Mel POV

"Good morning, where's mom?" I ask Jess while walking into the kitchen after getting ready for the day
"She said she was going to an AA meeting, also I made breakfast it's on the counter for you, so is your coffee" Jess tells me walking to the living room sitting down on the couch
"Thanks and do you really think she is at an AA meeting" I ask sitting next to Jess
"Yeah I kinda do" Jess says
"Okay, well what are you doing today while everyone is busy" I ask her knowing I'll be at work and so will Erick and Maeve, and my mom will be doing whatever the hell she is doing
"Well I wanna go job hunting" Jess says
"Well good luck, but I need to start heading to work before I'm late, love you" I say to Jess while getting up off the couch putting my dish in the sick that I'll wash when I get home
"LOVE YOU TOO" Jess shouts at me while I walk out the door to my car
~at work~
"Hey" I greeted my girlfriend as she walks into the trailer so I can do her hair for this episode of legacies
"Hey babe, how was your morning" Kaylee asks me while sitting down in the chair in front of me
"Good, Jess made me coffee and breakfast and she told me she was going job hunting today, what about your morning" I say starting to do Kaylee's hair
"That's good she is finding a job instead of being stuck at home and my morning is better now that I get to see you" Kaylee says being cheesy asf
"Aww I make your day better" i say leaning down kissing kaylee on the cheek
"Of course you do, you make everyday better whenever I'm with you" Kaylee says standing up and facing me as I got done touching up her hair
"Aww well you make everyday better when I'm with you too" I say back to my girlfriend
"Well I should go so you can touch up Jenny's make up" Kaylee says kissing me on the lips this time probably not knowing she did and as she walks out Jenny walks in
"Why do you look like you seen a ghost?" Jenny asks seeing as my eyes widened from shock that Kaylee kissed me on my lips
"Uhh kaylee just kissed me" I tell Jenny as I get the makeup I need to do her makeup
"Okay but she kisses you all the time on the cheek oh is this any different?" Jenny asks me confused
"That's because she kissed me on the lips this time but it was really quick and I dont think she realized it" I reply to Jenny as I finished touching up her makeup
"And I'm guessing that's not how you wanted you first kiss with her to be" Jenny says hearing somewhat disappointment in my voice
"Yeah I wanted to be after our first official date with her" I tell Jenny
"Well you will get that chance sooner or later, but I gotta get to set to shoot a scene and I wont tell anyone" Jenny says walking out the trailer
