
He glared at me. Mabilis akong tumingin sa mga bagay-bagay sa paligid ko. Dodging his stares at me.
"Sasabihin mo o sasabihin mo?" He firmly asked.
I licked my lips. "Fine." And I told him everything. Except the things I am feeling towards Jennie.
"No. No kissing Irene in front of the media. You can slightly brush your lips against her forehead tho."-Lee
"How about a hug from behind?"
"You can do that too. Pero be very discreet."-Lee
"Should we act that in the local tour or world tour?"
Lee sighed, "both."
Napatango ako sa sinabi niya. Kinuha ko ang phone ko and saw a couple missed calls from Chaeng. Speaking...
"Lee, I wanted to work with Park Chaeyoung."
He slowly looked at me. He is probably thinking kung anong nakain ko. Matagal na kasi niyang tinatanong if I am willing to work with Chaeng, and laging kong sagot ang no.
"Are you sure?"-Lee
"Yes."
"Why?"-Lee
I shrugged. "Just sign me a contract with her."
He pumped his fist in joy. I heard a yes from him bago siya patakbong umakyat sa second floor ng house ko. He has his mini-office next to my room.
When Lee came back a question popped in my head. Should I ask him? But why would I?
Okay, I gotta ask him.
"Lee," I called making the latter look from his papers. "Pwede bang makipag-live-in without getting married?"
"Yes, by parents permission. Why?"-Lee
"I'm just wondering."
"Why? Are you planning on getting married?"-Lee
"Yes."
"You just get annulled, Panpriya."-Lee
I shut my eyes as I massaged the bridge of my nose. "Nevermind, then." I sighed. Bata pa ako to get married. Focus muna ako sa career ko. Focus.
Lee sat beside me. "Whom are you marrying?"
"You'll get mad if I tell you."
"I told you, you and Sehun can't be together." He said, "spare me the love sick talk, Panpriya. You should go to sleep."
Napailing ako. Let him think about Sehun, his less favourite artist.
Tumayo na ako at saka umakyat sa second floor. I looked back at Lee. I frowned at him, he is staring.
If hindi ko lang siya kilala baka sabihin kong may gusto siya saakin...
"Babalik ka ba dito mamaya?"
"Nope, why?"-Lee
"Nothing. Just lock the door then."
I bit my bottom lip as I watched Lee stepped out of the door. Chineck ko ang time; 6 in the evening.
I should sleep, para makalabas pa ako mamaya.
Hindi ko alam kung nakatulog ako o hindi. But I thought I was trying to remember what happened between me and Jennie nung aksidenteng nakasal kami.
But none. Blanko. A dreamless nap.
"Promise, I'll be there tomorrow."
"Babe, stop with the promises."
"Haha. Sorry, I can't help it." Kai fixed Jennie's hair behind her ear. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Drive safely, Kai."
"My name is not Kai, it's babe."
Jennie shook her head in amusement. Hinalikan siya ni Kai sa forehead bago ito sumakay sa sasakyan niya. They looked so in-love.
She waved one last time before Kai disappeared. Mabilis akong lumabas sa kotse at hinila si Jennie sa kamay.
"Aaah! Hoy!" She clawed my hand almost immediately. "Don't fucking kidnap me!"
I grinned at her. "Hi."
"Li... Lisa?!"-Jennie
"Hi."
"What the fuck are you doing here!" She asked and pushed me somewhere hidden. "If makita ka ng daddy, lagot ako!"
"I have my cap."
"That is not enough!"-Jennie
Natawa ako ng ibaba pa niya lalo ang cap ko. I hold her hand and pulled her to my car.
"Sorry if nagulat kita. It was just funny scaring you."
"Ay wow. Talaga lang ha?"-Jennie
"Haha. Sorry, Jennie."
She crossed her arms. "What are you doing here? Gabi na ah? Akala ko ba hindi ka na magpapakita after we get here?"
"Oo nga. Hindi na talaga." Sabi ko at saka nakangiting tumingin sakanya. "Kahit nakikita mo ako sa tv..."
"I don't watch tv."-Jennie
"Oh yes, I have forgotten that you live in the mountains." I joked.
"Ha-ha." She rolled her eyes at me but a smile tugging on her lips anyways. "So, bakit ka nga nandito?"
"Hindi ko alam." Seryoso kong sabi. "I am frustrated tho."
Unti-unting nawala ang ngiti sa labi niya. I rest my forehead against the stirring wheel and looked at her.
"What's wrong, Lili?"-Jennie
Napanguso ako ng maramdaman ko ang pagtibok ng puso ko. Literal na nararamdaman ko...
"I don't know. I wasn't even sure why I was here in the afternoon."
"Haha. Pwede ba yun?" She asked, blinking at me. "Didn't you come here to ask about the motif tho?"
"That was just an excuse." Bakit ba ang honest ko sakanya?!
"Really? So, ano talaga pinunta mo dito kanina?"-Jennie
"Hindi ko alam. Nakalimutan ko." I took a deep breathe as I looked at her necklace. "Kai distracted me. Why was he here?"
"My father invited him for tea."-Jennie
"Oh wow. Legal na talaga kayo?"
She leaned against the dashboard and crossed her arms. "Of course, ikakasal na nga diba? Alangan namang hindi pa kami legal?"
I frowned. Tumitig ako sa mga mata niya at napapikit. I have no idea what I am doing and what I am telling her right now. I am so conflicted.
"Jennie..."
"About the wedding," she said making me open my eyes. "Hindi ko alam why you said what you have said last night. But please, if you are serious, do something about it."
Do something about it... kaagad akong napaayos ng upo. Jennie raised an eye brow kaya napaiwas ako ng tingin.
Hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko. But there is one thing that I wanted to do. I wanted to kiss her.
Is this wrong? Hindi ko aakalaing...
"You came here for a reason, Lili. What is it?"-Jennie
"Aalis ako. I have a world tour to do."
"I heard..."-Jennie
"I... I think I came here to say goodbye."
Napaiwas ako ng tingin ng makita ang lungkot sa mga mata niya. A smile tugged on her lips making me feel bad, sad, and frustrated all at the same time.
"I knew you were asking me to marry you last night because of the event we were into." Sabi niya at tumawa ng mahina. "Nandun na kasi lahat ng feelings, kaya nasabi mo yun out of nowhere."
"You're... you're right."
Umayos siya ng upo. Sumandal siya sa upuan, looking straight with her arms crossed on her chest.
Ewan. Pero wala na akong maisip sabihin... but I did something that made my frustration go away.
I pulled her face and kissed her. Her eyes were wide open making me pull away.
"What was that for?!" She asked in between chasing her breathe. "Why..."
"Mababaliw ako pag hindi pa kita hinalikan."
