Kayus looks at the smiling princess. Princess Surrie.
She is pretty but not enough to class.
Julius look at Kayus. He thinks this man likes his sister.
"About the thing you told me. Is it really true that that herb is within your country?"
"I am sure. We have a legend about a girl who ate a mushroom that taste like meat. It is the same as the herb you are looking for. It can only be found in the mountain area. I have my men locating it. But the bandits are suppressing my men."
"We came here for the herb. Whatever reason and cause, we need to take that herb back. After that, we will help you just like we promise."
"Yes. Because I believe in your King that is why I am doing my best to assist you." Kayus said.
"Isnt it alright not to inform your King?" Julius ask.
Kayus didnt answer and stands up.
"I will contact you when I get a good news. Enjoy your stay in the capital." He said.
"Wait. I have a man I like. But I cant locate him. Help me find him." Surrie smiles deepen and her cute dimple appears.
"What is the price?" Kayus turn and look at her.
Surrie pouts.
"It is just locating one man. Why are you asking compensation? Dont we have to look for each other?"
"Heh~ Princess Surrie says something funny. I am not here to have a good relationship with you. I only need your help in suppressing other country and in exchange I help you find a cure for your father. This is equal exchanges."
"Stingy."
"Stop it. I am sorry Mr. Kayus." Julius said politely.
"Prinve Julius should not be too humble. I am unworthy to get your apology."
"Show off." Surrie angrily said.
Kayus is walking slowly as he admires the flower in the trees.
It is almost winter.
This type of flower will wilt.
"If it isnt Kayus."
Kayus stunned when he saw the Queen eating in the small street noodle shop.
Her huge bump is very eye catching.
Stunned.
Kayus didnt know what to do.
He has been looking for her.
Searching every corner.
Yet she....
"Those noodles are unhealthy your majesty!" Kayus strode forward as if very concern and very angry.
Then he found out that the one sitting beside the Queen is the King.
"Your highness?" Stunned again. Kayus look at the wide open mouth of the King who is about to take the huge serving of noodle to his mouth.
"Kayus, should try this. Master, one more black egg soba noodles!" Zia said.
The noodle master nods and hive Kayus a mouth watering huge servings of noodles.
Expectantly, King and Queen looks at Kayus.
"Am I dreaming?" Kayus closes his eyes.
Zia stand up and slap Kayus face.
The hand print in his face felts like burning.
Kayus is frozen as he stares at Zia.
"It hurts?" Zia ask.
"Obviously!" Kayus bit his lower lip and squint his eyes. Why did he falls in love with this unreasonable woman.
"Good. It means you are awake." Walter said and laughs. Gulping the last mouthful of soup.
"Eh?" Kayus look at the nonchalant couple that is having an eating contest at the moment.
Then he silently eat his own meal.
It is warm.
He stares at the King and The Queen.
They look so harmonious together.
"Squeek."
Kayus almost throw up the food in his mouth when he saw a black huge rat in the table. He held in and almost choke.
"Why is there a rat here?! Master should not bully your customer!" Kayus shouted angrily.
"Ah..Kayus, that is Arcadia." Zia said as if he said something wrong.
"Who is Arcadia?"
"The Queen's pet."
Kayus almost flip when he heard a soft and cold voice behind him.
"Eros?"
"Its been a while." Eros smiles.
"What are you all doing here? And you! Arent you running away? And your highness, you shouldnt be here." Kayus said.
Zia and Walter look at each other.
"But we are worried about you." Walter and Zia said at the same time.
"Worried?"
"You are seeing the Northern Garrison Kingdom's Prince and Princess. What if they do something untoward you?" Walter said.
Kayus froze.
So, the king's knows.
He laughs a little then his eyes sadden.
"So you are here to capture me? You dont have to. I will confess." Kayus said and let go of his chopstick.
Zia smiles and hug Kayus from the back.
Kayus eyes widen.
"Kayus is a part of our family, what ever you do, you do thinking about the King and his country. In exchange for your devotion and loyalty, the King and I, both will trust you fully. Kayus, do not worry about it. We believe in you."
Kayus eyes watered.
He looks at the warm soup.
"I tried separating the King and the Queen. How can you trust me?"
"It is still me who make a final call. Warren said you are a bit distress and tells me everything. Kayus, loosen up. This fight is not yours alone." Walter said smiling.
"Y-you knew...and you still keep me?" Kayus hand trembles.
"Because I like you." Walter said and took Kayus bowl of noodle soup and put it on his mouth.
"I think of you as my brother. Lying to me is one thing, but do not endanger yourself."
Kayus stands up only to kotowed to the King.
"I offer my whole life to you my Lord.I swear to use the remaining of my life to serve you."
Walter smiles.
"So you like me I heard?" Zia smiles.
"Why am I escorting you to the Prime minister's home?" Kayus avoid the topic.
"I know I am pretty but oh well.. They said it is too harsh to be too beautiful."
"Arent you to full of yourself?" Kayus ssid angrily.
"But you like me right?" Zia looks at him with triumphant smile.
"I regret liking you."
"But you still likes me." Zia continue teasing.
Out of no where a woman in her white laced dress walks behind them.
Zia looks horrified.
Kayus makes a protective stance.
"Who did you say you likes?"
"Calm down Lily!" Zia said.
"Lady Lily, gokd evening." Kayus.
Lily stands tip toed eyeing Kayus.
"You! Only I can have you!"
"Excuse me?"
"Eh?" When Lily realized what she said her face reddened.
"Lily, so cool." Zia said teasingly behind Kayus.
"I...I...."
"Lady Lily?"
"I said nothing!" Lily punches Kayus all her strenght.
Kayus got knock out.
"Kayus? Sir Kayus?" Lily said tearing up.
Eros who is on the tree saw everything and his body shivers. The form and stance of Lady Lily is exactly the stance of the Queen.
Lady Lily really learned from this woman.
"What should I do?" Lily ask Zia.
"This is your chance! Get him nude and sleep with him all night. Tomorrow, you can be sure he will never leave you again."
"Eh? Can I do that?"
"What do you mean? All is fair in love and war!"
"I...I see.."
Walter on the palace looks at the sky.
Warren walks to him.
"Brother, I think I might die." Walter said seriously.
Warren hold his hand and place a paper of medicine to his hand.
"The doctor said it is constipation. Go and drink this."
"I am not dying?"
"I would hate to have a brother who died from constipation so please dont." Warren sigh.
Walter is never a heavy eater so why did he ate so many noodle soup this night?

The weather is really hot here.
I wake up sweating so much every day.
And the electric fan feels useless.
I want to buy an air cooler but I dont have enough budget yet.
