"The game itself will last fifteen minutes. Individual point values will be added together to reach your team's total point value. Everyone will know how much you're worth because of your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your team's score," Midnight cheerfully explained.
"Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck-up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them," Midnight continued.
"Another thing, even if your headband gets stollen or your team falls down, you can keep playing until time's up!" Midnight cheered.
'So everyone has a chance at winning, hm?'
"This is going to be rough. You may use your quirks as much as you like, but there are still rules! Make a team fall on purpose and I'll slap you with a red card! You'll be disqualified!" Midnight yelled out.
"Now, You got fifteen minutes to build your teams! I recommend you get started!" Midnight shouted.
'I have a lot of points, therefore I'll always be the main target. All I need is one person I can persuade to be on my team and I'll be set.'
That was the issue. No one wanted to be with you, you had the most points. They didn't want to be the main target.
You sighed, unzipping your tracksuit jacket, revealing the black, skin-tight tank-top you wore underneath it. You put on your most innocent face as you yelled your tail in your hand. You looked around for someone who looked strong enough to carry you, but didn't have many partners.
Your eyes landed on two boys, not all that strong looking as individuals, but together they could definitely carry you with ease. One had slick-back black hair while the other had shoulder-length brown hair.
You walked over to the two boys who seemed to be discussing who would be the rider.
"Hey, boys!" you purred as you got into hearing range of the boys.
Both boys turned to look at you, their faces quickly becoming red.
'This is quite embarrassing.'
"Hey, I was wondering if you both would like to be on my team," you said, an innocent glitter in your eyes. Both boys looked at each other, a look on their face that revealed they weren't too sure.
"Please," You begged, nibbling on your lip.
'I feel so embarrassed. I feel as if I'm degrading myself.'
Both boys looked at you with closed-eyed smiles, knowing they couldn't just say no.
"O-Okay," the one with black hair responded, his cheeks red. Even though these tactics made you feel embarrassed, they almost always gave you the results you were looking for.
The boy with shoulder-length brown hair just smiled and gave you a thumbs up, blood coming out of his nose.
"Thanks!" you cheered. "I have a plan, if you'd like to hear it," you said.
"OF COURSE!" both boys shouted.
You whispered something to the both of them, and they stared at you with wide eyes.
"Wait, you can do that?" the one with brown hair asked.
"Yup!" you giggled.
Bakugou looked at you as you giggled with those two boys. He noticed how your tracksuit jacket was unzipped. This was quite annoying. The smiling look on your face, the way those boy just stared at your body.
"Hey, Bakugou, whatcha lookin' at?" Mina asked.
"Nothing," Bakugou growled. Why did he care? He didn't. It was just stupid. That stupid smile and those stupid winks. Stupid. Completely and utterly stupid.
Idiotic.
Ludicrous.
Moronic.
Stupid!
Bakugouturned away completely from (Y/N)'s general direction, clicking his tongue, assuring himself that he didn't care.
Izuku looked at you, tilting his head to the side. He couldn't seem to understand you.
"She's teaming up with someone outside of our homeroom class? That's odd. No one else is doing that besides her. It's not really like anyone in our class would team up with her because they have little to no idea to what her quirk is, but at least we've seen her train a bit to know it's more than just flying quirk, no one else knows that besides us though," Midoriya pondered, mumbling to himself. His team was already picked out.
"Maybe they saw her training? That's really unlikely, but it's a possibility. Does she even know their quirks? Does she have a plan? It really seems like she's just acting mindlessly, but she must be smarter than that, she got in on recommendations," Midoriya mumbled, bothering this teammates. He couldn't seem to figure you out. You were too ominous about your quirk, giving him only one clue.
'Succubus, I've been so busy with training that I haven't been able to take a break and learn what that means. I'll have to look that up later,' Midoriya thought to himself before returning to his team.
Even though you won, not everyone in the audience wouldn't have their eyes on you. For all they knew, you only had a flying quirk. All of their eyes would be on the three boys who finished after you. You knew this, but you'd prove to them how strong you truly were.
Loud buzzers went off, signaling the end of the fifteen minutes given to pick teams.
"Oh goody, it's time to get this party started!" Midnight happily cheered, stretching her arms across her body.
"After fifteen minutes to pick teammates and talk strategy, thirteen cavalry teams have been prepared to go head-to-head!" Present Mic's voice excites the crowd as it echoed throughout the stadium.
"I see some unexpected student combinations," Aizawa's tired voice joined Present Mic's excited one.
"Come on, everyone! Get our hands in the air! It's time for an arena thumping UA battle! Let me here ya' scream!" Present Mic's voice got the crowd roaring.
You sat on the shoulders of the two boys you met earlier. You learned their quirks and names. The one with brown hair, Seiji, had strong goat legs while the one with black hair, Kaito, just had an easier time carrying living creatures, including humans. They were both in general studies and managed to get to the second game because they carried to their classmate, Shinso, who they pointed out.
Shinso was a boy with spiky purple hair and tired eyes. He had the ability to mentally control anyone who verbally responded to him, which was quite impressive. The two boys didn't know about anyone in any of the other classes, but warning you about the Shinso guy was good enough for you.
"Okay, so, the both of you only talk to me, and only me," you told the as you tied your headband around your head.
"Got it!" both boys yelled.
"You boys ready?" you asked, your eyes glowing canary yellow.
Both boys eagerly nodded their heads and hummed,"Mhm!"
"Okay, all you first years! I hope you're happy with you chosen teams! Let's get this party started!" Present Mic excitedly yelled.
You looked at your opponents, then closed your eyes. You remembered what each of them looked like, you kept playing the images of all thirty-nine of your opponents through your mind, keeping the way they looked as clear thoughts.
"One final countdown before the game starts!" Present Mic cheered, making sure to keep the suspense alive for those watching.
'I'll show you that I'm not worthless.'
"Three!"
'Maybe then—'
"Two!"
'—you'll accept me as your daughter.'
"One!"
"BEGIN!" Midnight yelled.
