This is similar to my previous tutorial, except I'm going to teach you how to add a polaroid into the mix. At the end, I'll also show you different versions of the cover.
| What You'll Need.
• Phonto.
• Afterlight.
• Several photos of your choice.
| Let's Begin.
Step One.
Gather all your photos that you want on your cover including one main one that will be larger and more noticeable than the others. When gathering your photo, I think it's better to find your main photo first and then work around it.
I'm going to be use this photo of the beautiful Lily Rose Depp as my main photo:
Take note of the colors in your picture so you know what other photos to look at. I'm going to look for bright blue, pink, and cream pictures.
Step Two.
Choose one of your photos either your main one or another one and make it to a polaroid.
If you have Afterlight and the instant film pack, you can go ahead and just put the polaroid frame on your photo.
But if you don't you're going to make your polaroid photo by choosing any of these templates:
Go on to Superimpose and select the template as your background. Your photo of choice will be your foreground. Press Transform and then Screen.
Click Mask and the square option. Cut out any part that go over the black area of the polaroid.
When you're done click Transform again and then Normal. Save your photo.
Now, select any plain image as your background and your polaroid photo as the foreground. Click Mask and then the square, and cut around the polaroid. When you're done and about to save the photo, select the option Mask as png.
It's a little time consuming, but must be done lol.
Moving on.
Step Three.
Now that you have all your pictures gathered, go on to Phonto and use this photo:
Step Four.
Begin to add all your images by clicking the bottom left button and then Add Image.
Just add them all and play around. You may add photos, remove some, edit some so they look better. Just play around.
This is what I ended up with:
I want to add something a little more to the cover, so I opted for little pngs. Just look up "tumblr pngs" or "tumblr transparents" and you'll find a bunch.
Step Five.
Now you can edit and add text to your photo.
Final Product.
