Jungkook brought Rosé to a restaurant.
There are many people eating inside and some are listening to the live band infront of the little stage.
"Thank you!!" The singer said.
Everyone clapped at them.
They took a seat near the stage.
"Welcome to our first set!" The band vocalist said
"Order whatever you like, it's my treat" Jungkook said to her.
"Nonono it's on me" she said and smile at him "You accompanied me the whole day, and I pestered you for the past few weeks for this separation" Jungkook couldn't resist her.
"It's ok" he smiled at her. "So what else do we have to do?" He asked "I'm free anytime just ask me what attorney wants me to...."
Rosé cut him off.
"No. Jungkook, no" she said "It's ok, thank you, You've done enough" Jungkook look confused and new about her actions "From now on, I'll take care of everything. You're cleared, I'll just call you if you need to sign anything. You're free"She said and held his hands.
He felt useless. The fact that he can't see her again makes him feel useless and weak.
He just stared at her. He can't do anything, it's her decision.
"Tonight is Open Mic! So is there anyone who wants to show their talent?" The emcee said
Jungkook looked at the stage.
He stands up.
Rosé didn't saw him walking into the stage.
As long as she looked at Jungkooks chair, she quickly scanned the restaurant to look for him.
"Jungkook?" She called.
"Ok!! We have a jammer for tonight" Rosé looked at the stage. She saw Jungkook beside the emcee "Wow! Handsome guy" the emcee said.
"Jungkook, come here!" She said trying to persuade him to come back to his seat.
Jungkook didn't listen to her, instead he grabbed the mic.
"Good evening, everyone" he said, the audience clapped and cheer.
Rosé couldn't help but hide her face.
He looked to her spot, their eyes met.
"I want to let you know that my wife is here with me" he said and pointed Rosé, she covered her face with the menu book, she is really embarrassed. "but we're getting separated soon..." there is a disappointment in his voice.
"Aweeee" even the audience is disappointed.
"So I hope she changes her mind." Rosé looke at him "I can still accompany you, right?" He asked sincerely as a smiled carved in his face.
"Yes!!!" The audience said.
"We can still help each other out" he added.
"That's right" one of the audience said.
He couldn't hide himself from smiling.
"So, my dear wife, this song is for you" he pointed her, Rosé is surprised.
The the music started to play.
(Just imagine, Rosé is in the audience and he is not wearing a mask)
After the song they went outside the restaurant and headed to the parking lot.
"If you~~" Jungkook still couldn't get over the song, he keep on singing while they are walking.
"You know what, Jungkook, next time you should held a concert at a big arena" she said which make Jungkook smile.
"If I'll have a concert. I would name it JK!" He said picturing something in the air.
"JK" he repeated confidently.
"Shit!!" Rosé said as she hurries to search for her phone.
"What is it. Are you ok?" He asked, Rosé didn't answer.
She called Jimin.
She is supposed to call him five minutes ago.
She waited for him to answer.
"Love? Love? Love, I'm so sorry"
Jungkook just listened to their conversation.
"Love, you're five minutes late" Jimin said as he appeared on the screen.
"I'm sorry" she repeated.
"Anyways, I'm late for my consultation. I'll just call you if ever I finish early ok?" He said. Jungkook looked surprise at the way Jimin talk to Her.
"Promise I'll wait for your call" she said.
"Alright, Love you, Love"
"Ahhh" Rosé look at Jungkook awkwardly, she is not very confident to answet Jimin as Jungkook is beside her, but Jungkook just pretends that he is not listening to their conversation or even looking at her "I love you too" she slightly whispered, then she hung up.
"Sweet" he said bitterly. "What a lucky guy!" He said and leaned to her car.
"I'm the lucky one" she said as she smiles and followed Jungkook.
"How long have you been together?"
"Six, Six Years" she answered." We met in college" she started.
He looked at her.
"Nice, that long ago!" he said with bitterness in his words.
She just nodded agreeing to him.
"I was this lost little girl in our campus. And he was my knight and shining armor" she smiled
"That's nice. It's like..." he said and faced nowhere "it's like a fairytale" he said to her.
"Actually, something like that" she said "I was nothing before. And someone like him, fell inlove to someone like me. He was 'The Park Jimin' in our school"
"I think I know what you're gonna say next" he said, already predicting her scenario "Is it...like... He's my life. He's my sun. He's my compass"
"Yes, he is my compass" she said agreeing "Compass, because all he ever did is give my life a direction" she said, he looked at her.
"So that's the reason why he decides everything for you" he said, she looked at him.
His statement hit her.
Jimin decides everything for her.
"That's how he is. Strong. Stable. His love gives me a future to look forward to."
Jungkook stayed silent. He wished that those words is meant for him.
"Future?" His voice is down and weak.
"A lifetime together. Forever." she added.
Jungkook Just sighed. He is hurt and tired of hearing her talking about him.
What can he do? He started it.
"Forever" he repeated, but with more bitterness in his words.
They stayed quite for a second.
He looked at her, from the moment he took his eyes off of her, she looked at him too.
"Ahm, it's getting late." She said cutting the awkward silence around them "I'll go ahead" she said, he opened the door for her.
Before she could step inside the car, she stopped and looked at him for the last time.
"Goodbye, my future ex-husband" she said, her eyes started to form liquid. But she managed to stop it from falling.
He then grabbed his chest and acted like his heart is in deep pain.
He groaned.
She laughed.
"Crazy" she said.
He smiled and waved at her.
She starts her engine.
She looked at his direction.
She began to drive when she noticed that someone texted him and he finally went inside his car.
Jungkook received a message.
Unknown
~I know someone who can testify for your separation. He's here in Jeju-do
He quickly run as fast as he could to catch up to her car.
She stopped the car, as she noticed Jungkook.
She went out.
"What?"
"Someone texted me and said that she knows someone that can testify our separation!!" he exclaimed.
Her face lit up and a smile is painted in her face.
"It's meant to be!!" She exclaimed.
"It's meant to..." his words was cut off when Rosé suddenly hugged her.
A few seconds passed before Rosé realized what she did.
She awkwardly pull herself out of his embrace. And smile.
"We have to find that guy."She said to lessen the awkwardness.
"Yes" is what he just answered.
"Thank you" she said and went back to her car.
Jungkook couldn't hide the happiness in his face.
He kept on looking at her like she will be gone forever in his arms.
