Just curious, how do y'all imagine Joshua?
Ok, so this isn't the last part, but I can guarantee that the next one will be.
Peter walked into school the next week. He was instantly dragged to the janitor's closet by MJ and Ned. "What's going on?"
"Don't interrupt, okay?" MJ glared at Peter. "Joshua's real identity is Benjamin Miller."
"Benjamin Miller? The kid who died in that lab accident at Oscorp?" Peter tilted his head. "That's impossible."
"That's what we thought." Ned told him. "We dug deeper and turns out, the lab accident was actually a coverup. Benjamin was among the many teenagers brought in that had supernatural abilities. His had something to do with mind manipulation. The subjects thought that they were going to be training to use their powers for good. After their powers were tested, they were trained to become weapons for the government. It was soon realized that they were becoming too powerful, and S.H.I.E.L.D arranged for the place to be bombed."
"We checked the security camera footage and saw that after the explosion, one camera remained. A figure rushed in and grabbed Benjamin's body. Rhodey told us about how Ock attacked you yesterday. After that it was a matter of connecting the dots." MJ said. "We have two theories. One, Ock somehow managed to bring Benjamin back to life. This doesn't explain why he's evil. The second--"
"That whoever is in the tower, is someone who is identical in every way to Benjamin. In other words, a clone." Ned finished for MJ. "With Doc Ock's brilliance it isn't so far fetched."
"What about Olivia?" Peter asked, shivering as he remembered that girl.
"We think that he thought he could distribute Benjamin's powers into other people. Obviously it didn't work, considering that there's only one. Based on Rhodey and Happy's descriptions of her, she seemed unstable. The other test subjects...they probably went pop from the new overload of power."
"She did seem more reckless than Joshua." Peter mumbled. "Do you have proof that we can show to anyone?"
"The footage from the security camera is about it." Ned grimaced. "Without proof that Joshua is not what he seems, it all just sounds like nonsense conspiracy theories."
"Why should I even care about any of this? Joshua is a clone! Big whoop! He hasn't done anything particularly bad so should it even matter to me?" Peter reached for the door handle, but was stopped when MJ blocked him.
"You can't forget that this is Ock we're talking about. He got Joshua to mind control Tony, getting him access to the tower. If Joshua can control everyone in the tower, Ock will have taken down Earth's mightiest heroes. If they fall you're the last defence!" Ned told him.
"They have Scott, they'll be fine." Peter scowled.
"Peter, Scott is nothing compared to the Avengers. You and I both know that." Ned pressed. "Ock recognized that you're a threat and came after you, who's to say he won't do it again?!"
"He came after me because he has a stupid grudge." Peter crossed his arms.
"Can you really live knowing that your family is being tortured?" MJ asked him.
"My family is dead!" Peter yelled, silencing Ned and MJ. At that moment, the janitor opened the door.
"What the--are you having a threesome in here?" The janitor asked.
"Yes." MJ replied with a straight face. The janitor made a grossed out face.
"Nasty! Not in my closet!" He exclaimed, shooing them out. "Damn teens." He mumbled before shutting the door.
"Peter." MJ said, gaining his attention. "When the time comes you have to choose, will you stand by or will you fight?" With that, she walked away.
"Just...think about it, man." Ned patted Peter on the shoulder and went to join MJ. Peter sighed and walked to class.

Pepper and Tony announced that the wedding was back on to the Avengers. Wanda gasped.
"Seriously?! You're going to stay with this idiot?!" She yelled.
"I support it." Natasha shrugged.
"As do I." Steve nodded. Clint had a mouthful of burrito and just gave a thumbs up.
"So we're just gonna act like nothing happened?!" Bucky exclaimed, standing up. "He kicked Peter out! We're just gonna move on?!"
"What is wrong with you?!" Sam agreed with Bucky. "You're awful people!" Sam glanced at Steve. "I looked up to you!"
"I support it." Rhodey said as he walked into the room with Joshua, who had a small smirk. "I'll stand by Tony and Pepper."
"Welcome to the good side, compadre." Tony smiled at Rhodey. Bucky was practically red with anger at this point.
"Are you fucking kidding me?!"
"Language." Steve shot Bucky a stern glare. Bucky shot Steve a dangerous look.
"Shut the fuck up. You can kiss my motherfucking ass you traitorous bitch." Bucky told Steve in a dangerously calm voice. Clint silently laughed at the shocked expression on Steve's face. Bucky turned to Clint. "And you. You have children of your own. Peter is just a child and you treated him like the dirt under your boots."
"Can that freak really be considered a child?" Clint asked lazily. Sam clenched his fists and stormed out of the room, but no one really noticed. Wanda stood up and was about to say something when Joshua stepped in the center of the room and gained everyone's attention.
"Hey, let's all....calm down." Joshua smirked as everyone in the room became lost in his now red eyes.
"N-No--" Dr. Strange mumbled.
"Wh-What--" Wanda tried to say. Vision sat up, alarmed.
"Ah, it doesn't work on synthezoids, does it?" Joshua tilted his head. He walked over, but before he could do anything Vision warped out of the room. Joshua turned his eyes back to their normal shade and smirked. He looked over his new army and instantly noticed that Falcon wasn't there. "Find him." He told the rest. "A little birdie wants to play hide and seek."

