I saw him
After months of envy
drowning in the flames
Burning beyond my eyes
I saw him
for the first time in a long time
Looking lost and in need of love
Should I go find him?
or let him be?
I lost him
many months ago
to the storm that swirled around in his tea cup
silver spoons,
lovers loose
He lost him
for the last time,
swore he wouldn't let his waterworks run dry
against the February air
due to another's dislove
realising all the goodbyes he exhaled into the faces of others
aren't as good as he thought
when somebody else's air choked him to the floor
