???: "oh you got to be kidding me"
a young man named Y/n stood nexted to a window, he looked outside to see it raining heavily, but it didn't help that it was boiling hot earlier in the day
???: "so what are you going to do?"
Y/n looked around and saw someone he worked with
this is Y/n's girlfriend, her name is Miku Soul Eater, she is known for being a bit obsesive with him, but he doesnt mind because she knows when to give him a bit of space for himself
Y/n: "i don't know, i didn't bring an unbrella so i'm doomed"
Miku: "well you could allways come to my house, we could watch a horror movie and cuddle"
Miku wrapped her arms around Y/n's neck as she smiled sweetly, she then leaned into him as she wanted to kiss him but he stopped her by putting his finger in-between the their lips, Miku pouted as Y/n smiled
Miku: "why are you teasing me?"
Y/n: "because its funny and I find it cute when you pout"
Miku: "I hate when you tease me"
Miku started to hit Y/n softly as he chuckled, he then walk back to his desk and sat down, his and Miku's boss then walked into the room, they both acted like they was doing work, which made their boss sigh
???: "you two know that everyone know that you two are dating right?"
Miku: "yes miss Glenda"
this women is Michel Lilith English Glenda, or Michel L.E Glenda, she runs a company that Y/n and Miku, she is known around the company for being a bit strict with people but has a sweet spot for Y/n, no one knows why but it also makes her a bit over protective of him
Michel: "I know that you two are dating each, and the fact you can't keep your hand off Y/n"
Miku: "hey!"
Michel: "also you're both leaving early today, since the storm has flooded the second and third floors balcony has flooded and health and safety is going mental"
Y/n: "cool, i'm already done so, I can do nothing"
Miku: "what about hanging out with your girlfriend?"
Y/n: "don't you need to hang out with your friends, you know, the 'girls only movie night'"
Miku: "but I don't think they will want to after all"
Miku's phone went off as she got a text, she then gowned as Y/n chuckled, she then latched onto him as he patted her head
Miku: "they're still coming over!!!"
Y/n: "they're you friends aren't they?"
Miku: "i'm excited but I also spend time with you"
Michel: "you was flirting him in the break room, for an entire two hour"
Miku: "that's normal for us"
Y/n: "but we're not exactly a normal couple"
Miku started to softly hit Y/n again as a girl with pink hair walked in
this girl is Sako Mirai, she has been given the nickname 'Sage', Sako has a massive crush on Y/n but she isn't able to date him because of Miku, so both Sako and Miku have bad blood between each other, they normally argue with each when Y/n isn't there
Sako: "hey Y/n~"
Y/n: "Hey Sako"
Miku: "hi skank"
Sako: "hi dwarf"
Michel: "you three better leave before I start firing people"
Y/n + Miku +Sako: "yes ma'am"
they all walked down to the entrance and waited for Sako's mom and Miku's dad to pick them up, Sako's mom picked her up first, Miku kept flirting as Sako left, Sako looked like she wanted to commit murder
Miku: "BYE SAKO!!! I'LL KEEP MY Y/N NICE AND WARM WHILE YOU'RE GONE!!!!~"
after Sako left, Miku started to get worried about Y/n, he never brought a coat, umbrella or any thing that could keep him dry to work today, when Miku's dad arrived, he offered Y/n a ride home but Y/n declined, kiss Miku's cheek and started to walk home, he walked in the pouring rain for ten minute until he heard whimpering, he followed the sounds until he found a cardboard box that was falling apart, he opened it to find a small girl with a red hood, she could fit into Y/n's hand
she was trying to keep the box together, but when she saw Y/n, she started to shake in fear as Y/n took of his jacket, he used it like a umbrella to stop her from getting anymore wet, he then put his hand next to her, she sniffed it but a wall of the box fell down, the small girl fell to her knees and cried, Y/n started to rub the back of her head, she looked at Y/n, who smiled at her
Y/n: "you want to come with me?"
the small girl quickly jumped onto Y/n's hand, he took it as a 'yes', he covered her with his jacket and quickly ran home, he walked into his house
and placed the small girl on the floor, he quickly walked upstairs, he changed his clothes and grabbed a clean towel and walked back downstairs, he started to dry the girl as she was nervous about her new surroundings, Y/n stopped drying her as she started to look around, he chuckled as she started barking, he started to think to himself until he decided to ask the small girl
Y/n: "do you want to live here?"
the small girl looked at him while tilting her head as he asked her again
Y/n: "do you want to live here? with me?"
her tail started move like crazy as a smile formed on her face, she ran over to him and hugged his leg, he started petting her as he realised that she needed a name, so he started saying names to see which she would react to
Y/n: "Lucy"
no reaction
Y/n: "Little Red"
no reaction
Y/n: "Robin Hood"
No reaction
Y/n: "Ruby"
she quickly looked Y/n with a smile
Y/n: "that settles it, your new name is Ruby"
he started petting her as he realised that he didn't have food for her, he stood up and walked over to the door, he put on his shoes and his coat, he looked at Ruby, he picked her up and placed her in he coat, she was under his chin with her head sticking out, he grabbed a umbrella and walked out of the house, he walked to the nearest pet shop and walked in, he walked to the counter and talked to the person behind the counter, he placed Ruby on the counter but she refused to let go of Y/n's hand
Y/n: "I found her outside and decided to keep her, but I don't have any food for her"
???: "no worries, i'll help you find everything you need, also call me Lucy"
Lucy walked around the counter and showed Y/n around the store, she told him impotent thing, Y/n even picked out a carrier and bed for Ruby, Ruby also picked out a toy for herself, Lucy helped Y/n bring everything to the front, but a lady walked over and started yell because her hair was wet and wasn't aloud to use the dryer for pets, someone else delt with her as Lucy started to examine Ruby
Lucy: "oh! she's a Red Rose breed!"
Y/n: "Red Rose Breed?"
Lucy: "yep, they are normally every active and playful, it will be important to play with her a lot so she doesn't feel left out, also Red Rose Breeds love chocolate chip cookies"
Y/n: "she can eat cookies?"
Ruby: "WAN! WAN!"
Y/n looked at the Ruby as she smiled back at him with her tail wagging like crazy, Y/n started petting her as she loved the attention, Lucy continued to explain the important information, feeding to sleeping habits, Y/n thank her and tried to put Ruby into her new carrier but she didn't let go of Y/n's hand, he was tried to pull her off but it still didn't work, he sighed as Ruby giggled, Y/n put Ruby back in his coat as he payed for the stuff, Lucy gave Y/n her number if he had any questions, it took Y/n ten minute to get home, he placed Ruby on the floor as she started to run around, he then put Ruby's new bowl onto the floor and filled it with food, he then did the same with a water bowl, he then crashed onto the couch, Ruby ate some food and had a drink before climbing onto the couch next to Y/n and falling a sleep next to him, Y/n chuckled and closed his eyes
Y/n: "goodnight Ruby, we'll play more tomorrow"
