Cold~
Like a snake,
I shed my skin.
Everytime I do,
I think of the cause.
Is it me?
or its someone else?
It's not everyday,
But it's often.
I offer myself a chance,
The world refuses to give.
I want to live,
A thousand lives.
Once is never enough.
I admit it's selfish,
But aren't we all?
We only give,
So we recieve.
And those with golden heart,
Are almost unreal.
We choose to be cold,
Because it's easier
To feel nothing,
Than to feel only pain.
