"WE HAVE TO PROTECT IT" Natasha spoke firmly, crossing her arms and leaning against the table.
"No. We have to destroy it" Vision replied, clutching his wound on the side of his body. "I've been giving a lot of thought to this entity in my head...about its nature but also its composition".
Amber thought for a second as she wracked her brain. "So if it were exposed to a sufficiently powerful energy, something very similar to its own signature...its molecular integrity could fail." The girl spoke up.
Everyone looked at the girl in surprise, but Amber merely shrugged,"What? I took A-Level Physics."
"You're saying the molecular integrity would fail but so could you. We're not having this conversation" Wanda said softly.
"Eliminating the stone is the only way to be certain that Thanos can't get it" Vision murmured.
"That's too high a price" Wanda's voice cracked as Vision ran a hand through her hair, to try calm the older girl.
"Only you and Amber have the power to pay it, and since Amber... doesn't have her powers anymore... you have to do it" Vision replies, his voice a mere octave from a whisper.
Wanda broke her gaze with the bot, and walked towards the windows to their left, her head hung low and her mind racing.
"Thanos threatens half the universe. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him" Vision told the group.
"But it should" Steve spoke up, letting out a small sigh, "We don't trade lives Vision".
"Captain, seventy years ago you lay down your life to save how many millions of people? Tell me how this is any different?" Vision said, turning towards the man.
"Because, you might have a choice" Bruce faltered before continuing, "Your mind is made up of a complex construct of overlays, Jarvis, Ultron, Tony, Me, the stone. All of them mixed together, all of them learning from one another".
"You're saying Vision isn't just the stone?" Wanda inquired, her hands inside of her back pockets.
"I'm saying that if we take out the stone. There's still a whole lot of Vision left, perhaps the best parts" Bruce affirmed.
"Can we do that?" Natasha appealed.
"Not me" Bruce replies, shaking his head, "Not here".
"Well you better find someone and somewhere fast. Ross isn't just going to let you have your old rooms back" Rhodey advised.
Steve looked deep in thought and met his teammates eyes, "I know somewhere".

AMBER GAZED OUT THE WINDOW, in admiration as they flew over the plains and mountains of Wakanda.
"Drop to 2600 heading 030" Steve commandeered, looking over Sams shoulder at the fields
"I hope you're right about this" Sam replied from the captains seat, "Or we're going to land a lot faster than you want to".
Amber sat down in her usual corner of the quinjet, as the small plane-like carried went into a descent and straight through the magnetic, protective field surrounding the true land of Wakanda.
They flew over the tops of skyscrapers and rounded their way to the front of Wakandas palace. The quinjet made a steady halt and the main door opened up. Wakandas warriors stood to greet them, T'Challa directly in between the Dora Milaje.
Steve and Natasha walked out first to greet the king, while Amber grabbed a pair of sunglasses and followed alongside Bruce and Rhodey.
"Should we bow?" Bruce questioned, his voice wavering. Amber smiled at his anxiousness.
"Yeah.. he's a king" Rhodey replied in a serious tone, although he subtly winked in Ambers direction. The girl focused her attention back to Steve and T'Challa who were greeting each other.
"It seems like I'm always thanking you for something" Steve told the man, shaking a smiling T'Challas hand.
Bruce cleared his throat and bent down to bow.
Rhodey gave him an estranged look. "What are you doing?" The man questioned in a teasing manner.
T'Challa looked at Bruce awkwardly and shook his head, "We don't do that here". Rhodey grinned mischievously at Bruce.
"So how big of an assault should we expect" T'Challa queried, while walking towards the building ahead of them.
"I think you should expect quite a big assault" Amber spoke up, fixing her sunglasses on her face.
"How are we looking?" Natasha asked the king,
"You have my Kingsguard, the boarder tribe, the Dora Milaje and.." he gestured to a man in front of him.
"A semi-stable hundred year old man" Bucky Barnes stated with a feeble smile, walking towards the group. Steve was quick to embrace the man in a swift hug.
"How are you doing Buck?" Steve asked,
"Not bad for the end of the world" Bucky chuckled in response.

AMBER STOOD BY THE WINDOW, in the lab. Her teammates were standing around the room as Vision lay on a table. Shuri stood in front of a hologram of the stone lodged in Visions head.
"The structure is polymorphic" Shuri analysed.
"Right, we-we has to attach each Neuron non-sequentially" Bruce stammered.
"Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?" Shuri asked with a grin. Bruce looked flustered and Vision gave him a small glance.
"Bec-Because we didn't think of it?" Bruce replied, tilting his head slightly.
"I'm sure you did your best" Shuri stayed sarcastically, Amber had to contain laughter at the look on the scientists face.
"Can you do it?" Wanda spoke up, returning the seriousness and tension to the conversation.
"Yes" Shuri nodded, "but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment can cause a cascade of circuit failures. So it will take time brother.".
"How long?" Steve asked, from the corner.
"As long as you can give me" Shuri determined, as Okoyes bracelet beeped.
"Somethings entered the atmosphere" Okoye murmured, examine the small hologram.
"Thanos" Amber whispered, tugging at her sleeves, as Nat placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Hey Cap we have a situation out here"

I ended it so awkwardly because this book only has 10 chapters and the battle is literally in the next chapter. Wow this book is flying past quickly. It's almost over and time for Ambers faith to be revealed.