Sam was trying to make his way out of the tower, undetected. He overheard what was happening and was trying his best to escape.
"Friday." Sam heard Tony say. "Scan the building for Sam Wilson."
Sam held his breath like that would not make Friday find him. One of the cameras focused in on him and Sam knew for a fact that Friday had spotted him. The camera looked at him for a little longer before turning away.
"He is not in the building." Friday told Tony. Sam silently thanked Friday and went to put on his suit. He heard the Avengers get in an elevator while he was on the way.
"Bring him to me." Joshua told them before the elevator doors shut. Sam cursed. He was stuck in the building with Joshua. His only way to escape was the roof.
"Great." Sam thought. "I'll have to take the stairs to get there." Joshua was waiting by the elevator, so there was no chance of escaping that way.
He put on his suit and quietly began walking up the stairs. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding when he reached the roof. He began his flight to Peter Parker's house.

Peter wasn't expecting much when he opened his door, but was throughly surprised to see Vision sitting on his couch. "Peter."
"Uncle Vis?" Peter tilted his head. "What are you doing here?"
"The Avengers have been mind controlled by Joshua." Vision explained shortly. "I am very powerful, but I couldn't defeat all of them. I need your help. You're probably the only one who could take all the Avengers head on."
"Yeah, what he said." Peter turned around and saw Sam. "Don't worry, I got away before he did that weird demonic eye thing." Vision recalled seeing Sam leave the room and nodded to reassure Peter. "We don't have a lot of time. I'm currently being tracked down by all the Avengers so it won't be long until they find me."
"We need your help." Vision told Peter, standing next to Sam. Peter looked at them both.
"No." He said simply, stunning them both. "I'm not going to risk my life for this."
"This is world domination we're talking about." Sam stepped forward. "You don't really have a choice. All your friends will be enslaved or better yet, killed."
Peter thought about having to watch MJ and Ned take a bullet through the skull. He clenched his fists and looked Sam in the eyes. "Fine." He told them. Before either of them could reply he told them what MJ and Ned had told him earlier.
"A clone? Are we talking Star Wars?" Sam asked. Vision elbowed him in the stomach. Sam scowled at him before turning back to Peter. "So, what's out plan of action?"
"To take down an army, you have to kill the source." Peter told them.
"Joshua?" Vision asked. Peter nodded.
"We kill Joshua, the Avengers are freed."
"That's harder than it sounds." Sam crossed his arms. "If any of us rush him, we'll either be taken down by the Avengers or mind controlled on the spot. What do we do?"
"I'd normally say use Clint but he's not available to us." Peter mumbled. "We'll either have to sneak up on Joshua, which I highly doubt will work, or..." Peter trailed off, Sam and Vision both knew what he was going to say.
"We'll have to fight our way through." Vision mumbled. "But what will we do when the time comes to kill Joshua?"
"Vision, laser beams?" Sam tapped the mind stone.
"Oh, right." Vision mumbled. "I'll take on Wanda."
"That's a stupid idea. She's the only one who can kill you." Peter told him.
"So I just take her down before she can." Vision shrugged. "This is the best option, she'll be a major threat to you guys."
"What about Strange?" Sam reminded him. "He's among the most powerful."
"If Vision is going after Wanda, Strange will be a big problem. Sam, I'm trusting you with this." Peter turned to him. Sam nodded. "That leaves me with everyone else."
"Are you sure about this?" Vision asked Peter.
"Certain." Peter nodded. "Joshua is always one step ahead. He probably knows that you two would come here and is probably on his way right--" Peter was cut off by a repulsor beam just barely missing his face. "--now."
They all turned to the door and saw all the Avengers, with Joshua standing right behind them.
"This should be fun." Sam mumbled.
