Chapter 6
Harry's P.O.V.
I stared at the young lady sitting in front of me she smiled and that was the
first time I saw her smile since I met her. It was involuntary to smile back,
even though my mouth was full of food.
Hey! Where did this food come from? Jasmine just smiled and waved.
"You boys like the food?"
Louis and I both nodded in response. Wow this girl could cook! I swallowed my
food.
"Thanks so much, this is very kind of you to do"
"No problem" she said, "Just wanted to thank you for letting me stay here."
"Anytime babe!" Louis answered with delight
We returned with our food to the couch were we began to watch Saturday
morning cartoons.
Jasmine's P.O.V.
As we sat on the couch watching the telly I said to myself. I already feel so at
home here. I think this is where I am supposed to be. But where would I go when
this comfort ends. They won't keep me forever and I have to pay them for food
and water and electricity!!
I jumped up straight off the couch, " I NEED TO GET A JOB I HAVE TO PAY YOU
BACK!"
They looked up at me, a bit surprised at my outburst. I just blushed and sat
back down pulling my shirt over my face in embarrassment. Great so I had like $20,
a backpack of clothes for a day and no toothbrush. I was beyond screwed.
"Can I borrow someone’s phone?"
"Sure thing here is mine!" Louis grinned.
I took the phone and stepped outside to 1. See where I was and 2. Figure out if
I knew anyone who lived here, maybe they could get me a decent job interview.
The street sign read King Street. Oh! Claire lives around here. I plugged in her number and called.
Thank god for Claire! She got me an interview as a receptionist for a management
company.
We had worked together for our first job, Candy Shop and we had so much
fun. That was of course until we were fired. But, we had always remained friends
even when she moved out here.
I walked back inside the house and excitedly exclaimed..
"I got an interview at Syco Management!"
In return I got a frighten look and a fear that I did something completely
insane.
"Sweetheart there is something we have to tell you..."
